Buenas foreros, vengo a dejar algo de info que creo que es importante y yo no había encontrado en ningún sitio. Si a alguien le resulta de ayuda saberlo de antemano, por lo menos no se llevará el chafón que nos hemos llevado nosotras. Todo lo que voy a comentar es para un drone de menos de 250gr.
Como bien pone por arriba, hay que solicitar permiso para volar drone a la Autoridad de Aviación Civil de Sri Lanka (CAASL), te envían la aceptación religiosamente a los 10 días laborables como bien ellos indican. Hasta ahí todo bien. El caso es que cuando te llega el permiso, justo a continuación aparecen varias cláusulas (a cada cual más compleja) informándote del resto de condiciones que tienes que cumplir antes de volar el drone, incluso ya teniendo el permiso concedido por parte de la CAASL. A 5 días de irnos de viaje no sabemos si dejar el drone en casa o qué hacer porque me parece inviable seguir todos estos pasos en todos cada vez que lo queramos volar. Si alguien lo ha llevado y nos puede arrojar un poco de luz os lo agradecería infinito.
Os lo copio a continuación tal cual aparece en el permiso.
2. In addition to above, you shall be adhered to the following conditions once the approval is granted by the CAASL.
A. No sensitive areas especially including Military establishments, naval ships to be over flown during the aerial operation.
B. Contact Central Air Operations Room, Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters 02 Hrs prior to the operation to obtain permission to launch each flight and should maintain contact throughout the aerial process (Tel: 0112343970) and without prior approval you are not permitted to operate the drone. Further, it is required to inform divisional office of the Superintendent of Police in the area prior to 02 hrs, from the commencement of drone flying.
C. It is necessary to obtain prior approval from respective authorities/personnel (Department of Archeology - 0112692840, Department of Wild Life - 0112888585, Forest Department - 0112866631, Department of National Botanical Gardens – 0812388238, on site no objection from respective authorities etc.) in order to carry out aerial operation over the said locations as required without prejudicing the privacy concerns/religious values. Furthermore, it is prohibited to operate the drone in close proximity to wildlife and their habitats, as this can disturb their natural behavior.
D. Security Clearance is granted subjected to the prior approval from the authorities of the respective area. However, it is required to provide exact locations to CAASL & Central Air Operations Room, Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters prior to commencement of drone flying.
E. The right to delay/decline the launch or for immediate termination of the operation to accommodate any special flying operations will be under the control of Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters.
F. Maximum permissible altitude is 400 feet above ground level and the operator should maintain visual line of sight with the drone.
G. Drone shall not be operated from any elevated positions such as high-rise buildings, balconies, rooftops etc.
H. Ensure that the drone operation is carried out only during specified time period allocated by the CAASL and within the requested area. Night operations could be carried out subject to the authority from the CAASL only.
J. Remote operator of the drone is liable for any third party damage occurs to property or injury of personnel, due to this drone aerial... Leer más ...

