Lo contrate todo con Gary de winwintravels como dicen más arriba. Fue hace ya 7 años pero tengo un gran recuerdo. Se encargó de todo y Super atento y muy bien de precio.
Luego le reservamos también la visita a las terrazas en taxi privado.

Alquilaremos una moto para visitar los alrededores, salvo el paseo entre Yangdi y Xingping, que eso habrá que hacerlo con alguna agencia, ya que en moto después la barca no te deja en el mismo punto.

Airport bus: después de la llegada de un avión al aeropuerto preparan un autobús aparcado justo en la salida del Arriving Hall. Este autobús os dejará en el Civil Aviation Mansion, justo delante de un hotel. Si queréis ir más al centro, habrá que coger un taxi. El autobús cuesta 20 yuanes.

Llegamos viernes por la noche y estaremos hasta el martes por la tarde, o sea, que tenemos unos 3 días y medio más o menos. Nuestra idea es ir un día a ver las terrazas de arroz, ver algo de Guilin y el resto dedicarlo a Yangshou. Siguiendo consejos del foro, he contactado con Gary de winwintravels y me propone:

1, Pick you up and take private car from your hotel in Guilin to Longsheng ( Longji ) rice terrace.
2, Visit Ping an Zhuang Minority Village to experience the local people life and culture: wooden house, wind rain bridge, long hair and so on.
3, Visit Ping an rice terrace, it is also known as Dragon Backbone rice terrace:
No: 1 Scenic Spot of Seven Stars Accopany the Moon, enjoy the perfect curves of the rice terrace.
Hike on rice terrace from No: 1 to No: 2 and enjoy the gorgeous views of rice terrace on the mountains.
No: 2 Scenic Spot of Nine Dragons and Fiver Tigers: hike on rice terrace and enjoy the gorgeous views of rice terrace on the mountains.
4, Take private car from rice terrace to Yangdi.

1, Biking from Hotel to Jima Echo Valley to enjoy the beautiful views and take wonderful photos of the reflection of montains.
It is a hiking path area, very good environment with good view, quiet and fresh air.
2, Biking to Yulong River and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Yulong River.
The newly built path along Yulong River is only for biking and hiking. The landscape is very good with beautiful reflection of the karst peaks on the river and flesh air: good for taking photos.
3, Do bamboo rafting along Yulong River from Shi e di Dock to Gongnong Bridge Dock, the tour is very relaxing and enjoyable.
4, Biking to and Enjoy the beautiful reflection views of the combination of Jinbao River, mountains and bamboos, biking back to hotel.
5, Biking to and walk up to the top of Moon Hill to see the beautiful views from the top of the hill.
6, Biking back to Hotel in Yangshuo along beautiful countryside road, during the way, see Camel Hill.
Day 3 Visit Bailixincun
Take private car to and visit Bai li xin cun. Bailixincun is a New and less spoiled area: off the beaten track .
1, See the real rural Chinese villages and local agriculture: kumquat orchards, pomeloes, chestnuts.
2, Enjoy Gorgeous mountain views: see the Buddha Hill, Snail Hill, Eagle Hill, Horse_face Hill. The mountain views looks like paintings: the colour changes from Dark to Light according to the distance from near to far.
3, Play the echoes against the hills at the Echoes Valley to get the Quick Echo; Slow Echo with scare, weak and long sound,
Look down at Li River from the mountains to enjoy the beautiful views of Li River and mountains.
4, Hike up to the top of Xianggong Shan Hill to enjoy the gorgeous of Li River and Mountains.
5, Enjoy Wulong Views: mountains, farming lands and villages
6, Take private car to Guilin.
La idea sería dormir en Guilin la primera noche ya que llegamos tarde, hacer la excursión a las terrazas de arroz al día siguiente y pasar las dos siguientes noches en Yangshou y la última noche pasarla otra vez en Guilin para dar un paseo allí por la mañana.

- ¿cómo veis la distribución de los días?
- el primer día nos propone hacer la visita a las terrazas y por la tarde el crucero por el río Li de Yangdi a Nine horse Hill Dock y de vuelta.. ¿no será demasiado para un solo día? ¿es necesario hacer el crucero de ida y vuelta? Mucha gente del foro recomienda hacerlo en balsa pero entiendo que lo que nos propone es el crucero ... Y además mucha gente por aquí recomienda Xinping y creo que con esta propuesta no lo vemos...
- el segundo día creo que lo podemos hacer por nuestra cuenta alquilando unas bicis y ahorramos algo de pasta...
- respecto al último día.. ¿alguien que lo haya hecho y nos diga si merece la pena?

