"Due to the Covid-19 pandemic in many parts of the world and the WHO recommendations to avoid unnecessary travel, the Tourist and Pilgrimage visa options have been removed from the list of E-VISA until further notice."

"At many pharmacies in the city of Venice, it is possible to book an antigen test at the test center at the San Tomà civic center.

You must go in person to the pharmacy with ID, your Italian/European health card (if you have one), and/or your Italian Tax code (if you have one).
The availability of a test will depend on the demand, but it is usually available within 24-48 hours. If you need an antigen test for travel this is a good option as it can be booked in advance.

Noticia de hoy

Border measures extended to 15th of June
Quote::

has decided to extend the application of current government regulation on quarantine, isolation and testing at the border of Iceland in connection with COVID-19 until the coming 15th of June. By then, at least 60 percent of the population, equivalent to 75 percent of those who will be called in for vaccination, is expected to have at least received the first dose of vaccine. This takes view of the opinion of the Chief Epidemiologist that it is advisable to keep testing at the border unchanged for the time being in order to be able to start lifting the testing at the border around mid-June.

The amendment to the regulation will be made that on 1st of June the compulsory stay in a quarantine facility of travellers arriving from high-risk areas will cease to apply. This is because the incidence rate of infections at the border has been steadily decreasing since the compulsory stay in a quarantine facility took effect. The number of European countries on the list of high-risk areas has also decreased. The use of quarantine facilities will therefore be as it was previously, i.e. for individuals who are obliged to undergo quarantine and who have no place to go in Iceland or who are otherwise unable or unwilling to isolate in a facility they themselves have arranged for.

The regulation banning unnecessary travel from specified high-risk areas due to the COVID-19 pandemic issued by the Minister of Justice will cease to apply on 1 June.

In this morning´s cabinet meeting it was decided that the previously announced colour-coding system at the border will not take effect . This is done because the lifting of measures at the border is anticipated to go faster against all countries, regardless of the situation of the epidemic there, since the number of those vaccinated is increasing very rapidly. Under those circumstances there is no gain in introducing a colour-coding system for only a short period of time.

The goal is that rapid tests will be used increasingly instead of PCR-tests for those leaving the country, whether they are Icelanders travelling abroad or foreign tourists who have stayed in Iceland. The work on such an arrangement is underway in the Ministry of Health and the arrangement will be presented within a few days.

Travel to and within Iceland
People living in Iceland are strongly advised against unnecessary travel to high-risk areas due to COVID-19. Special rules apply when travelling to Iceland.

Passengers travelling to Iceland that don´t have a certificate of vaccination or a certificate that they have had COVID-19 need to follow different rules when arriving depending on where they travel from.
Only Greenland and the Faroe Islands are considered safe areas but all other countries are risk areas.
In addition to that, the Chief Epidemiologist defines certain high-risk countries that are devided into two categories based on infection rate. (List I and II).
Unnecessary traveling of people without vaccination or a previous infection of COVID-19, who don´t live in Iceland, from high-risk countries (list II. Named restricted areas here) is prohibited.

Quote::
Unnecessary travel from restricted areas (list II)
Foreigners travelling from restricted areas (list II) that are not exempt from the ban and don´t have a valid reason for travel are banned from coming to Iceland.

www.government.is/ ...high-risk/

Quote::
New list of areas and countries that are considered high-risk due to COVID-19 enters into force on May 18. The definition of high-risk areas affects which individuals must quarantine in a quarantine facility upon arrival in Iceland. The definition of criteria for determining whether countries or areas are considered high-risk area has not been changed, this is only a change in the countries and regions that are considered high-risk areas due to COVID-19.

Mandatory quarantine in a quarantine facility: Passengers arriving from a country or region where the incidence rate of infection is 700 or higher, must unconditionally quarantine in a quarantine facility. This also applies if the incidence rate of infection is between 500-699 and the ratio of positive samples is 5% or higher, or if the incidence rate is over 500 but satisfactory information on the ratio of positive samples is not available. An exception from this requirement is only granted if there are pressing reasons to do so, such as the individual’s disability, level of mental development or other comparable reasons.

