5 Water of KERALA: situated in the South Indian state with a long Arabian Sea coastline and a mountainous interior, it is one of the most popular tourist regions of India. Tropical beaches and a relaxed vibe are the main attractions. But Kerala has so much more to offer in terms of culture and geography, including the famous Backwaters, the old port town of Kochi, the tea plantations of Munnar, the Ayurvedic resorts and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, just to name a few. I fell in love with Kerala on my first visit, Kerala makes for a great place to be considered in your journeys in Incredible India.

I am travelling to Armenia from November the 14th till November the 21st, and I have booked 2 tours from Yerevan to visit most of the greatest monuments in Armenia in November the 15th and the 16th. They are organised by Envoy, a hostel in Yerevan.
The thing is that a minimum of 5 people have to sign up for these tours, so given that I booked them for 2 people, at least 3 more people should sign up for them or they will be cancelled.
Clicking on the links below, you guys will see the tours details. They include the transportation and the entrance to all the monuments.
It is not necessary to book on the website (of course you can do it if you want), I emailed the hostel staff and they told that it is also possible to book them just sending them an email with the details to the folloing address:
bookings@envoyhostel.com
They said that these tours could be paid right before they start and that if less than 5 people signed up two or three days before, they would email the people who booked them (then no surprises would arise the same day).
If someone is interested, please let me know, we are looking forward to meeting new people during these tours!!
Thank you guys!
Edit: I contacted Hyur Service, they organise private tours during the low season, so if someone is interested, please have a look at their website and contact me so we could travel together
Gracias!!

Good morning everyone, I introduce myself because I am new to this forum .
My name is John , I'm from Málaga, my main hobby is traveling and meeting new people. I currently have relationship with many foreigners who come to spend a vacation to Malaga and I've noticed that most of them come without basic information on what to do, visit, shop or see in my city, I began to investigate and I found a application very useful and easy to use mobile for Malaga most importantly if you have little time for it. I have personally tried the guide like a tourist that comes to town , also tried with a foreigner and I can say that it is extremely easy and above all you do not need to have internet connection , so that everyone can use at no cost.
I leave links for both android and for Apple, and I probadla and contais me.

My boyfriend and I also used this guide whilst we were out in Nepal – we were recommended by a friend who used him when she did Everest Base Camp. We decided to do the Annapurna Circuit plus base camp.
We met with Sanjib in Kathmandu when we arrived in Nepal and we told him what we wanted to do and how much time we had etc. He told us about a few trips that were possible and we eventually came up with this one.
It was the most amazing trip and wouldn’t have been the same without him and Ram our porter (.
We spent 20 days trekking in November 2011 and Sanjib was able to answer all of our questions from the birds to the trees to the mountains and religion. It was a very cultural trek with so much history.
Some people say that it is possible to do the trek without a guide, which may be true but you miss so much when you are on your own and we learnt such a lot from Sanjib which meant that we understood so much more of Nepal when we visited different areas.
We paid all of our money to him up front, which we were dubious about at the start as we didn’t know him but I wouldn’t say that this was a problem at all.
He made sure we were happy and safe and had full bellies at all times and made sure that we knew everything about altitude sickness which we didn’t get in the end thanks to his slower pace higher up and aclimatisation walks. We also took Diamox, under his recommendation and we were both fine and only suffered a bit of tingling in our faces (a side effect of the drug)!
I would recommend Sanjib to ANYONE that was thinking about going trekking in Nepal, I would love to go back and visit him and do another trek with him when I have the time! There are so many guides out there that claim to do everything that he does but I wouldn’t choose anyone without a recommendation because you hear so many stories about dodgy guides and it would be so sad to lose your money and have a bad experience.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions and enjoy your trek!
Email to him-:sanjib-adhikari@hotmail.com. www.nepalguideinfo.com www.hikingtoeverest.comI am writing to highly recommend Sanjib Adhikari, He is licensed holder trekking guide in Nepal
so anyone reading this guide and porter recommending site . He had been a guide for more than 12 years and has vast knowledge of
all the trekking trails of Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan
Sanjib was recommended to me by a friend who used him 2 times. He is a fantastic guide. I term him an "all-in -one" package guide. I did the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna base camp and sanjib planned a perfect itinerary for me according to my budget and pace.
He is so well versed with the trekking trails of Nepal and... Leer más ...

For us (couple, 32 and 28 years old), India has always been a dream destination.
For a trip with an agency we did not have enough money.
So we searched for an alternative. In the net, we read, that many people travel in North India with a rented car plus driver. We also wanted this and found our driver Ranjeet Singh. With him, we booked a 16-day tour of Rajasthan.
We wrote to him, the places we would like to visit and he turned it into a completely styled tour and gave us also several hotel recommendations. Here Mr. Singh recognised very fast that we were not looking for five star hotels, but mid-range hotels.
We were always very satisfied with his choice.
The traffic on Indian roads is incredibly frightening, but Mr. Singh mastered every situation. We always felt completely safe. Mr. Singh is a talkative man, his English is excellent.
The guide we used only rarely. Also, we saw places, we nowhere found in the guidebook.
Mr. Singh has made our trip to an unforgettable experience. We would like to thank him here again warmly.
Sometimes he does not respond immediately, then this is the fact that he is currently on a tour.

Hello everybody! I'm planning to be in China either in November or December 2012. I'm planning to visit Bejing, the Yunnan region and - if the legislation changes permit me to - Tibet. Everything more or less in a month.
I would love some advice about whether it's better to go in November or December or if it doesn't make a big difference anyways. Also, I was wondering whether it's actually safe to travel around in China as a solo girl (I'm 24) or not.
Either way, I would like to find some travel companions, does anyone want to engage in an adventure in China? Maybe we could share our travel plans and try to coincide somewhere!
Besides being endowed with immense beauty, Kerala is also famous for its lovely and colorful festivals and customs. Festival season is the best time for a visit to Kerala. Besides Onam and Thrissur Pooram, the festivals that stand as attractions in Kerala are Vishu, Payippad Jelotsavam, Makaravillakku at Sabarimala etc.
Malayali New Year day is celebrated as Vishu. Viewing good things on this day is considered to be propitious and brings good fortune for the year round. The most important part of the festival is the preparation of the Kani, which is the lucky sight or gift, and this custom is being followed from many generations. A grantha or palm-leaf manuscript, a gold ornament, new cloth, flowers from the Konna tree, silver coins in a cup, a split coconut, cucumber, fruits like mango and jackfruit are arranged on a large dish made of bell metal. Two burning lamps add to the beauty of the Kani. Members of the family are taken blindfolded to the Kani and view it first thing in the morning. A feast is arranged for all the members of the house.
Payippad Jelotsavam festival has a religious significance and is held on the Prathista day ceremony of Haripad Subramanya temple. The festival starts from the Onam festival day and goes on for three days. On the first two days snake boat precessions are carried out and the third day is marked by snake boat races.
Makaravillakku at Sabarimala is the other major festival that attracts lakhs of devotees from all over South India. The presiding deity here is Lord Ayyappa also known as Dharma Sastha.
