Hi friends!! I want to warn you NOT TO RENT rent from AVANT CAR CROACIA! WE WERE CHEATED OUT OF 1.632,63€!!!

We rented a vOLKSVAGEN Caravelle vehicle during our stay for one week in Croatia and we decided to hire a full insurance. The first incident was that the lighter wasn´t working when we picked-up the car at the airport, they told us they haven’t had the time to review the car and they lent us a GPS “solving” this matter.
The next problem was in the second day when one of the doors broke down, forcing us to get on/off the car through the back door; we reported the problem and they asked us to go to their nearest office in Split...
During next day, before getting to their office, a lot of smoke began coming from the car, we called them immediately and they asked us to continue driving to their office in Split (we thought it was not very safe to drive with the car in those conditions, but we did what they asked). When we arrived to Split they didn’t have a car with similar characteristics than the Caravelle and we had to accept a smaller one. After that, we continued our travel without more incidents and we returned the car at the end of the trip.
A few days after our return to Madrid, Avant Car charged 1.632,63€ from our credit card without permission and sent a bill for “burned clutch”. The clutch is a piece that suffers from all the different drivers, so the breakdown was not our fault at all. Moreover, we had paid for a full insurance/Super Damage Waiver that should cover the breakdown.

We made a formal complaint more than a month ago with no reply, we’re still with the legal procedure.

Los apartamentos los reservamos directamente desde la pagina de los propietarios ..todo por internet y por e-mail ..tienen bastante tipos de apartamentos y de precios pero te aconsejo que los reserveis cuanto antes porque se acaban llenando muy pronto.

- Muy buenas, me gustaria saber en que sitio web habeis alquilado los apartamentos o el nombre de los mismos, y por supuesto algo más de información, ya que yo y mis amigos estamos también interesados en hacer un viaje de este tipo a la isla de Pag.

En unos días cuando lo tengamos ya todo reservado y pagado ..haremos una entrada explicando el itinerario completo ..
La manera mas economica de viajar hasta croacia desde Madrid ..es con EASYJET a Zagreb via Paris o con RYANAIR a Zadar via Bruselas y Frankfurt ..esas son por lo menos las opciones qe estamos valorando nosotros.