Me podéis ayudar? To enter the Netherlands COVID-19 PCR- or LAMP-test AND pre-departure Rapid-Antigen test required
All passengers, including transfer passengers, need to show a negative test result from a PCR test (Polymerase Chain Reaction) or LAMP (Loop Mediated Isothermal Amplification) test in English, French, German, Spanish or Dutch, upon arrival in the Netherlands that is no older than 72 hours.
Next to this mandatory PCR test, all passengers arriving in the Netherlands from a high-risk country must take a Rapid Antigen test within 4 hours prior to departure.
Tests approved as pre-departure test are:
1. Antigen test
2. *RT-LAMP test
3. Molecular (rapid) tests
4. NAAT test
5. TMA test
6. ID Now
*Exemption to the above entry requirement
In the event the *RT-LAMP test is taken within 4 hours prior to departure, it replaces the initial prior to departure 72 hours valid PCR or RT-LAMP test. You do not need an additional rapid antigen-test.
However, for all other pre-departure Rapid tests the requirement of having a PCR or RT-LAMP test no older than 72 hours upon arrival, remains to be in effect.
When is it not necessary to show a PCR test result?
• If the passenger is up to 12 years old
• If the passenger comes from one of the “safe” countries
• See the full list of exemptions

Meet the local travel requirements
If you're departing from outside the EU or Schengen area, you also need to show a printed and signed negative test declaration.
The ten-day self-quarantine still applies upon arrival in the Netherlands.
You also might need to bring additional travel documents or medical certificates to enter the country you are travelling to or transferring in. We cannot allow you to board your flight if you do not comply with the local entry requirements. Please check what applies to your trip. Make sure to check this regularly. Local requirements are subject to last-minute changes, due to the uncertain situation we’re currently in.

1st Option – Gift Card: You will be placed on our priority list. The gift card will give you priority booking which will guarantee you a booking even on sold out dates (bookings must be booked at least two months in advance). Gift cards will have no expiration date. Gift Cards will honor price of current pricing, prices will be increased by $10.00 per person beginning 2021. Gift cards will arrive via email.

2nd Option – Rebook: Rebook your reservation from July 2020 thru Dec 2021. At no additional cost, we will honor the price you paid this year if you choose to book for next year. Prices will increase by $10.00 per person on January 1, 2021. If you choose to rebook your reservation, you are not guaranteed the date and time of rebooking if the date and time of your choosing is sold out.

3rd Option – Full Refund: Please note that refunds may take up to 30 days due to the high volume of refund requests.

The gift card will give you priority booking which will guarantee you a booking even on sold out dates (bookings must be booked at least two months in advance). Airbnb changes cancellation policy due to coronavirus outbreak

COVID-19 has a massive impact on whole travel industry. Today Airbnb announced a new policy – “Flexible Reservations in Times of Uncertainty”

Millions of travelers are still booking business trips, getaways and other places to stay, but with new cases being confirmed each day, countries start enforcing quarantine and setting new rules for arriving foreginers. This situation might be confusing and makes people uncertain about safety of their travel. That’s why Airbnb decided to adjust their cancellation policy and simplify the rules for those who might need it.

Free of charge cancellation is possible for guests traveling to or from regions that have been severely affected by virus.

Free of charge cancellation policy includes:
– Guests who are travelling to or from severely affected areas (for a list of areas affected and covered by this policy, check below)
– Hosts who are hosting in or welcoming guests from severely affected areas (for a list of areas affected and covered by this policy, check below)
– Anyone who can’t complete their trip due to official travel restrictions, medical or disease control duties, flight or ground transport cancellation initiated by the provider due to COVID-19, or suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19

The rules apply to following regions:
For guests with reservations in mainland China
– If you’re travelling within mainland China, the extenuating circumstances policy applies to any reservations booked on or before 28 January 2020, with check-in date of 1 April 2020 or earlier.
– If you’re travelling to mainland China from anywhere outside of mainland China, the extenuating circumstances policy applies to reservations booked on or before 1 February 2020, with check-in date of 1 April 2020 or earlier.

For guests with reservations in Italy
– If you’re travelling to or within Italy, the extenuating circumstances policy applies to reservations booked on or before 29 February 2020, with check-in date of 3 April 2020 or earlier

For guests with reservations in South Korea
– If you’re travelling to or within South Korea, the extenuating circumstances policy applies to reservations booked on or before 25 February 2020, with check-in date of 23 March 2020 or earlier.

For severe and unforeseen conditions, you may be eligible for an “extenuating circumstances” cancellation, which provides guests a 100% refund. You’ll find more information about criteria for this type of cancellation here.

Global scenarios for hosts or guests who must change or cancel travel, requiring documentation:
– In order to comply with disease control restrictions implemented by relevant governmental or health authorities
– In order to perform medical or disease control duties in connection with the COVID-19 outbreak;
– As a result of flight or ground transportation cancellations initiated by an airline or ground transportation provider due to the COVID-19 outbreak;
– In the event that they are diagnosed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 by a medical or health authority.

For all other bookings made now through June 1, 2020, if guests need to cancel and are not due a refund of the Airbnb guest service fee, the service will refund that fee as a travel coupon which can be used on a future trip.

If you’re traveling from a region with many virus cases, you...

