Hola, tengo una duda, por si alguien tiene más información. Viajo a Gatwick el 4 de febrero. El Gatwick express pone que hay huelga pero no si es de todo el día o algunos trenes... Me arriesgo a comprar billetes o mejor reservar con nationalexpress? Un Uber - Taxi cuánto puede costar?

¿A qué hora llegas? Los días de huelga de trenes hay servicios mínimos hasta las 5.30 de la tarde approx.
Pero no cojas el Gatwick Express, coge el tren Southern a Victoria que es más barato que el Gatwick Express y sólo tarda 5 minutos más.

Acabo de ver que el 18 de marzo hay huelga de la Rail Union. Pensaba comprar el Gatwick Express (ida y vuelta) para llegar a Londres y aprovechar los 2x1... ¿Nos afecta?¿Qué alternativa tenemos?

Semana Santa de caos con huelga en Londres Heathrow
Durante los diez días de Semana Santa, el primer aeropuerto de Europa, Londres Heathrow, vivirá una huelga del personal que lleva a cabo los controles de seguridad antes de subir a los aviones.
British Airways ya ha cancelado más de 300 vuelos siguiendo las directrices de la dirección del aeropuerto.

La huelga del personal de seguridad en la Terminal 5 de Londres Heathrow continúa este mes durante 8 días más.
Puede esperar posibles retrasos el 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 25, 26 y 27 de mayo, y es probable que First Wing Security esté cerrado, como durante el período de huelga anterior.

Viajamos a Londres el 21 de julio y hemos leído que el 23 empieza la huelga de metro.
Alguién podria decirme como son las huelgas de metro en Londres?
Son muy estrictos? Ponen transporte alternativo? Qué me aconsejáis? Pensabámos movernos en metro y ahora no sabemos que alternativa usar...

Transport for London (TfL) said there would be little to no Tube service between Tuesday 25 and Friday 28 July, and there will be no Night Tube service on Friday 28 July.
Passengers are advised to check with Transport for London before travelling.

He estado mirando y no logro averiguar si el 5 de agosto me afecta o no. Se que ese día hay huelga planeada, pero no se (mi idioma es regulero, jejejeje).
Tenía pensado coger el Thameslink de Gatwik a Blackfriars (mi hotel es el premier inn), llegamos a Londres a las 17 horas....
Estoy dandole vueltas a coger un traslado privado a ver si voy a tener problemas...

@Alba2009 Hay huelga pero hay servicios minimos. Comienzan a las 7 de la mañana y finalizaran sobre las 7 de la tarde. A partir de las 7 de la tarde habrá muy poco o nada de servicio.
No habrá Gatwick Express.
Yo también vuelo el 5, pero a mi me pilla de pleno porque tengo que estar en Gatwick a las 6.30 de la mañana...

El primer día que llegamos tenían puesto en el metro un cartel con exactamente la misma info que me compartisteis. Pero al día siguiente sábado 22 ya estaba cancelada y jolin menos mal... La verdad que ha sido un gran suerte.

Como se pueden saber los días de huelga?yo viajo del 27 al 30 de septiembre
Acabo de volver de Londres, y había huelga de trenes el día 1 y 2, me agobié cuando me enteré, la compañía aérea avisó a la agencia de viajes que contraté, y estuve mirando el día anterior transfer para ir al hotel, pero me parecía muy caro, así que dije al llegar ya lo solucionamos. Llegamos a Gatwick, y sin problemas te dirigían a la fila para montarte en el tren que iba a llegar, y lo que decían era que sólo había una parada Victoria, por tanto considero que fue un tren expres, la cola fue rápida, iban contando cuantas personas pasaban para entrar, pero sobraba asientos en nuestro vagón. Compramos los billetes al llegar allí, que no sé si pagando con la revolut hubiera bastado, pero con los nervios fuimos directos a las maquinas de comprar billetes.

Iba a comprar los billetes con thameslink, pero ya no me atrevo y no se como hacer para ir de gatwick hasta bedform place, al lado del british que es donde nos alojamos. 2 adultos y 2 niños