Si os gustan las montañas rusas Islands of adventure de Universal lo considero indispensable.
El martes por la tarde-noche nos trasladamos al Hotel Disney All Star Music Resort. Elegimos una Family Suite y mereció la pena por espacio, tienes el doble de espacio que una normal, un dormitorio más, dos baños, nevera grande y microondas.
El miércoles fuímos a Magic Kingdom. Saqué el Genie + pero al final del día me arrepentí, son atracciones muy de peques y no nos compensó. Importante sacar la fila virtual de Tron.
El jueves fuímos a Volcano Bay (parque acuático Universal) y por la tarde a Disney Springs, a ver el espectáculo de Drones. Nos gustó mucho.
El viernes Animal Kingdom; madrugando y directos a Flight of passage. Desafío Everest y el safari muy divertidos.
Volvimos a comer al hotel, y como cayó una buena nos quedamos esa tarde descansando en el hotel.
El sábado Hollywood Studios. Es uno de los parques más visitados, así que no hay gran diferencia entre ir entre semana o hacerlo el fin de semana, por lo que es recomendable aprovechar a visitar otros entre semana. Cogimos Genie + y nos compensó. Acaban de abrir de nuevo Rock ´n´Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, muy recomendable si os gustan las montañas rusas emocionantes. Toda la zona y las atracciones de Star Wars están muy tematizadas, Rise of the Resistance es imperdible y, para mí, la mejor de todo Disney. Comimos en Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, la reserva era a las 16:30 h. No cogí reservas para cenar porque creí que nos iban a condicionar mucho. Justo antes de las 16 h empezó a llover mucho, así que como al terminar no llovía pero tenía pinta de volver a llover nos volvimos al hotel.
El domingo a Epcot. De nuevo madrugar y directos a Saorin. Importante reservar en la fila virtual de Guard¡anes de la Galaxia, emocionante y muy divertida.
El domingo por la tarde alquilamos un coche tres días: el lunes fuímos a Space Kennedy Center (indispensable) y a una actividad en Kayak para observar en una bahía la bioluminiscencia; el martes nos levantamos más tarde y outlets; el miércoles Siesta beach).
Tras dejar el coche fuímos a Magic Kingdom, había un espectáculo de fuegos especial y diferente por ser Víspera del 4 de julio.
El jueves 4 de julio a Epcot. Teníamos reserva para comer en el Space 220 Lounge. Sólo el lugar es muy sorprendente y recomendable, una atracción en sí. Imprescindible reservar. Hacía mucho calor y por la tarde volvimos al hotel.
El viernes Typhoon Lagoon, lo disfrutamos pero nos fuímos a comer al hotel, estábamos cansados. En el hotel tienes varias opciones de comida. Por la tarde volvimos a Hollywood Studios y al espectáculo Fantasmic.
El sábado nos volvíamos, pero British Airways nos canceló el vuelo y nos reubicó en un vuelo al día siguiente... Leer más ...

EPCOT ya solo por Guardianes de la galaxia merece la pena y el espectaculo de por la noche.
Animal kingdom, nos sorprendió a los 3. Flight of passage y todo el land de pandora el encantó al niño y a nosotros, sin olvidar el paseo Navii que solo por el animatronic del final ya merece la pena, pero es un paseo algo de relax. Pero safary kilimanjaro también y eso que no somos muy de animales pero nos lo pasamos genial y el taller de dibujo con un dibujante Disney fue un momento de relax y nos lo pasamos muy bien también. Everest después de probar Hagrids se nos quedó un poco no se.. sosa jejejejejejejeje
HS aquí no somos objetivos porque somos muy fan de Star Wars pero en atracciones es que es el que más nos gustó. Rise of the resistance es otra historia en inmersión. Pilotar el Halcón eso no tiene precio jejejejje, hacer los sables de saviii eso si tiene precio pero mejor no lo digo jejejejejjeje. TOT igual pero diferente a Paris. Toy Story mania divertidisima y una que no esperabamos nada pero nos encantón Mickey and minnie Railway. Eso sin contar los personajes... es que hacerte una foto con BB8 molaaa, ver a Rey y cheewiiii arreglando el halcon, la interacción con los stromtroopers y kylo..... es que no sé ni con quedarme.
MK es más parecido a lo que conocemos, pero oye hasta el hall de los presidentes nos gustó ejejejejeje va en serio.... BigThunder, hunted mansion, la de los enanitos nos defraudó un poco la verdad... y supongo que ahora Tron pero es un suponer.

In the summer of 2023, we not only expect to have a much more reliable air transport system worldwide. We will be welcoming you back on board our Airbus A380s, too. We decided today to put the A380, which continues to enjoy great popularity, back into service at Lufthansa in summer 2023. In addition to this, we are further strengthening and modernizing our fleets with some 50 new Airbus A350, Boeing 787 and Boeing 777-9 long-haul aircraft and more than 60 new Airbus A320/321s in the next three years alone.

