"We brought in the head of our COVID team, because the Chancellor brought that subject up. Listen, the process of how soon we can lift the ban is in process now, and I will be able to answer that question to you within the next several days, what is likely to happen. I am waiting to hear from our folks, our COVID team, as to when that should be done.

From walking on a picturesque sandy beaches, to hiking in between the great canyons in the star valley, Qeshm island is a must see island, which has more to offer than meets the eye,

Qeshm Island is ideally located in south of Iran, close to Bandar Abbas, one of Iran’s famous sea port and benefits from a large amount of hours of sun per year, so it makes it an ideal place to travel to all year round.

The dolphin shape island, allows you to enjoy being entertained by the friendly dolphins and the underwater world in either one of their shows or even meeting up-close while you’re having a dip in one of the turquoise seas around this amazing island.

Iran might be famous for its Kish island as one of the most sought after touristic destinations, but Qeshm is truly one of the hidden gems of Iran, which offer a variety of entertainment, landscapes, beaches, cuisines and fun activity for all tastes; So wherever you travel in Qeshm, you’ll find it has rich tales to share; history, and a lot of legends.

Wake up in paradise

The stunning landscapes and friendly locals are with their colorful Traditional regional clothes will make you feel welcome from the first impression.

People and places

Meet friendly people and listen to the traditional music while. Hiking around the Islands and Diving in Persian Gulf.

Qeshm has strong trade and cultural ties to India and Pakistan, and you can taste some of the cultural exchange in the more spice oriented cuisine compared to the rest of Iran.

However, they truly know themselves to be Iranian first and foremost, and the rest of the food is prepared the traditional Iranian way.

Discover Hara Marine forests (Mangrove jungle)

It is said around 1.5% of world’s birds and 25% of Iran’s native birds can be found in this beautiful Mangrove tree forests. Depending on the time of your visit, you can go about on the waterways during the high tides and enjoy the beautiful mangroves. This forest is mainly used for fishing, tourist boats, and a small amount of leaf-cutting for livestock feed. Sea turtles, crabs, shrimp, snakes, herons, cranes, and pelicans are among the animals that call this forest home.
For booking an Iran hotel [edited by moderator] would be my recommondation.

Portuguese Fortress

Portuguese Castle is one of the remaining architectures left behind from the time of the Portuguese occupancy of the island in the 16th century to maintain control over the Strait of Hormoz, some locals believe the name for some Islands around Qeshm and Hormoz originated from Portuguese roots with the mean of “good economy Island”.

Hengam Island

Full of tropical fishes, variety of dolphin involved activities. Enjoy the fascinating rock formations and a mixture of glistening black sand over beige sand make it a little bit more heavenly. The roaming Gazelle which obtain their drinking water from pressing their hooves into the ground populate this beautiful island in the Persian Gulf.

Bandar Laft

Many ancient Persian architectural structure, wind catchers, ventilation system (badger) and ancient water reservoirs (Ab Anbar) still exist and are still used by locals today.

This fishing town is located on the fin of Qeshm Island and is known for its many stone drilled wells called (Talla Wells) with a unique name for each one, according to the days in a leap year, and still used and remembered by the locals. 100 of these wells still remain to date and can be...

GLM HOUSES ALGHERO:

He replies "ok without problems".
2 ° Send us a later email saying: notify half an hour before arriving. Unfortunately without battery, we couldn't read or respond. Even so, in that email he never warns about the time (having had good intention would have warned of the risk if we spent 6 minutes of the time advised)
3) ATTENTION TO THE EXACT HOURS: It is also worth mentioning that the houses do not have a sign or anything that detects them at first...

DISCUSION SOBRE EL HURACAN IRMA NUMERO 16
SNM CENTRO NACIONAL DE HURACANES MIAMI FL AL112017
TRADUCIDO POR EL SERVICIO NACIONAL DE METEOROLOGIA
SAN JUAN PR
500 AM AST DOMINGO 3 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2017

EL PATRON DE NUBOSIDAD DE IRMA HA MEJORADO LEVEMENTE DURANTE LA
NOCHE. TOPES DE NUBES BASTANTE FRIOS CIRCULAN COMPLETAMENTE EL OJO,
EL CUAL SE OBSERVA CON TEMPERATURAS MAS CALIDAS Y UN POCO MAS
DESPEJADO EN IMAGENES INFRAROJAS DE SATELITE. LA INTENSIDAD INICIAL
HA AUMENTADO A 100 NUDOS BASADO EN LA COMBINACION DE LOS ESTIMADOS
SUBJETIVOS Y OBJETIVOS RECIENTES DE DVORAK.

