En el río Kamo de Kyoto mas que bañarse la gente se remoja los "pinreles" y algún aborigen incluso pesca allí.
Una opción de playa + visita en un día desde Kyoto es Amanohashidate o Kinosaki Onsen.
Desde Tokyo se pude hacer una visita a las playas de Kamakura o Enoshima, o bien dedicar 1 día a la península de Izu para hacer playa, onsen y visita a acantilado.
Parece muy interesante la visita de 1 día a Amanohashidate sobre todo para gente que sabe apreciar la naturaleza y veo que casi nadie del foro de Japón ha estado allí. Es más bien un sitio para turistas japoneses. Nosotros tenemos 30 días en nuestro viaje a Japón este verano y si el tiempo lo permite, lo visitaremos. Las vistas panorámicas del banco de arena desde arriba son espectaculares y hay 2 montañas en cada lado de la bahía donde se puede subir en telesilla, tren cremallera o andando. Ya os contaré si al final habremos ido.

En la bahía de Ine, se llega a entender las dificultades de espacio en Japón. La población se Situa entre el mar y las montañas en una franja de tierra de unos veinte metros de ancho lo que obliga a optimizar el espacio
Estas limitaciones dieron origen a las Funaya - las casas barco- construidas una junta a otra a orillas de la bahía donde las aguas son calmas, sin olas o con muy pocas
Una funaya cuenta con dos pisos básicamente.
En el primer piso están los botes, los coches, el medio de transporte para todos los que viven en la casa, así que es una especie de garaje, taller y almacén.
En el segundo, escaleras arriba, está la vivienda propiamente dicha.
La mayoría de las funaya en Ine siguen siendo casas de pescadores que aún se dedican a esta actividad, pero varias de ellas se han convertido en restaurantes o izakayas
El pueblo está clasificado como uno de los más bellos de Japón.
