Woodpecker is a comfortable and inexpensive B & B Hostel at the boundary between San Isidro and Miraflores - Lima.
We offer you a pleasant stay in our small, secure, warm and clean backpackers hostel, where you will find not only an excellent service but a very friendly atmosphere too. We speak Spanish, English, German and French (Portuguese is understood).
In our hostel we offer cooking facilities, hot water 24 hours a day, free internet, cable TV and DVD, book exchange, laundry service, free local phone calls and discounts for longtime stays.

As former jungel tourist guide from Iquitos, the manager is still in contact with many guides and agencies of my hometown and therefor can give excellent information and advices to our guests. Aswell we have contacts to guesthouses and guides in other cities in Peru and Bolivia.

I would recomend Nomade Backpackers Hostel. Its cheap, very clean and cosy. The staff is young and sometimes they even go to party with the guests. The hostel is in Miraflores, very safe location. There is free wifi internet, lockers in dorms, self catering kitchen and breakfast is included in the 10$ price. Ask for diego or jorge, nice guys. This is their website www.nomade.com.pe
