You're absolutely right—July and August are the busiest months, especially for safaris. If you're looking to avoid crowds while still experiencing the incredible Serengeti wildebeest migration, June and September are excellent choices.
June is the start of the dry season, and you can witness the herds gathering in the western corridor, preparing to cross the Grumeti River. It’s a fantastic time with fewer tourists compared to peak season.
September is also a great alternative, as the herds are usually crossing into the northern Serengeti and heading towards the Mara River. The crowds start to thin out after August, making it a more peaceful experience while still offering dramatic river crossings.
In general, almost all months offer good safari experiences, except April and May, when the long rains can make some areas difficult to access. But if you’re looking for a balance of great wildlife viewing and fewer crowds, June or September are excellent choices. North Fork
One timed entry reservation per vehicle will be required at the Polebridge entrance station June 13 through September 28, 2025, from 7 a.m. To 3 p.m. Visitors can enter before 7 a.m. Or after 3 p.m. Without a vehicle reservation. A reservation is not required to access the community of Polebridge which is located outside the park entrance.
Two Medicine Valley and St. Mary
As in 2024, vehicle reservations will not be required to enter Two Medicine Valley or the St. Mary entrance to Going-to-the-Sun Road in 2025. Entry may be temporarily restricted at certain times of day (typically between 10 a.m. And 2 p.m.) when areas become too congested. Visitors with service reservations (e.g., boat tours, lodging, horseback ride, guided hikes) in these areas will be permitted entry during temporary restrictions.
Many Glacier Valley
As the park has previously announced, the Swiftcurrent area of Many Glacier Valley will be closed to public access during the summer of 2025 due to ongoing construction. The closure will greatly reduce the amount of available parking in Many Glacier Valley. The park is currently researching access alternatives for the valley in 2025. More information about 2025 visitor access options will be announced in a separate news release.
Vehicle reservations and entrance passes
Vehicle reservations will only be available on Recreation.gov, the Recreation.gov mobile app, or through the Recreation.gov Call Center (Reservation Line: 877-444-6777). Each of the specified areas of the park will require a separate reservation. Visitors will need to set up an account on Recreation.gov to obtain reservations. The only cost associated with booking a reservation is a $2 Recreation.gov processing fee.
Vehicle reservations will be available through two booking windows.
A portion of reservations will be available 120 days or approximately four months in advance, starting on February 12, 2025, at 8 a.m. MST on a rolling basis on Recreation.gov.
The remaining vehicle reservations will be available at 7 p.m. MDT for next-day entry starting on June 12, 2025.
In addition to a vehicle reservation, each vehicle entering the park is required to have an entrance pass for any entry point into the park. These passes could include any of the following: a $35 vehicle pass, good for seven days; a valid Interagency Annual/Lifetime Pass; or a Glacier National Park Annual Pass. A vehicle reservation does not include an entrance pass, and the park entrance pass does not serve as a vehicle reservation.
Pursuant to the American Indian Religious Freedom Act of 1978, vehicle reservations are not required for tribal members throughout the park.
Visitors are encouraged to check the park website frequently for updates and additional information.
We were denied access to the plane at 6:42 pm. The boarding gate had opened at 6:45 pm and closed at 6:40 pm. Despite the fact that the crew personnel on the plane were waiting until 19:00 with the gate open, the staff at the boarding door refused to allow us to board the plane.
We were a group of six people. Of us, only two managed to board at 18:40; and only after the boarding door staff continuously shouted at them and slammed the door on their backs, hurting one of the group members, and even then allowing them to board without a boarding pass while being incredibly disrespectful to them and continued the constant shouting.
Meanwhile, for the remaining four members of our group, this same employee yelled at us constantly, even as we tried to explain the situation and request assistance in a respectful manner. At one point, a colleague of this employee, who was leaving the plane, confirmed to us that the boarding staff was still waiting for us, but the aforementioned employee also yelled at her and said we were banned from entering the plane, consequently denying us access.
On this note, we leave attached a translated copy of a phone message that the employee in question showed us after ten minutes of trying to reasonably speak to him, both with the crew on the plane and with us from outside, to let us board. What this employee showed us was a note indicating that we should go to the check-in entrance. We thought it was an instruction to board the plane another way since our companions who did board the plane were told that the crew members in the plane had informed them that we would be provided alternative flight options. However, this message, drafted in the utmost bad faith, indicated that we would be escorted out of the airport and not provided with an alternative flight.
Despite this confusion, we rushed to the indicated entrance and rapidly called the phone number the employee gave us, but got no answer at all. We were then left locked up and without access to any possible alternative for more than two and a half hours, all alone in the waiting area, since everything was closed and the few staff present refused to assist us in any way.
In particular, an employee (of whom we have a photo) told us that she was going home, and, instead of helping us, she insulted us by saying, “fuck you” and flipped off a colleague who took a photo of her as proof, when we communicated that we also want to file a complaint against the airplane company and the airport personnel who insulted us and were incredibly disrespectful during the situation.
We spent those two and a half hours with notable anxiety attacks, until finally, the airport staff noticed our situation and took us out of the waiting area, allowing us to go to the north terminal of the airport. There, we had to buy new tickets with another airline, as we all had to report for work back in Spain the next day. We then consequently spent the entire night sleepless and cold, as we were not allowed to enter the boarding area, which was closed, and no alternative options were provided by the airplane company.
Due to the above-mentioned circumstances, we would like to file a formal complaint against both the airport and the staff involved, as the situation left us helpless, and the behaviour from the cited individuals from the airplane company and the airport itself that we received was absolutely inappropriate... Ahora tengo la opción de volver a intentarlo en la web de airchina cuando lo pongan a la venta, que supongo será pasado mañana o mandar a paseo a los chinos y comprarlo con qatarairways aunque salga algo más caro.
La verdad no sé vosotros pero llevo una racha de movidas con las aerolíneas que podría escribir un libro. Con los vuelos nacionales y regionales no problem pero con el resto siempre algún incidente.