...bump up by 5 RMB each time.
6) Sports Shoes (e.g. Nike) – Initial offer – 300 – 400 RMB. You pay: 100 RMB. If the shoes are fancy and have quality soles and decoration, the cost may bump up to 100 RMB. 100 RMB should be able to get you any non-work shoes.
7) Dress Shoes (custom made) – Initial offer: 500 – 800 RMB. You pay: 150 RMB. If 150 RMB doesn’t work, go to the next stall and try 155 RMB. Keep this going until you get the lowest price. No matter what, you should never pay more than 200 RMB for a pair of shoes.
8) Uggs – Initial offer: 400 – 600 RMB. You pay: 110 RMB. No need to pay full price for your Uggs. 110 RMB should be a solid offer.
9) Calvin Klein boxer briefs – Initial offer: 20 – 50 RMB. You pay: 6 RMB. The offer may need to be bumped up 1 or 2 RMB, but never go over 10 RMB for these.
10) Socks – Initial price: 15 RMB / pair. You pay 5 RMB / pair. You may even be able to go lower based on how many socks you buy.
11) Top Quality Automatic Watches – Initial offer 500 – 2000 RMB. You pay: 120 – 250 RMB. To get the best quality watches, tell the vendor that you want better quality watches when he brings out the first batch of watches. When he brings out the second batch, ask again for better quality. If he can’t bring out better, you have the best quality of watches. You may want to leave this vendor to go to another to see if you can find even better quality watches. There is a lot of discussion over what the proper prices are for the top watches. Due to the heightened demand of fake watches with the influx of foreigners (thanks the the Expo), look to spend a bit more than you did last year. I was unfortunately unsuccessful during my attempts to get the best of the best a few weeks ago for under 200. This was partially due to the opening weekend of the Expo and partially due to the time of day/day of week/weather. When you shop for fake watches, make sure you read my guide on negotiation strategies in the fake market and read the comments below on fake watches. Shop to the best of your abilities and be happy with your purchase (just promise me that you won’t spend over 400 RMB, under any circumstances).
12) Woman’s Bag (e.g. Coach, LV) – Initial offer: 300 – 1000 RMB. You pay: 100 RMB. 100 RMB seems to be the sweet spot for bag prices. You may need to pay a bit more, but not much. Use 100 RMB as a starting point for even the best woman’s bags. Because you can find these bags at multiple stalls, don’t waiver from your 100 RMB price at the first stand. If they say no, walk out and try a slightly higher price at the next stand.
13) Leather Designer Belt – Initial offer: 80 – 150 RMB. You pay: 25 RMB. Depending on the fake market dealer, the quality of the belt, and the location of the store, you may need to pay a bit more. However, start at 25 RMB for the best of belts and go elsewhere if your offer isn’t accepted.
14) T-Shirts (e.g. Shanghai shirts, Billabong shirts) – Initial offer: around 100 RMB. You pay: 25 RMB. You likely would hesitate to pay 100 RMB for a plain shirt in your home country. Why pay it in China. 25 RMB is a fair price.
15) Northface Fleece Jacket – Initial offer: around 400 RMB. You pay: 150 RMB. You may be able to get a little lower depending on the time of day, quality, and location.
16) Laptop Bag – Initial offer: 300 – 700 RMB. You pay: 60 RMB. Even the best leather bags can be had for well under 100 RMB. Choose the best and offer 60 RMB. If...

Are There Any Prohibited Roads?

The following list is not comprehensive, but intended to give you an idea of what types of roads pose a challenge so that you can better plan your itinerary.
Due to the extremely poor condition of some roads and highways in Alaska and the Yukon, you will be contractually prohibited from operating the vehicle on the following roads:
 Alaska Highway – East of Jake’s Corner, Yukon Territory
 Campbell Highway - Carmacks to Watson Lake, YT
 Canol Road - Alaska Highway to NWT border
 Dalton Highway - Arctic Circle to Prudhoe Bay
 Dempster Highway - Dawson City to Inuvik
 McCarthy Road - Chitina to Kennicott
 Nabesna Road - Slana to Nabesna
 Hatcher Pass Road - Willow to Wasilla-Fishhook Road

The following are restricted roads. On these roads you may operate the motorhome under certain restrictions. You must not exceed 25 MPH and you must stop and check the tires every 10-15 miles to ensure you don't have a flat on one of the four rear tires.
 Dalton Highway - from Elliott Highway to Arctic Circle
 Denali Highway - Cantwell to Paxson
 Elliott Highway - Fairbanks to Manley Hot Springs
 Klondike Loop Highway - Chicken to Dawson City
 Steese Highway - Fairbanks to Circle
 Top of the World Highway - Dawson City to Chicken
 Taylor Highway - Tetlin Junction to Eagle

Espero que te ayude con tus dudas.