Lo primero, Gary totalmente recomendable es un encanto de persona y el resto de su familia lo mismo. Hazle caso a sus consejos jejeje.
Segundo, creo que con lo del crucero se refiere a la balsita de bambu, no al barco grande a motor. De todas maneras confirmalo con el.
Tercero, disfruta de esa zona tan bonita de China, espectacular en todos los sentidos.

Hola a todos/as. ¿Sabes por dónde queda más o menos Jima Echo Valley? En algún blog también recomiendan pasarse por ahí pero no encuentro nada sobre su localización.

Me dicen desde una de las agencias que he consultado que el gobierno ha prohibido la subida a Laozhai Hill en Xinping por la muerte de un turista despeñado. Sabéis si es cierto? No encuentro ninguna información de eso. _________________ El árbol que cae en el bosque, si no es oido, como si no hubiera caido.

La vida allí es super barata. Mira hostels en Booking.com y déjate llevar por las puntuaciones. De caro, nada de nada.

Day 2: biking, Yulong River bamboo rafting, Moon Hill.
1, Biking from Hotel to Jima Echo Valley to enjoy the beautiful views and take wonderful photos of the reflection of montains.
It is a hiking path area, very good environment with good view, quiet and fresh air.
2, Biking to Yulong River and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Yulong River.
The newly built path along Yulong River is only for biking and hiking. The landscape is very good with beautiful reflection of the karst peaks on the river and flesh air: good for taking photos.
3, Do bamboo rafting along Yulong River from Shi e di Dock to Gongnong Bridge Dock, the tour is very relaxing and enjoyable.
4, Biking to and Enjoy the beautiful reflection views of the combination of Jinbao River, mountains and bamboos, biking back to hotel.
5, Biking to and walk up to the top of Moon Hill to see the beautiful views from the top of the hill.
6, Biking back to Hotel in Yangshuo along beautiful countryside road, during the way, see Camel Hill.
Day 3 Visit Bailixincun
Take private car to and visit Bai li xin cun. Bailixincun is a New and less spoiled area: off the beaten track .
1, See the real rural Chinese villages and local agriculture: kumquat orchards, pomeloes, chestnuts.
2, Enjoy Gorgeous mountain views: see the Buddha Hill, Snail Hill, Eagle Hill, Horse_face Hill. The mountain views looks like paintings: the colour changes from Dark to Light according to the distance from near to far.
3, Play the echoes against the hills at the Echoes Valley to get the Quick Echo; Slow Echo with scare, weak and long sound,
Look down at Li River from the mountains to enjoy the beautiful views of Li River and mountains.
4, Hike up to the top of Xianggong Shan Hill to enjoy the gorgeous of Li River and Mountains.
5, Enjoy Wulong Views: mountains, farming lands and villages
6, Take private car to Guilin.
La idea sería dormir en Guilin la primera noche ya que llegamos tarde, hacer la excursión a las terrazas de arroz al día siguiente y pasar las dos siguientes noches en Yangshou y la última noche pasarla otra vez en Guilin para dar un paseo allí por la mañana.
Estas son mis dudas...
- ¿cómo veis la distribución de los días?

