Al principio consideraba que se trataba de ratas gigantes, pero, después de varias investigaciones, descubrió que se trataba de una especie marsupial de la familia del canguro -con la diferencia de que tan solo mide el tamaño de un gato-. Viven alrededor de 10 años y son herbívoros, principalmente nocturnos.

En mi caso creo que solo nos plantearíamos llegar hasta ningaloo desde perth... 2 semanas
Y quedaría una semana para red center
Y otra para sidney y vuelos...
Si rasco una semana más y hay presupuesto igual se puede volar a cairns y subir hasta cape tribulation
No está olvidado, solo pospuesto. Me pasó igual con Alaska - tenía la ruta y todo planeado desde 2014 pero entre unas cosas y otras no salió hasta 2018
Una semana en Red Centre es bastante, a no ser que quieras meter una visita al West McDonnell NP desde Alice Springs, que debe ser bastante espectacular.
Si por un milagro cuadraran vuelos podría hacerlo entrando por un aeropuerto y saliendo por otro

Hola! Al final haremos Perth - Exmouth - Perth todo en van. La opción de subir en avión hasta Learmonth la desechamos porque no encontramos ninguna compañía de campervans que permitiese el viaje one way desde Exmouth hasta Perth. La semana que viene colgaré el itinerario definitivo, estamos a falta de los últimos días en la costa este.

Que es una de las principales atracciones de Jurien Bay!
Los leones marinos viven en Essex Rocks, Buller y North Fisherman Islands of Jurien Bay Marine Park.
Los recorridos llevan a Essex Rocks, a solo 15 minutos desde el puerto de botes de Jurien Bay, donde hay alrededor de 30 leones marinos.
En el Visitor Centre se puede conseguir info y hacer reservas
Comer y cosas importantes
Hay un par gasolineras, un supermercado IGA.
Jurien tiene dos pubs y una nueva microcervecería llamada Kakka Alley Brewing. The Bay Bakery es popular por sus pasteles.
Dobbyn Park Foreshore tiene un buen área de juegos para niños, barbacoas gratuitas y comida básica en el Jurien Jetty Café contiguo.

¡Yo la conozco! Impresionante de ver y perfecta para una parada en el camino.
Nosotros también nos acercamos al Principado de Hutt Valley, que fue disuelto en 2020. No sé si se podrán visitar las tierras todavía. El recorrido en coche era bonito, nos dio una idea de como era la agricultura en la zona (cosa que no se ve desde la costa, claro).

Nuestra idea sería hacer una ruta circular Perth-Exmouth-Perth incluyendo Karijini, algo así:
Pero con más paradas intermedias de las que aparecen en el mapa, ya que lo haríamos en 19 días. Antes del road-trip visitaríamos Perth y Rottnest Island para ver los quokkas 🤩
Cuando tenga una ruta más definida y la información sobre qué ver en cada punto me paso a compartirlo. _________________ I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list.
