Y para el snorkel, ¿qué playas recomendáis? Nos moveremos en autobús, así que tendrían que se playas a las que se llegue por este medio, más o menos cerca.

Ghar Lapsi, Malta (beyond Siggiewi): a local beauty spot which can get busy in summer. It’s a small inlet below an impressive, craggy coastline used by a few local fishermen. Swim out of the inlet and along the coast – it’s very deep here and excellent snorkeling. Easy road down to inlet, parking and cafes.

Regular snorkellers recommend swimming out of the inlet and along the coast. The water is very deep here, and is excellent for an exciting snorkelling session.

Recomendamos ir a Ghar Lapsi porque, aunque es un lugar frecuentado por muchas familias y niños, tiene sombra en una entrante de la ladera de la montaña rocosa que te permite bañarte en una piscina natural. La vegetación bajo esa piscina, que a priori no parece sorprender, te deja nuevamente con la boca abierta. Para llegar en bus a Ghar Lapsi hay que coger el 71 desde Valletta (sólo en verano) y para Blue Grotto el 201 desde el aeropuerto o también el 71 desde Valletta (sólo en verano).

Fomm ir-Rih, Malta (beyond Bahrija – a little trek down a slope). The beach itself is very pebbly, so best to wear rubber shoes. Only swim here if the sea is calm. Very clear water, generally very quiet, and a lovely natural location.

The path is rough, steep and even slippery, and it takes around around 20 minutes to get there. The walk down the beach however, is accompanied by fantastic views, not only of the cyan-coloured sea, but also of the surrounding cliffs and valleys.
Moreover, it is without a doubt, all worth it in the end, as you get to enjoy hours of undisturbed peace and tranquility.

One of the favourite beaches to visit in Malta for a snorkelling session, given the clear blue water, the bright white sand, and adjacent beach club for refreshments. There is a long flight of stairs to access this bay, but once there you’ll see that it is worth the exercise.