Ufff, qué difícil!! Cada parque tiene sus atracciones estrella y es difícil elegir. Me sorprendió Magic Kingdom, porque sé que las atracciones no son tan impresionantes como las de los otros y además conozco el de París y pensaba que no me iba a gustar tanto, pero madre mía, es pura magia, pelos de gallina en los espectáculos, desfiles, show final. En fin, no sé si pondría este como el que más me gustó o Hollywood Studios, o Animal Kingdom, aahhh, qué difícil!
Cada día que entraba a un parque directamente lloraba de emoción, no me creía que después de los meses de preparación, de todo lo leído, vídeos vistos, por fin estuviera allí de verdad, y además es que es mejor de lo que me esperaba, merece la pena el dineral de las entradas la verdad.
DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM
Tenía muchas ganas de este por el safari y la verdad que el safari me decepcionó un poco, siento decirlo, pero creo que me creé expectativas tipo safari de Kenia y es más como un zoo amplio (tipo Cabárcenos), pero recorriéndolo por dentro con el jeep.
Sin embargo, el parque me apasionó por la zona de Pandora, que es impresionante, la atracción de Avatar, que es de una inmersión increíble y el espectáculo del rey león, que es divertido y entrañable. (Se me nota que vengo pelín emocionada del viaje, no? jejeje).
Dicho esto, si no tienes tiempo, este es de los que haría en medio día haciendo sólo esas 3 cosas además de ver el árbol de la vida.

Bueno, decir que yo no soy fan de star wars, y sin embargo Rise of the Resistance me ganó, casi la pongo como el top 1 de todo el viaje, aun con las casi 2 horas de cola (que por cierto, marcaba 2 horas y media y al final fueron 1h 45). Pero es que la atracción es genial, verdaderamente te sientes dentro de la película.
Mickey & Minnie Runaway Railway también nos encantó. Slinky dog muy divertida. Y el espectáculo de la Bella y la Bestia también genial. Y me quedé con ganas de Tower of Terror, ya la habíamos hecho en París, y como para el niño nos parecía demasiado, pues al final la descartamos (ya repetiré y me quitaré la espinita)
EPCOT
Tiene algunas atracciones geniales como Test Track que nos pareció muy divertida y entretenida, Frozen que está super bien hecha, Soarin que también es genial. Y luego es muy bonito pasear por la zona de los países. El show está bien, pero sinceramente es que después de ver el de Magic kingdom, pues creo que si no tienes días suficientes y no puedes ir, priorizaría Magic Kingdom. A falta de tiempo yo a EPCOT lo dedicaría medio día junto con Animal Kingdom, pero vamos, que si tienes el día entero mejor.
Ah! Os extrañará que no mencione Ratatouille, pero es que también la habíamos hecho en París, y por algún motivo a mi peque le asustó mucho y no quería ni oír hablar de ella… Así que nada, nos vino bien para tener más tiempo para el resto.
MAGIC KINGDOM
Magic Kingdom, en mi opinión como atracciones no llega al nivel de los otros, aunque 7 Dwarfs es muy chula, en la del circuito de coches nos echamos unas buenas risas, Peter Pan también es muy curiosa. Pero es que el parque en sí tiene tanta magia, los desfiles son preciosos, el espectáculo de personajes Disney también, y ya el show final, me dejó sin palabras (y eso que pensé que igualaría al de París pero no lo podría superar, pero sí, es que Disney se supera siempre). Teníamos nuestro propio coche de alquiler y lo usamos para ir a todos los parques menos Magic Kingdom. Todas las indicaciones están clarísimas para ir a cualquier lado y el parking es sencillo y cerca de la puerta ( excluyendo Magic kingdom)

...House: aquí repetimos porque estuvimos dos veces en AK, la segunda lo reserve con el pase para Rivers of Light y mereció la pena, por comida y por el pedazo de espectáculo. Los personajes muy simpáticos también, y la comida deliciosa. El curry de gambas increible y las samosas… mmmm
Cinderella’s Royal Table: quizás sea el que me pareció más caro de todos. Es espectacular pero 2 creditos table tal vez sea demasiado. Aun así la comida estaba espectacular, de las mejores que he comido. Y la experiencia, es algo que hay que hacer una vez en la vida, y si vas con una peque de 7 años ni te cuento.
The Crystal Palace: Muy buen buffet, muy rica la comida y muy divertidos los personajes.
Mamma´s Melrose: de todos los Table que probe en Disney, este sin duda fue el que más me decepcionó. La comida estaba bien, sin más. Lo cogi por las entradas de Fantasmic, y ese dia tuvimos la mala suerte de que cayó la del pulpo por la noche y se canceló el espectáculo. Una excusa que tengo para volver…
Chef’s Mickey: El mejor desayuno sin duda. Un gran acierto para el día de despedida de Disney.
De los restaurantes Quick, destaco The Harbour House en MK, que nos encantó, tanto por la comida como por el ambiente. La planta de arriba está genial y siempre hay un montón de sitio. Y el restaurante de Avatar está muy logrado y la comida está muy buena también.