IRMA HA PERDIDO LATITUD DESDE AYER DEBIDO A UNA ALTA PRESION FUERTE
AL NORTE DEL SISTEMA, Y EL MOVIMIENTO INICIAL ES AHORA HACIA EL
OESTE-SUROESTE, O 255/13 NUDOS. ES PROBABLE QUE EL HURACAN CONTINUE
MVIENDOSE EN ESTA TRAYECTORIA DURANTE LAS PROXIMAS 36 HORAS, LO CUAL
ESTARA SEGUIDO POR UN GIRO GRADUAL HACIA EL OESTE Y LUEGO HACIA EL
OESTE-NOROESTE ENTRE LOS DIAS 3 Y 5 CUANDO ALCANCE EL EXTREMO OESTE
DE LA ALTA PRESION. EL NUEVO PRONOSTICO DE TRAYECTORIA DEL CNH ES
BASTANTE SIMILAR A LA TRAYECTORIA PREVIA DURANTE LAS PRIMERAS 48
HORAS, MOSTRANDO A IRMA ALCANZANDO COMO EXTREMO LA LATITUD 16.5
NORTE. SIN EMBARGO, LA GUIA DE TRAYECTORIA HA CAMBIADO HACIA EL
OESTE DESPUES DE LAS 48 HORAS, RETRASANDO EL GIRO HACIA EL OESTE-
NOROESTE, LO QUE REQUIERE UN AJUSTE CORRESPONDIENTE AL PRONOSTICO
OFICIAL HACIA EL OESTE HACIA EL CONSENSO DE LOS MULTI-MODELOS PARA
FINALES DEL PERIODO DE PRONOSTICO. SE DEBE MENCIONAR QUE EL
PRONOSTICO OFICIAL AUN RECAE AL ESTE DE ALGUNOS MODELOS CON MEJOR
DESEMPENO, TAL COMO EL ECMWF, HWRF, Y HCCA, POR LO QUE AJUSTES
ADICIONALES SON POSIBLES EN ADVERTENCIAS SUBSIGUIENTES.

EL AMBIENTE ANTES DE IRMA APARECE CONDUCENTE PARA UN FORTALECIMIENTO
GRADUAL HASTA POR LO MENOS LOS PROXIMOS 2 A 3 DIAS, CON UN AUMENTO
EN LAS TEMPERATURAS DE LA SUPERFICIE DEL OCEANO Y AUMENTO EN LA
HUMEDAD EN LOS NIVELES MEDIOS DE LA ATMOSFERA. AUN SE PUDIERA
OBSERVAR FLUCTUACIONES EN LA INTENSIDAD, PERO EN GENERAL, LA GUIA DE
MODELOS PARECE SUGERIR UN PATRON GENERAL EN AUMENTO ALCANZANDO
INTENSIDAD MAXIMA POSIBLEMENTE OCURRIENDO CERCA DEL DIA 3. ESTE TIPO
DE INTENSIFICACION DEBERA COINCIDIR CON EL MOMENTO EN QUE IRMA SE
MUEVA HACIA EL OESTE-SUROESTE A OESTE, UN PATRON QUE SE HA OBSERVADO
EN OTROS HURACANES CON MOVIMIENTO HACIA EL OESTE-SUROESTE EN EL
PASADO (POR EJEMPLO, KATRINA, JOAQUIN, FERNANDA, ETC.). EL
PRONOSTICO DE INTENSIDAD DEL CNH AUMENTO LIGERAMENTE, MOSTRANDO LA
INTENSIDAD MAXIMA EL DIA 3, Y ES GRANDEMENTE UNA COMBINACION DEL
CONSENSO DE INTENSIDAD DE ICOM Y HCCA.

MIENTRAS IRMA ES ACTUALMENTE UN HURACAN PEQUENO, LA GUIA DE TAMANO
SUGIERE QUE EL MISMO DEBERA CRECER EN TAMANO DURANTE LAS PROXIMAS 72
HORAS. ESTO AFECTARA EL HORARIO EN QUE VIGILANCIAS PUDIERAN SER
EMITIDAS PARA PORCIONES DE LAS ISLAS DE SOTAVENTO E ISLAS VIRGENES,
Y LOS INTERESES EN ESTAS ISLAS DEBERAN CONTINUAR MONITOREANDO EL
PROGRESO DE IRMA.

MENSAJES CLAVES:

1. SE ESPERA QUE IRMA SEA CON HURACAN INTENSO CUANDO SE APROXIME A
LAS ANTILLAS MENORES TEMPRANO LA SEMANA PROXIMA, PRODUCIENDO RESACAS
FUERTES Y CORRIENTES MARINAS. IRMA TAMBIEN PODRIA CAUSAR VIENTOS
PELIGROSOS, MAREJADA CICLONICA, E IMPACTOS DE LLUVIA EN ALGUNAS
ISLAS, AUNQUE ES MUY PRONTO PARA ESPECIFICAR DONDE Y CUANDO ESTOS
PELIGROS PODRAN OCURRIR.

Hola a tod@s!!!

Realmente no te perderias mucho.

Perdona!