Hola, he contactado varias empresas y mirado varias webs y me encuentro con el problema de que todas las excursiones salen a las 8.45. Los puntos de encuentro que me indican, son en mismo puerto pero veo que de un punto a otro andando se tardan aprox 25 min por lo que no creo q fuera posible llegar a tiempo , ni siendo muy afortunados de coger el 1er shuttle.

"Hike up to, and in behind the Storseter waterfall.
The trip to the popular Storsæterfossen waterfall, where the trail actually goes behind the waterfall is one of the most used walking routes in Geiranger. It is carriageway to Vesterås (320 m.a.s.l.) by narrow gravel road. Closest parking is by the main road at Hole.
The walk starts from the Vesterås farm, and one has two routes to choose from at the start. Whether you follow the gravel road 50 meters back passing the cabins located on the left hand, and takes off on a tractor road leading up through hayfields. Follow the tractor road until a gate at the forest edge. You will pass through the gate and come into a stone pathway with hundreds of steps made by Sherpas from Nepal and completed in 2014.
The other route goes along the outbuilding at the end of the gravel road. This trail is not a stone pathway, but is shorter and steeper. One hundred altitude meters higher up in the hillside the trail comes onto the stone pathway made by the Sherpas that leads right up to Storseterfossen waterfall.
There is a nice grassy plateau (540 m.a.s.l.) just above the falls and a secured path goes down to the right and beneath the magnificent waterfall. Be cautious on wet, slippery party.
The trip from Vasteras to Storsæterfossen waterfall takes 45-60 minutes each way.
ELECTRIC BIKE and HIKE alternative: Parking at Hole can be limited so a good option is to travel up from town by "ebike" - an easy and fun way to travel without using much energy. Then of course you can also glide back into town after the walk. Check out the ebike and hike option here"

Tourists urged to use alternative entrance gates to Kruger National Park

South African National Parks (SANParks) has urged tourists to consider utilising other entrance gates into the Kruger National Park following the recent attack on a group of four German tourists and the subsequent fatal shooting of one of the group members earlier in the week.
This is according to SANParks Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ms Hapiloe Sello who said the organisation is deeply saddened by the recent spate of attacks on visitors en route to the iconic national park, particularly on the road leading to Numbi Gate south of the park... "and urges tourists with active and future bookings to use other entrance gates to the Park."
On behalf of the staff and Board of SANParks, she again sent her heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of the deceased and thanked the government and all South Africans for the outpouring of support following this tragic incident.
"We fully appreciate that this incident has brought a lot of apprehension to many of our loyal local and international visitors which could result in cancellations for planned visits to the Park and surrounding areas. It is thus important for us to remind our loyal visitors that Kruger has a total of 10 gates which tourists can safely enter from. In the south of the Park are five other entrances, namely Paul Kruger, Phabeni and Orpen Gates through the R40 from White River and Malelane and Crocodile Bridge through the N4 toll road towards Komatipoort in Mpumalanga province. In the north of the Park, visitors can enter through Phalaborwa, Punda Maria or Pafuri and lastly, Giriyondo Border Post allows access directly from Mozambique."
She said with the tourism industry currently in the midst of a post Covid-19 recovery plan, such incidents undermine the marketing efforts of tourism stakeholders. Sello called on law enforcement agencies to leave nothing to chance in bringing the perpetrators to book. Electrical power has been restored to the Hotel; however, most of Jasper is without electrical power. As ATCO works to restore the hydro lines damaged by the fire, electrical power is made available through a generator. This is not a stable system and power to the hotel may cycle in and out.
Should I cancel my reservation?
As much as we want you to be our guests, we also want to ensure your comfort. If you choose to cancel your reservation in Jasper at the Mount Robson Inn we fully understand and no charges will apply.

Te respondo de lo que he podido averiguar a traves de gente de alli y de las redes (para mi , son fiables las fuentes)
-Tener un PCR negativo de las 72 horas antes del vuelo.
-Tener un noche reservada y pagada en uno de los Hoteles autorizados
-Los hoteles son los denominados Alternative Quarantine, Organisation Quarantine, Alternative Hospital Quarantine o SHA-Plus. El pago debe cubrir también una prueba PCR, un kit de test de antígenos y el traslado desde el aeropuerto. en los buscadores vienen señalados los que son , y en caso de duda reserva directamente con ellos.
-En thailandsha puedes verificar la lista de hoteles
-Conseguir el Certificate of Entry (COE) con antelación. Este pronto será sustituido por uno más sencillo, llamado Thailand Pass.
-Contratar un seguro de viaje para Tailandia con una cobertura de al menos 50.000 dólares y que sirva en caso de contagio de covid, (las de IATI cubren y no son caras y si la sacas desde algun colaborador te hacen 5% dto.).
-Hacerte una prueba PCR en las 72 horas previas al vuelo.
-Bajarte una app llamada Morchana.
-Formulario T8 (te lo darán en el avión).
-Billete de ida y vuelta (o de salida hacia otro país).
En algun sitio he leido que hay que hacer un PCR al llegar , pero creo que es que ya pagas en el Hotel , ese punto no lo tengo claro.

Ojo, que para entrar a Hawaii es diferente. Por ahora, para entrar sin cuarentena sólo admiten a vacunados EN USA. Los viajeros internacionales que visiten Hawaii y quieran evitar la cuarentena deben mostrar resultado negativo Covid-19 (hasta 72h) pero sólo admiten pruebas hechas en alguno de los laboratorios del "trusted testing partner".