Nos gustó mucho, la zona de Avatar es espectacular, y por la noche es 1000 veces más espectacular. El Flight of Passage sin duda cumple con las expectativas de sobra, y mira que las tenía por las nubes. El espectáculo de Rivers of Light es precioso y el parque está muy entretenido.
DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Quizás es el más decepcionante, pero no porque se a un mal parque ni mucho menos, la zona de Star Wars está increíble y las atracciones son muy divertidas. Es quizás el más “parecido” a un parque de atracciones y quizás por eso no es tan “diferente” a lo que te esperas en Disney. Aun así el Rock’n roller coaster está de lujo y el Tower of Terror mola mucho.
En esta opinión quizás tengo mucho que ver que viajaba con dos niños pequeños, y este parque se disfruta más con niños más mayores. Mi peque de 7 no disfruto mucho fuera de las experiencias con los personajes.

Pudimos hacer las tres atracciones chulas (Frozen, Test Track y Soarin) y las fotos con Elsa y Ana, si bien la zona de los países la vimos muy de pasada porque los peques estaban fundidos. Nos pilló demasiado pronto y con demasiado Jet Lag.
MAGIC KINGDOM
Que decir, no hemos estado en París y no podemos comparar, pero hace honor a la leyenda que reza en la entrada del complejo: “Where the dreams come true”. Espectacular tanto para niños como para mayores. Hace que merezca la pena el gasto.

La App imprescindible. Funcionó de lujo todo el tiempo. Incluso estando en AK me avisaron del cambio de un FP por avería de la atracción y lo cambie para el Safari y todo genial. Ver las fotos, controlar las esperas de las atracciones, las reservas… Funciona de lujo.

It is one of the most inhospitable regions of the world, but is nonetheless spectacular, full of eye-catching colors, as in the sulphur springs. The desert has several points lying more than 100 meters (328 ft) below sea level. You pass through a small town of Berhale where the camel caravans stop before they proceed to the northern highlands. En route you see many long caravans going to the salt mines and others coming out of the Danakil with their salt loaded camels. (3-4 hrs drive)Over night Camp at Hamedela.

Hamd Ela – Dodom
We start early, shortly after a 06:30 breakfast, and drive to Askoma at the base of new Erta Ale. The 80 km distance may take about 6 hrs passing through changing landscape of solidified lava, rock, sand and the occasional palm lined oasis. You pass several small hamlets scattered here and there in this desert land, before reaching Askoma village or parking area. You will trek from Askoma to the new Erta Ale which takes about 4 hrs. Early dinner around 17:00 and trek up to the new Erta Ale reach around 20:00. Camels transport all the camping materials and some food, sleeping materials, mattresses and water, to the rim of the volcano, where we spend the night watching the dramatic action of the boiling lava. New Erta Ale ranks one of the most alluring and physically challenging natural attractions anywhere in Ethiopia. It is a shield volcano with a base diameter of 30 km and 1km square caldera at its summit. New Erta Ale is part of the world’s only permanent lava lake and you will spend an unforgettable night on the top of the mountain. The magma flow moved 3.5 kms south from old Erta Ale to the New eruption point. Overnight camp

Sunrise at the volcano and Lake Afdera Early morning you will rise with the sun with time to walk around pits and craters. The main pit-crater, 200 m deep and 350 m across, is sub-circular and three storied. The smaller southern pit is 65 m wide and about 100 m deep. You will leave around 7:00 to head back to Askoma for breakfast. You will reach latest at 10:30 am at the camp and after some time to relax you will drive to Lake Afdera the mythical Lake Giulietti (or lake Afrera), a salt water lake located more than100 meters below sea level, in one of the deepest depressions of the planet. Because of the picturesque landscape, it is interesting to visit the salt flats where the Afar people obtain the salt by evaporating the water of the lake. On continue to Hamad Ela, a village with a total population about 500 people. Over night camping at Hamed Ela.

