Is the area affected for the tsunami 6 year ago??

my suggestion is your firts option , all the andaman coast . keep in mind : tarutao and surin islands , probably ,above all the second one , the best of the best .

I would like to do a coast trip around this areas and islands, but i dont know if the tsunami made disasters in the snorkel-diving areas.

My trip is basickly snorkel and scuba.

I have 3 choices:

A) surin and similan islands and the head south of the country (phi phi, koh lipe, taru tao).

B) Koh tao area. But i think there are not many islands on this side.

C) Ko Samet, Koh chang area. Dont know know anything about this.

What do you recommend for snorkel-scuba-explore-nature trip??
