Que fechas estas por tiooga?
Yo tmb voy en agosto.
Por lo que he leido es de los años que mas tarde se a abierto, con lo que supongo que a mediados de agosto todo estara aun muy verde y habra bastante agua,no?
Estaré a mediados, si no me equivoco el día 13 de agosto paso por allí, según mi itinerario provisional.

Yo llego tmb el 13 de agosto a lee vining desde LV-DV, y el día 14 visitare yosemite
Hoy he cruzado el Tioga Pass, y lo prometido es deuda, subo un par de fotos de la zona.
Había obras en varios tramos de la carretera y eso ralentizaba la marcha, pero nada grave, el tráfico fluía.
Hasta había agua en la cascada, y algo de nieve en las puntas, lo que me ha sorprendido un montón.

Following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities, Yosemite National Park is increasing recreational access. The National Park Service (NPS) is working servicewide with federal, state, and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and using a phased approach to increase access on a park-by-park basis.
Beginning June 5, Yosemite National Park will reopen access to the Yosemite Wilderness to those with an existing wilderness permit reservation and to those with an existing Half Dome permit.
The health and safety of our visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners continues to be paramount. At Yosemite National Park, our operational approach will be to examine each facility function and service provided to ensure those operations comply with current public health guidance, and will be regularly monitored. We continue to work closely with the NPS Office of Public Health using CDC guidance to ensure public and workspaces are safe and clean for visitors, employees, partners, and volunteers.
While these areas are accessible for visitors to enjoy, a return to full operations will continue to be phased and services may be limited. When recreating, the public should follow local area health orders, practice Leave No Trace principles, avoid crowding and avoid high-risk outdoor activities.
The CDC has offered guidance to help people recreating in parks and open spaces prevent the spread of infectious diseases. We will continue to monitor all park functions to ensure that visitors adhere to CDC guidance for mitigating risks associated with the transmission of COVID-19, and take any additional steps necessary to protect public health.

Phased reopening: Yosemite is closed except to wilderness & Half Dome permitholders due to COVID-19
We are working to increase access to the park in a phased approach. The Yosemite Wilderness is open to those with existing wilderness or Half Dome permits. Yosemite National Park otherwise remains closed.
Es decir, abre SOLO para los que tienen un pase Wilderness o del Half Dome.

Podrían aprovechar y arreglar la carretera este año del glacier point ya que no suben autobus en todo el año y así poder subir el año que viene...Por desear cosas jjajajaj