Apply for a Medical Internship in Nakuru, Kenya

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) offers a unique Volunteer Internship position at our Nakuru, Kenya children’s home for medical and nursing students. Together with your help, we aim to improve health awareness among our children, their families and our local community.

This position offers the opportunity to gain health-related experience in a low income setting to enhance your CV and set you apart from your peers. You will develop skills related to health promotion and community education, and will practice hands-on application of your medical skills by directly treating minor health problems of the children. You will also learn intimately about the international issues of education, human rights, abuse and poverty as well as local issues such as indigenous rights, land tenure, and ethnic conflicts.

Most importantly, you will be substantially helping those who do not otherwise have the means to access quality and affordable healthcare. By passing on your knowledge to local leaders, your efforts will result in sustainable, long-term changes. You may even have the opportunity to develop and run your own health program – this can be focused around any specific interests you have in your current studies relevant to the center’s needs.

For your international tasks you will be assigned teams made up of volunteers from other centers, and you will work on administrative tasks not just for the Nakuru center, but for the whole organization. Your tasks may include producing media content, assisting with fundraising efforts and generating online outreach efforts to promote our organization’s goals and projects. We will particularize your tasks to suit your skill set, so that your expertise in health care benefits all IHF centers. This is a great opportunity to experience the overall management of an international organization and receive training in a multi-level, multifaceted work environment. Before arrival at the center, you will already become a part of the team by completing pre-trip tasks with our international teams to gain an understanding of the kind of work you will be doing.

Candidate Qualifications: You must be fluent in written and spoken English. We prefer candidates who have completed at least the first year of a medical degree or have a basic qualification as a Registered or Community Nurse (newly qualified graduates are welcome). We are looking for people who know basic first aid – a St John’s Ambulance certificate would be desirable— and hold a current Criminal Records Bureau certificate (UK) or International Police Safety Clearance. Experience working or volunteering with children is a major plus.

IHF is run entirely by volunteers, including center co-Directors, fostering a unique work setting. The co-directors at the center will supervise you, listen to your ideas and acknowledge your contributions. Our organization will work with your university to award you credit whenever possible and will try to comply with any guidelines to secure grant or scholarship funding available at your university. Each IHF center is a product of its environment and follows the cultural code and norms of its host country. So must our staff and interns.

The minimum length of an internship is 4 weeks. We provide basic accommodation and food at our centers, where you will live with your co-workers. Unfortunately, as a nonprofit, we are unable to provide these...

Dear Lowcostholidays,
Me and my boyfriend wanted to enjoy some days together in a beautiful island. As we are a student and a young worker, we were searching for cheap holidays. Through the internet, we found your agency and were very pleased in the great proposals you offer. We booked a hotel together with a flight on the 21st of July (see attached PDF file). We introduced the credit card data (VISA Credit Card) and everything seemed to work out fine.

The day after, on the 22nd of July, we received an email saying that something went wrong with the reservations. We were firstly surprised to see that what was supposed to be a "customised" email contained sentences like: "Thank you for choosing lowcostholidays for your next holidays to xxxxxxxxxxx". It is not nice to receive generic emails from the agency in which you have relied giving nearly half of the salary of the month, but we thought it was not so important. Following this sentence, it came another one saying "After having left a voice message in your voice mailbox, we contact you to make you aware that the flights that you have chosen have not completed their booking process". There comes the second surprise, as there was no voice message at all in our inbox. In fact, there was no sign that you had tried to contact us - not even a missed call. But OK, we were so excited about the great plans that you offered that we decided to carry on and contact you in order to get everything solved as soon as possible. So we did it.
At 9:14 CET we try to reach you for the first time through your 902 telephone service, which was the one indicated in your email. Let us highlight that 902 calls are not covered by flat rates and have their own special tariff. After 3 minutes on hold, we decided to hang up the call and try again later on. At 9:20 CET we tried again on the same line with a 6 minutes call. Your agent Margarita kindly responded us and informed us that the flight booking had not successfully finished as the prices had increased in the last minute by 74 €. There comes the first disappointment: how can this happen? We supposed that when we clicked the "Buy" button and providing our credit card data we were accepting to buy something at certain conditions. It looked that it was not like that - but it was definitely not our fault!

As we needed to think about it, we said to Margarita that we would call later to confirm that we wanted to go ahead with the reservation with the extra-cost.
At 11:01 CET we receive a call from an English phone number (+44 prefix) from a spanish speaking man who does not identify himself with his name (afterwards we would realize that his name was likely Peter). Let us highlight again that receiving phone calls from England implies an extra cost when these calls are received by a spanish phone provider. We thought "let's try to get this solved as quickly as possible as these calls are going to be really expensive". During this 10 minutes call, your colleague informs us that the flights price has increased by something over 100 €. We kindly explain to him that this was not possible as his colleague Margarita had previously informed that the total price of the reservation had increased by 74 €. He put our call on hold and after some minutes he confirmed to us...
