Gracias Natastur!! Te importaria decirme que palabra era? Es que me has dejado intrigada. Por cierto, esos precios son para excursiones con 30 participantes, si es para 2 personas salen bastante caras ya que las he estado mirando con mucha ilusion y no veas que clavada te meten en algunos lados.

El autobus express se coge abajo, a kaosan el AE-2 por 150 THB, es la ultima parada.
También puedes coger el shuttle bus gratis hasta el centro de transportes del aeropuerto, y allí coger un autobus hasta victory monument donde coges otro hasta kaosan, te gastas unos 35 THB en total, lo malo es que tardas algo mas que en el express. No recuerdo los numeros porque hay muchos autobuses, pero eramos los unicos occidentales del bus el resto eran trabajadores del aeropuerto, si preguntas te lo diran, y la cobradora que va en el autobus te dira donde bajarte, a nosotros cuando llegamos a victory monument se bajo corriendo para parar el otro autobus que teniamos que coger, impresionante.

En cuanto al dinero cambiaria de poco o poco, en 25 días siempre lo vi subir de 45.75 a 47.75, me parece recordar que estaba mejor en kaosan el cambio, y mucho mejor por el centro. Me llevaria muchos euros, y segun lo vayas necesitando vas cambiando. Cajeros hay por todos los lados.

¿¿Alguien me puede decir algo de autobus a SUKHUMVIT des de el aeropuerto??

NOs vamos el próximo 24 de Septiembre y volvemos el día 08 de Noviembre, tenemos pensado ir por nuestra cuenta y coger un coche de alquiler para movernos por el norte y hacer extensión a islas Phiphi, etc.. ¿Creeis que es buena idea?

La conducción en Tailandia es bastante caotica , yo te recomiendo un coche con conductor , es mucho mejor y no mucho mas caro

Yo alquilé en un par de ocasiones un coche. Ahora me río, pero hubo situaciones bastante estresantes.

Para moverte por carretera, genial, hacen unas pirulas que son la caña, pero bueno, al final te acostumbras y las haces tú también. Eso si, en las ciudades la cosa se complica. No sé si sabeis que conducen por la izquierda (mi novio daba los limpia cada vez que quería dar el intermitente, ja,ja) y a nosotros al menos nos costó acostumbrarnos.

De todas formas, me parece muy buena opción y lo volveríamos a hacer ¿y todas esas anécdotas con las que volvimos? ¡Si hasta tuvimos un pequeño golpecito! (menuda clavado nos metieron, je,je).

Nosotros también vamos a alquilar un coche en BKK para llegar a Chiang Mai (haciendo paradas, claro), unos amigos lo hicieron y nos lo recomendaron, comentaron que las carreteras estaban muy bien, que no había ningún problema, lo único las pirulas para cambiar de sentido (por mitad de la mediana). Lo cogieron en BKK y lo dejaron en Chiang Mai, y desde allí volvieron a BKK en avión.
Nosotros vamos a hacer lo mismo, salimos el 17 de noviembre, ya os contaremos a la vuelta.
Hace falta el carnet internacional, pero en tráfico te lo dan en el momento, no recuerdo si has de llevar una foto, me suena que sí.

Sabéis de alguna página en la que te digan las distancias de ciudad a ciudad?

No sé de donde eres, pero yo me compré un mapa de carreteras (Michelin) de Tailandia en la FNAC, te vienen los km entre las ciudades, los nombres de las ciudades en Tai (por si acaso me perdía y no me entendían, que al final no hizo falta), y mapas de las ciudades principales. ¡está muy bien!

Si pasas de pillarlo o no puedes, dime que distancias necesitas y te lo miro.

Yo creo que lo mejor en ese caso sería tomarlo por la noche para llegar al día siguiente y empezar prontito pues ya has dormido en el viaje...yo me he hecho un par de noches en autobus este verano por allí y bien (excepto porque un día que nos iban a dejar a las 5 am fue al final a las 3 y fue una putada pero bueno...eso enterate bien y ya esta)

Pero tema de dormir en autobus cada uno lo tolera mas o menos, supongo que habra gente que sera imposible pero mal mal no estan tampoco....
