My name is Elwis and I am a MA student from University Collage Birmingham. I am a member and a manager of group of students who participate in a life project about tourism industry in Gran Canaria.
Our goal is to create a product/line of products which could fullfill a gap in local tourism industry and make an Island more competitive on a global tourism market. It is completly free task and we belive that if prepare in co-operation with local community, can be useful for local government in the future. Last year project in Cropani (Southern Italy) create couple of solutions that local government has started to realize and bring a local newspapers attention. Hopefully this year project will be at least same succesfull
We are looking for a contact with creative people who could help us with our task via internet and later,when we will arrive to the island for the lastest researches.
If anybody would like to help us, could You respond to my post or e-mail me, please. We will appreciate any sort of help, even a little hint about what is missing among various tourism products already offered, will be a great help as non of us is from Canary Islands and we know local market only from what we could find in statistics, journals and other written or internet sources.
