Hola.
Gracias.

Theoretically, yes, it can be done, depending on your fitness level. In September, for instance, the Berg Lake Marathon uses the trail as the race course, with the runners going from the visitor centre up to Berg Lake and then back down.

I did the trail with my GF in one day, + taking the little cut offs to the waterfalls.
We didnt have the Option to camp but still wanted to See the lake mt. Rob and the glaciers.
It was one of the best hikes ive done, but it sucked having only half an hour at the lake +no time to explore the area further.

We did this in one day about 5 years ago, 4 adults in decent shape, in about 12 hours. Use the horse path that takes you on the bed of Lake Kinney if there isn't too much water. It is much faster and easier than the PUDS on the main trail.

I've done the Berg Lake Trail in one day twice now. Unfortunately circumstances never allowed me to overnight the trail. I'm on the trail by 6am, stop and take in some sights, hang out at Berg Lake an hr or so, then head back down. First time was by myself and took 10 hrs, second time was over 14 hrs since I had others with me that were not as accustom to the fast pace or climb. It was dark when we finished and they were very sore. I am a runner & experienced distance hiker and in good shape so its doesn't faze me, my friends who join me have said otherwise about it lol they didn't do much the next day besides lay there and heal.
Advice... Dress layers to prepare for weather changes, good snacks, lots of water, & only do it if you know you can handle that distance at fast pace, and only take those who can keep up. Otherwise you could find yourself in a bad situation.
En resumen...se puede pero se disfruta poco...contad unas 10-14h y no poder moveros al día siguiente!
