Hello, we are the family from Barcelona who traveled through the center and south of Sri Lanka last year. This year, since we loved it so much, we decided to return and this time explored the northern region, Jaffna and its islands, but only for 7 days.
It was truly spectacular, and as always, Mahesh provided us with exceptional service. From picking us up at the airport to the itinerary he planned, the monuments, attractions—everything was amazing.
If anyone wants to ask us about our experience, I’m sharing my phone number so you can be sure of his services: 650 067 192.
Keep in mind that organizing this trip ourselves, rather than through a travel agency in Catalonia, allowed us to save a lot of money.
English:
Sohan was our driver during our two-week trip to India, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We contacted Sonu, who organized the service and assigned Sohan as our driver, and everything was perfect from the start. We loved how calm and composed Sohan was, especially since Indians are generally louder. Every time we got into the car, it felt like stepping into an oasis of peace amidst the chaos of India, and that made a huge difference during our trip.
Sohan is an extremely professional and safe driver, which allowed us to relax even in the chaotic traffic typical of the country. His level of English is very good, making communication easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the car was always spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with air conditioning, which we deeply appreciated given the heat. Sohan also ensured we always had cold water available and even provided us with a SIM card for our trip, which was incredibly helpful for staying connected.
We also appreciated his local knowledge, as he always had great suggestions for places to visit, restaurants to try, or interesting shops. It’s true that at times he seemed a bit puzzled if we chose not to follow some of his recommendations, but we understood this is very common in Indian culture. In fact, compared to others we met, his attitude was always respectful, professional, and polite.
Additionally, Sohan was very punctual and flexible throughout the trip. Whether we had to change plans at the last minute or needed assistance with something, he was always willing to adapt. His calm nature and professional attitude made the entire journey much more comfortable and enjoyable for us.
In summary, we are extremely grateful to both Sohan and Sonur for the excellent experience they provided. Sohan is an exceptional driver who exceeded our expectations. We felt safe, well taken care of, and truly enjoyed every moment of the trip...
Textualmente pone “Validity: 10 years from last use”.
With a handful of exceptions, museums will be open from 9am-3pm and archaeological sites from 9am-4pm during Ramadan, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced.
The ministry noted that these hours are set to accommodate the holy month, allowing visitors to enjoy visiting museums and archaeological sites during fasting hours.
However, there are some exceptions.
The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria will remain open until 4pm.
Museums in Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada will be open from 10am-2pm, and from 8-11pm.
The Pyramids Plateau area and Salah El-Din Citadel will offer slightly extended hours, welcoming visitors from 8am to 4:30pm.
Meanwhile, archaeological sites in Luxor, Aswan, and Qena will operate as normal.
The ministry reminded prospective visitors that ticket counters at all museums and archaeological sites will close one hour before the end of visiting hours. [...]
Last week, the Ministry of Transport announced an hour-long extension to the operating hours of the Cairo Metro and the Light Rail Transit (LRT) during the holy month of Ramadan. With this extension, the three lines of the Cairo Metro will operate until 1:00 am, and the LRT until 12:00 am.
Furthermore, shops, restaurants, malls, coffee shops, and bazaars are permitted to stay open until 2:00 am during Ramadan, whereas they typically close at 10:00 pm on weekdays.
However, restaurants and coffee shops will still provide takeaway services and home deliveries round the clock. Supermarkets, grocery stores, and bakeries are not subject to any restrictions on their opening and closing times.

Hello, my name is Girdhar, and I have been working as a tour guide in India for the last 8 years. I also run a travel agency that provides a wide range of ground travel services in India. Our services include hotel bookings, car rentals, tour guides, train and flight ticket bookings, as well as planning itineraries for various routes across India.
We are primarily based in Rajasthan but cover many popular destinations in North India, including Delhi, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho, Varanasi, Jaipur, Pushkar, Ranthambore Wildlife Tour, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ranakpur, Bundi, Osiyan, Jaisalmer, Sam Village in Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Mandawa, Navalgarh, Amritsar (Golden Sikh Temple), Rishikesh, Mumbai, and Goa.
All the mentioned destinations are well-known tourist spots, and you can reach out to us for any tour program or information about these cities.
In order to purchase tickets online for the archaeological site of the Acropolis and its Slopes visit the official e-ticketing service of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports at www.etickets.tap.gr

Gracias!

...his job because he loves it, but also to provide for a family with 2 young daughters. I could see that even though they live in a very humble place, Avi offered me everything I needed. He borrowed me one of his backpacks for the trekk and also told me he would take a hat, gloves, telescopic poles and a sleeping bag that he would carry for me in case I need it. After claryifying the details, he took me to a local place for lunch, where we also met another girl looking for a trekking. Again, Avi was super kind to her and eventhough taking one more person meant more money for him, he talked to me and let me decide if we would take her or not with us. I thought 3 would be better and it would mean more money for Avi, who after Covid struggled to keep his family and house fine. Avi also helped her a lot to find the materials she needed for the trekk and even borrow and carry most of them.
Once in the trekk, Avi is not just a guide, he is a friend. But obviously he knows a lot about the area. We did the Annapurna circuit and as he promised from the beginning, every time he could find us free or cheaper accomodation/food he did it. He also help us constantly to get what we wanted and to feel as much comfortable as possible. For the first days, he shared with us some cucumbers with himalayan salt that he bought in Kathmandu. He was also always there to offer his food in case we were still hungry. And even with the other girl, he stayed for the whole time next to her, walking at her pace and supporting her since she was struggling to accomplish the trekk. He was really supportive with her and even when she decided to quit for health reasons, he helped her organising her transport back down, getting her the best service and the best price (I was there when he was bargaining for the price).
The last part of the trekk we did it alone the 2 of us. I cant be happier of having completed the Annapurna circuit with a friend like Avi. With him I felt safe and that I could always trust him. After we finished, I saw how other tourists had many problems regarding altitude sickness. However, Avi took me through the right steps and together we managed to pass by 5416m without any symptom.
The last days after the pass he stayed with me and some friends we made along the way, helping us finding the best deal for accomodation and the best option for transport (it is pretty bad the situation in the rainy season). There was not a single person of the ones that stayed with us that didnt love Avi and that didnt tell me how lucky I was of having him. He can really charm anyone, its amazing.
But really, if you are thinking of going to Nepal and trekk around the country, just contact Avi. You will inmediately realised that he cares about the person and not about the money, and you will be helping, not only him to pay his debts from Covid, but also yourself, getting for you the best possible guide you can have.
If I ever go back to Nepal, I have no doubt I will visit my friend Avi! The same way he knows he has a place to stay wherever I am!
Dhanyavaad amigo!!