You will reach latest at 10:30 am at the camp and after some time to relax you will drive to Lake Afdera the mythical Lake Giulietti (or lake Afrera), a salt water lake located more than100 meters below sea level, in one of the deepest depressions of the planet. Because of the picturesque landscape, it is interesting to visit the salt flats where the Afar people obtain the salt by evaporating the water of the lake. On continue to Hamad Ela, a village with a total population about 500 people. Over night camping at Hamed Ela.

ITINERARY DETAILS
(06th May 2016) DAY 01: Arrival in Kathmandu/ Nepal/ transfer to hotel. Half day city tour in Kathmandu valley and rest of the day for trekking preparation/ Overnight at Kathmandu.
(07th May 2016) DAY 02: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding 2,860 M approx. 4 hours.
Transfer to Kathmandu airport early in the morning to catch the flight to Lukla 2,800 m, trekking from Lukla to Phakding through Chaurikharka, a town which highlights the Sherpas for their smiles. Overnight stay in lodge
DAY 03: Phakding - Namche Bazaar 3.440 M. approx. 5 hours.
A gentle climb towards Jorsalle, passing waterfalls and magnificent forests of rhododendrons and magnolias, a bridge reaches the bottom of Namche Bazaar. From there an ascent to reach Namche Bazar going through jungle. Finally reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight in lodge.
Day 04: NAMCHE BAZAAR - FREE.
Namche Bazar. Free day in Namche Bazar for acclimatization to the altitude. Possibility to visit the 'museum Everest', the center of interpretation of nature and 'Sherpa house museum'. Option to make a hiking to Thami, Overnight in lodge
DAY 05: Namche Bazaar- Tyangboche 3,867 M. approx. 5 hours and a half.
An easy walk to Phunki for three hours in which we can see sheep, deer and other animals and birds typical of the Himalayas, Going up three hours is reached Thyangboche. From here we can enjoy wonderful views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cholatse, Thamserku and Amadablam mountains. There visits the monastery Tyangboche. Overnight in lodge
DAY 06: Tyangboche - Dingboche 4,410 m. approx. 6 hours.
A short path through forests of birch, pine and rhododendron Dibuche direction, then ascend to Pangboche. From Pangboche the way to Dingboche going through mountainous area without trees. DAY 07: DINGBOCHE - FREE.
Free and explore day for acclimatization. Option to make a trekking towards the landscape and time, overnight in lodge
DAY 08: Dingboche - Lobuche 4,930 m. approx. 5 hours.
The path ascends through a broad gently sloping valley and sendereemos step towards the terminal moraine of the Khumbu. We see stone monuments erected in memory of six Sherpa who died in an avalanche at Lobuche, Overnight in lodge.
DAY 09: Lobuche – Gorapship 5.160 M. approx. 4 hours
This trail provides a wonderful view of Pumori. This part of the journey gives us great views of Mt. Everest Group since Gorakshep. Gorapshep is right at the foot of Mt. Pumori, Overnight in lodge.
DAY 10: Ancient Kalapatthar 5.545 M. approx. 4 hours.

- Si hago un vuelo saliendo del Monte Cook y en él veo los glaciares merece la pena ir al día siguiente y hacer el vuelo en los glaciares con la parada? Que tal os parecería hacer la opción más completa y al día siguiente no parar en los glaciares???
Por otra parte nunca he pisado un glaciar....ufff!! Que agobio!!
Si vas a los catlins entonces yo iria a kaikoura. Creo que para ver los lagos en vuelo lo mejor seria contratarlo en tekapo pero recuerda que tekapo esta a 80 kms dl pukaki. Dwsde glentaner pegado al pukaki alen vuelos panoramicos al mt. Cook y glaciares, pero creo q sin caminata, puedes consultarlo en la web de glentanner park q te pase. Hay vuelos hacia milford para hacer la navegacion y volver, y tambien vuelos oanoramicos con paradas en lugares donde se filmaron escenas del señor de los anillos, eso si los vuelos a milford sound son carisimos, pero tiene q ser una experiencia unica de verdad.
