Hola!!

Work and travel in Canada with International Experience Canada

E incluye tres programas distintos:

Nicola Sturgeon says she and Wales First Minister Mark Drakeford have written to Boris Johnson today calling for a tougher approach to travel restrictions.
It would see anyone arriving in the UK asked to isolate for eight days - taking tests on day two and day eight.
She says this would help identify cases of the Omicron variant and prevent further community transmission.
This view would be "sensible" and "on a precautionary basis", says Sturgeon.
Sturgeon and Drakeford want all four UK nations to work together on travel.

Noticia de hoy

Border measures extended to 15th of June
Quote::

has decided to extend the application of current government regulation on quarantine, isolation and testing at the border of Iceland in connection with COVID-19 until the coming 15th of June. By then, at least 60 percent of the population, equivalent to 75 percent of those who will be called in for vaccination, is expected to have at least received the first dose of vaccine. This takes view of the opinion of the Chief Epidemiologist that it is advisable to keep testing at the border unchanged for the time being in order to be able to start lifting the testing at the border around mid-June.

The amendment to the regulation will be made that on 1st of June the compulsory stay in a quarantine facility of travellers arriving from high-risk areas will cease to apply. This is because the incidence rate of infections at the border has been steadily decreasing since the compulsory stay in a quarantine facility took effect. The number of European countries on the list of high-risk areas has also decreased. The use of quarantine facilities will therefore be as it was previously, i.e. for individuals who are obliged to undergo quarantine and who have no place to go in Iceland or who are otherwise unable or unwilling to isolate in a facility they themselves have arranged for.

The regulation banning unnecessary travel from specified high-risk areas due to the COVID-19 pandemic issued by the Minister of Justice will cease to apply on 1 June.

In this morning´s cabinet meeting it was decided that the previously announced colour-coding system at the border will not take effect . This is done because the lifting of measures at the border is anticipated to go faster against all countries, regardless of the situation of the epidemic there, since the number of those vaccinated is increasing very rapidly. Under those circumstances there is no gain in introducing a colour-coding system for only a short period of time.

The goal is that rapid tests will be used increasingly instead of PCR-tests for those leaving the country, whether they are Icelanders travelling abroad or foreign tourists who have stayed in Iceland. The work on such an arrangement is underway in the Ministry of Health and the arrangement will be presented within a few days.

Who can and can’t travel to Spain from the UK starting 30th March?

Since Brexit, the UK is considered a non-EU country, therefore, according to the Orden INT/420/2021.
- British citizens (as 3rd country nationals) can't travel to Spain at the moment, in general terms.
- EU citizens and their relatives -including British ones-, can.

This is a temporary regulation which restricts 3rd country nationals entering Spain for public health reasons due to the COVID-19 health crisis.

Can a UK citizen married to a Spanish national travel to Spain from 30th March?
Yes, as long as they can show the relevant documents.

What about a baby born in the UK who only has a British passport and whose mother is Spanish?
Yes, as long as the relevant documents can be shown.

Are there any exceptions for non-EU citizens?
Yes, the Orden specifies exemptions allowing entrance in Spain for non-EU citizens (including British citizens) in the following cases:

a) residents of the EU, Schengen states, Andorra, the Vatican and San Marino who are travelling to their place of residence
B) long term Spanish visa holders
C) health care professionals and carers who travel for work
D) transport workers
E) diplomats, military and members of international organisations
F) students with permission or Spanish visas and medical insurance
G) highly qualified professionals in some justified cases
H) people who are travelling for essential and justified family matters
I) force majeure cases, necessary situations or humanitarian reasons
J) residents of countries not affected by the restrictions, in some cases (see anex of the Orden)

Bear in mind that British regulations also apply to citizens currently in the UK and, at the moment international travel is banned except in certain cases.

UPDATE! 11 June 2020. The Belarusian Healthcare Ministry has updated the list of countries where COVID-19 infection cases are being registered. Taking into account the evolving epidemic situation and the measures being taken, the list no longer includes Austria, Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Czechia, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, and China. People coming from these countries do not have to stay in self-isolation for 14 days upon arrival in Belarus.

Foreign citizens, who cross the Belarusian border, are required to produce a negative result of a PCR-based COVID-19 test, which was made not later than 48 hours before the date of border crossing.

At the same time, the self-isolation requirement does not extend to foreign nationals returning home in transit via Belarus. Exemptions are also made for people who need to travel a lot for work.

Breaking News: Australia is closing its borders imminently, for up to 6-months.

In a major escalation of the Coronavirus crisis, Australia has decided to halt all travel to the nation.

Only Australian citizens and permanent residents can come into the country from 9PM Friday the 20th March 2020.

The government has said the lockdown of Australia will last at least 6-months.

“The prime minister said this will go for six months or more and they won’t be lifted until it is safe to do so, until we are on the other side of this very, very challenging period.” the Australian Treasurer said on radio.

Australia is closing its borders to all foreigners after hundreds of cases were recorded, almost all from overseas transmission into Australia.

Australia is set to hit 1,000 cases today if the rate of infection continues as it has been this week.

All non-Australian residents would be barred from entering the country from 9pm (1000 GMT) on Friday. Today.

“For the next six months we need to work together,” Morrison told Australians in a televised news conference. “We do need to moderate our behaviour and understand things need to change.”

The move comes just a day after Australia said nationals should not travel overseas and should return home.

Australians are now stranded overseas after coronavirus closed borders, slashed flights and prompted nationwide lockdowns have said they feel abandoned as they struggle to make their way home.

Many airlines are facing the loss of business, with Qantas and Virgin Australia halting all overseas flights.

Australians overseas are spending thousands to come home as soon as possible, before airlines stop flying into Australia tonight.

He estado buscando y no he visto nada oficial.

Trist

In light of the rapid spread of the virus across Europe, the Ministry of Health (MOH) advises Singaporeans to defer all non-essential travel to Italy, France, Spain and Germany. In addition, our existing advisory to defer all travel to Hubei province in mainland China, and non-essential travel to the rest of mainland China, Iran, Japan and the Republic of Korea, remains. …

Border restrictions

7. Given the increase in imported cases from European countries, we are putting in place new border restrictions.

a. From 15 March 2020, 23:59 hours, all new visitors with recent travel history to Italy, France, Spain and Germany within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore, or transit through Singapore.

b. From 15 March 2020, 2359 hours, the following groups will be issued with a Stay-Home Notice (SHN):

i. Residents (Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents) with recent travel history to Italy, France, Spain and Germany within the last 14 days; and

ii. Long-term pass holders (including work passes, Student’s Pass, Dependant’s Pass, and Long-term Visit Pass) with recent travel history to Italy, France, Spain and Germany within the last 14 days.

8. Persons under SHN will have to remain in their place of residence at all times for 14 days after returning to Singapore.

9. As previously announced, residents and long-term pass holders returning from mainland China (outside Hubei province2), Iran, and the Republic of Korea will continue to be issued a 14-day SHN upon return to Singapore.

10. All these border restrictions are temporary, and will be reviewed regularly based on the global situation.
