Safaris hay de todos los precios y este tiene que ir de acuerdo ,sobre todo con el alojamiento,y la comida fundamentalmente ,aunque también con la pericia del guia y la cantidad de gente que va en el vehiculo.......
Ten en cuenta ,que de j´burg al kruger pierdes media mañana y a la vuelta igual...si tienes tiempo y ganas ,alquilar un carro tres días ,lo puedes alquilar,por menos de 100 e en el aeropuerto( con gps).
Alojamiento tres días ..unos 100 E ...los dos -50 por persona -gasolina y comida unos 100 mas...la entrada del parque 50 mas por cabeza
Así que calculo que por tu cuenta ,te puede costar entre 200-3oo por persona tres días....

Leyendo esto, creo que es mejor hacerlo por tu cuenta. Te alojan en un 2-bed chalet en Skukuza, que sale a unos 75euros/noche mientras que si vas tu puedes quedarte en una safari tent por 37 euros/noche (aunque con baño compartido). Que te den desayuno y cena esta bien, pero no te incluyen las bebidas. En Skukuza hay varios sitios para comer, así que eso no seria un problema.
Ahora bien, lo que si me parece un poco timo es que pagas esa pasta para que solo te lleven a ver animales al amanecer y al atardecer...y te vas a quedar el resto del día tirado en el camping? Yendo solo 2 días y pagando 500 euros? Mi recomendación es que cojas un coche por tu cuenta y te pases desde que amanece hasta que se pone el sol recorriendo el parque. Es la unica manera de exprimir al maximo ese tiempo.

Por lo leido ,estoy seguro que por tu cuenta ,lo puedes hacer mucho mas barato ,aunque habria que sumarle al presupiesto ,que te comente ,las salidas por la mañana y noche ,que si son 4, seran unos 100E mas por cabeza...,
Si no te quieres liar mucho ,y prefieres que te lo den hecho ,tampoco esta tan mal ,al medio día puedes hacer una caminata a pie ,o alguna actividad ,aunque eso representa dinero...y si no piscina al medio día o leer un rato, o recoger leña...siempre se puede hacer alguna cosilla ,solo son dos días.
Si quieres ver el kruger mas detenidamente ,entonces si que te diria que te cogieras un carro y te lo recorrieras de norte a sur aunque ,asi necesitarias muchos mas días ...
Como experiencia si es tu primer safari,puede estar bien ,te confieso que mi primer safari me salio mas caro,pero lo disfrute como una bestia ...asi que depende de lo que quieras hacer,de las dos maneras seguro que te lo pasaras bien y se te quedara la misma cara que se nos queda a todos cuando avandonamos el kruger...

Hola vivid se puede hacer por tu cuenta perfectamente. Nosotros lo hicimos, aunque un día cogimos un safari organizado y es el día que pudimos ver los "big five" en un solo día.

Estoy preparando un viaje por Sudafrica y necesito algo de ayuda.
En el parque Kruger tenemos pensado pasar una semana y he leido en una cronica que el itinerario que vas a realizar se tiene que comunicar a los guardas del parque cuando pasas la entrada. Eso es cierto? En ese caso no se puede cambiar la ruta sobre la marcha? Tiene algo que ver el área que recorras con los precios de entrada?
Y otra cosa; Cual es la entrada recomendable para poder hacer las primeras compras y coger información, mapas y cosas que se puedan nacesitar para la estancia en el parque? Tenía pensado entrar por Cocodrile Bridge pero parece ser que no hay infraestructura suficiente para todo eso.

Hola Nyeri,
En la entrada de los parques te suelen preguntar si vas de visita de un día o si te vas a quedar mas tiempo (si has reservado alojamientos), ya que necesitas un permiso para salir del parque. Yo no he tenido que dar explicaciones en este sentido cuando he pernoctado en alguno de los parques de SANParks. Vas con tus reservas y ya dentro del parque vas por donde quieras. Lo que si te recomiendo es que reserves con antelación, ya que Kruger se llena (no se cuando vas, pero si es en agosto esta prácticamente completo).
El precio de Kruger es el mismo en todas las areas, así que puedes moverte libremente por dentro del parque.
En cuanto a la entrada recomendable para lo que preguntas, creo que la mejor seria Paul Kruger, la que esta al lado de Skukuza (que es como un mini ciudad. Tiene de todo).

St. Lucia o Panorama Route? Pues eso ya depende de tus gustos, pero creo que el Blyde River Canyon es una obligación. Lo que pasa es que dedicarle 3/4 días es demasiado. Puedes ir a St. Lucia y de ahí a la Panorama Route pasando por Swazi y luego ya Kruger. Es un poco paliza, pero puede ser un buen plan.

La verdad es que sí, pinta bien esa ruta...¿Quizás mejor hacer primero St.Lucia, luego Kruger y luego la Panorama para ir a dejar el coche en Johanesburgo, ¿no? ¿Qué tal 7-8 días para todo esto?

Bueno, realmente te va a dar igual hacer primero Kruger y luego Panorama o al revés, están pegados. Pero bueno, como vienes por el sur, quiza te venga mejor entrar primero a Kruger y dejar la Panorama para lo ultimo.
Viajamos a Kruger a finales de julio-principios de agosto y estaremos 1 semana. En principio la idea es ir combinando Skukuza y Satara. El Lower Sabie ya está lleno.
En esa época del año hace frío. Hay calefacción en los bungalows?. Hace frío en los alojamientos.
¿Cómo son los safaris tents?. ¿Vale la pena pagar más para estar en un bungalow?:

Yo también he escrito. Me han respondido que no pueden hacer mi cambio para Satara pero que mire la disponibilidad online y modifique la reserva.
Sin embargo, no sé como se hace porque en la opción de my existing reservations, puedes cancelar el campo, cambiar el día sin variar de campo ó incluso de tipo de acomodación dentro del campo. Sin embargo no aparece ninguna opción de cambio de campo.