Dear visitor,
In preparation for the 2023 season, our service provider is in the process of moving the Parks Canada Reservation Service to a more current platform. This transition will lead to some changes in the way reservations for the day-use shuttle to Lake O’Hara are made. You are receiving this message because you made at least one application to Parks Canada’s random draw system for Lake O’Hara day-use shuttle reservations in the last three years.
The Parks Canada Reservation Service uses an older version of reservation software. This platform is now becoming out of date and our service provider is moving the Parks Canada Reservation Service to a more current platform.
Due to the changes to the system, reservations for the Lake O’Hara day-use shuttle will not be done in the same way as they have been the last few years and there will not be a random draw this year. Parks Canada is working very hard to ensure that the random draw for Lake O’Hara will return for 2024.
This year, reservations for the Lake O’Hara day-use bus will launch at 8:00 a.m. MT on April 12, 2023. The virtual queue system Parks Canada uses for other busy launch days will be in place. This system acts as a randomizer for everyone logged into the reservation system prior to 8 a.m. mountain standard time on April 12th. This randomizer will help ensure equitable access to the reservation service for everyone.
Like other years, the available seats on the day-use shuttle are extremely limited and demand is extremely high. Visitors are encouraged to research the system ahead of time and be prepared for this change
There is no change to the process for Lake O’Hara overnight camping reservations. Reservations for overnight camping at Lake O’Hara will launch on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
Please be advised: Once the Parks Canada Reservation Service has been moved to the new platform, users with an existing account will need to create a new user account in order to make reservations. New accounts can be created starting on March 3, 2023.
A Fact Sheet with important dates and instructions on how to set up your new account is attached to this e-mail.
Parks Canada understands the opportunity to visit Lake O’Hara is important to many of our visitors. We are working hard to ensure this change and your booking experience are as smooth as possible.
If you have any questions, please contact Parks Canada at 1-888-773-8888 (General Inquiries).
Sincerely,
Parks Canada Campground Reservations Team
Venga, voy a poner aquí dos sitios a los que he ido y que me dejaron con el culo torcido;
-Kevok Ocakbasi (Beyoglu) .
-Last Ottoman (Sultanahmed).

I wish to inform on how seriously frustrated and disappointed I am about my recent experience with Klass Wagen.
I did make a reservation for 9 días; 1st of May till the 9th of May under OTP-520114228711 booking reference for Jose Manuel Mariño in Bucarest Otopeni airport.
From the first moment my family and myself did arrive to the main offices, located near the airport, we were almost forced to select a FULL insurance package, with an extra cost of 166€ in total, when I did already have one with Economy car rental , from which I was making the car reservation. At the beginning the conversations and treat from Klass Wagen partners in the office was correct, until we reach the moment to discuss the FULL insurance package. From Klass Wagen staff we did receive different alert notifications with images warning examples, on what could happen if I was not selecting this option. (500€ extra penalty for small scratches). Klass Wagen staff wanted really to scare us. From the moment we did informed that we were not interested in this option the attitude from Klass Wagen partners to my family and myself change drastically, in which we still had some last warning alerts forcing me to select this FULL insurance package, (that we have never experienced in any rental car provider before).
So we didn´t select this FULL insurance package even do the alert messages from Klass wagen staff as we had already had one, and as the cost was super high. In this moment, the Klass Wagen staff did inform that we needed to make pictures all over the car, being this the first time on my whole life I am requested to do this, and honestly, we have been renting cars from a long time. We did make lots of pictures from the areas of the outside & inside car while we were checking the car with Klass wagen staff. After a long process that my family and myself had to suffered, in which we found 50 scratches, my family and myself we were able to leave the office.
Then yesterday, 9th of May when we did return the car back, we needed before returning the same, to clean the same from the inside and outside from a professional place as requested by Klass Wagen with warning advises if we were not doing this. Again, this is something that is the first time my family and myself have been requested, to look for a Car wash place in a country is not ours and that you are visiting on holidays.
After checking again ALL the mention previously 50 scratches + new possible ones, Klass Wagen staff informed to my family and myself that there was a new one that was not reported when the booking started. Klass Wagen staff requested to us if we did had an image on that area, unfortunately we didn´t had no picture from that specific area, (from the 60 pictures we did made, we were not having anyone from that specific area, as is impossible to make pictures of ALL inside & outside areas of car as you can imagine! Anyhow the scratch in concrete was super thin, not even done with a tree leaf as I can show on the below image. I have to say that there were other scratches on the car that Klass Wagen staff didn´t included on the initial contract that were the same as this one! Klass Wagen staff informed that was not possible to add ALL mini & tiny scratches around the car as there were thousands for real!
Having said this, Klass Wagen staff after discussing for a long time include this new area as a scratch, as we were not having an image on that specific... Leer más ...
