Ahora que me acuerdo!

Optamos por este sitio el Camellias tea house...por la recomendación del foro y por la ubicación, justo delante del british museum y nos permitia comer algo antes del walking tour

El sitio es mono, nos adelantaron un poco la hora incluso sobre la que habíamos reservado vía web (eramos un grupo de 9)

Té probamos varios tipos, y acabó sobrando comida (los scones llenan un montón...)

Escogimos el menú de 26 libras y suficiente!

A la hora que quieras, es una cosa turistica y no sigue ningun horario. (aunque seria raro pedirlo mas tarde de las 8-9 y muchos sitios que lo sirven ya estaran cerrados a esa hora)

Bueno me puse a mirar a mirar y encontre un sitio un poco mas económico por 17£, se llama the secret tea room, aunque ciertamente me sigue pareciendo una pasada hasta 10£ considero que es un precio asequible, aunque también he leido que puede pagar uno y compartir asique bueno,... Es otra opción

Pero ya sabes que la memoria va sedimentando...y lo que ha quedado en la mía de esa experiencia de hace muuuuchos años (es cierto que no la he vuelto a repetir e igual debería intentarlo!) son los sandwich de pepino...

En Groupon siempre hay montones de ofertas que salen mucho mejor de precio, pero sin oferta menos de £15-£20 por persona es dificil. Hay que tener en cuenta que es casi una comida o cena, no es realmente un cafe de media tarde (a menos que seais MUY comilones/as!)

Wanderlust, los sandwich de pepino es una cosa que se pone por tradición, obviamente un gran sabor no tienen, pero un afteroon tea es mucho mas que sandwich de pepino...

Una alternativa es el "cream tea", tipico de la zona de Dorset pero que también se sirve en el resto del pais y es algo mas ligero, es el te con scones, whipped cream (una especie de nata para untar) y mermelada.