Hola, os cuento lo que yo hice por si os puede aclarar algo, o tal vez os líe más.
Nosotros visitamos las terrazas de arroz de Dazhai pero hicimos noche allí. Si no disponéis de mucho tiempo yo contactaría con el hotel y seguro que os ofrece la excursión de ida y vuelta a las terrazas en el mismo día, calcular que dos horas se os van en el trayecto de ida y otras dos en el de vuelta, luego recogéis las maletas que previamente habréis dejado en el hotel y para la estación de autobuses para ir a Yangshuo, salen autobuses cada hora, la duración del trayecto es algo más de una hora, imagino que ya habrán terminado las obras en esta carretera.
Al día siguiente contratamos sólo transporte con Gary, el conductor nos llevó a Yangdi para coger la balsa a motor, nos dejó en Xingping, estuvimos callejeando por el pueblo, almorzamos y luego el conductor nos recogío para llevarnos de vuelta al hotel.
Por la tarde fuimos al espectáculo Li River Impressions, muy recomendable ver este espectáculo desde mi punto de vista, luego paseo por la calle del Oeste de Yangshuo y taxi para el hotel.
Al día siguiente contratamos también pero al igual que el día anterior sólo coche con conductor, en esta ocasión un coche más grande para poder meter las maletas, nosotros éramos cuatro, en este día hicimos el llamado "rafting" por el río Yulong, quitaros la idea de rafting tal y como nosotros lo entendemos, son unas balsas que aprovechan la corriente del río y das un paseo, la verdad que es una típica estampa de China, luego visitamos un pueblo que no recuerdo el nombre, algunas cosillas más y nos dejaron en Guilin pues teníamos que coger un tren por la tarde.
Si se contratan los servicios de Gary como guía pues lógicamente el precio se encarece, nosotros no contratamos sus servicios como guía pues mi inglés no da para mucho y hubiera sido una pérdida de dinero.

Depende de gustos , desde mi punto de vista Guilin no tiene mucho que ver en mi viaje paramos una noche en guilin por hacer noche y aprovechamos para ver las pagodas de la luna y el sol y para hacer al día siguiente el recorrido en crucero hasta yangshuo donde allí nos quedamos 4 noches ( desde yangshuoo hay buses hacia el aeropuerto a guilin) la gente que no se queda en yangshuo se tiene que volver en bus. Nosotros no fuimos a las terrazas puesto que por la época ya estaba recogido el arroz y está el paisaje pajizo ( aconsejo informarse) para mí Yangshuo merece mucho la pena por poco dinero alquilas moto o bicicleta y te pierdes en sus alrededores disfrutando de su naturaleza de Moon Hill y West road por la noche. Resumiendo merece la pena yangshuo disfrutar todo lo que se pueda. En principio teníamos la última noche en guilin y lo anule para quedarme en yangshuo .un saludo
Hola. En mi ruta por China, estaré unos 3 días y medio por la zona de Guilín (y medio porque la tarde del 4 partiré hacia Fenghuang). La cosa está en que había pensado pasar todas las noches en Guilín. Un día para Guilín, otro para ir a los arrozales y otro para hacer la excursión del río Li hasta Yangshuo. Y la última mañana sería para Guilín también.
Pero ahora tengo dudas si ese rato entre la llegada en el barco y la vuelta en bus será suficiente para Yangshuo. Ahora dudo en hacer una noche en Yangshuo. ¿Qué me recomendáis en este caso? ¿Yangshuo tiene mucho que ofrecer?

Para mi si comparamos Gillin con Yangshuo gana esta última por goleada. Es un pueblo con muchísmo encanto y muchas actividades para realizar. Echále un vistazo a este mismo hilo y obtendrás mucha información para hacerte una idea de lo que ofrece. Yo estaría en Gillin lo imprescindible y el resto en Yangshuo. Saludos

Para mi Yangshuo tiene todo. Pasamos 1 noche en guilin para la mañana siguiente hacer el río li y ya quedarnos en yangshuo 3 noches, la 4° volvíamos a guilin para tomar un avión al día siguiente pero finalmente nos quedamos la 4 en yangshuo desde donde salen también buses al aeropuerto de Guilin.
Aquí estamos intentando cuadrar la ruta para septiembre. Tenemos dudas sobre esta zona. Como podemos ir de Yangshuo a Fenghuang ? y de Fenghuang a Chengdu ?

Hola! ¿Recomendáis ir a Yanghsuo si ya hemos estado en el norte de Vietnam (Ninh Binh, sapa, halong...)?
Por las fotos que veo parecen paisajes parecidos, ¿no? Aunque también leo que a muchos es de lo que más os ha gustado de China...
Todavía no tengo ni fechas de vacaciones, pero ya se me ha metido en la cabeza China para este año y quiero tenerlo todo mirado para poder elegir buenas fechas.

Por supuesto! He estado en las dos zonas que comentas y las dos merecen mucho la pena. Si puedes no te pierdas la zona de Yansghuo. Pasear en moto o bici por la zona entre esas montañas no tiene precio!
Y uno puede alquilar moto fácilmente como en otros países vecinos?
