Serían 11 días... Y habría que meter los viajes entre medias. Cúanto se tarda entre las etapas de cada viaje más o menos? Hay transporte nocturno como comentas?
Si tuviese que sacrificar algo, sería más adecuado quitar Nong Khiaw y Muang Ngoy o Luang Namtha más Muang Sing? Y si las sustituyo el combo Nong Khiaw + Muang Ngoy por Vang Vieng?
Si me paso de días, son días que le quitaré a Vietnam...
Voy a viajar a Laos el proximo 7 de noviembre. Dispongo desde el 7 de noviembre hasta el 6 de diciembre para visitar Laos, Birmania y Vietnam. El 6 de diciembre tengo que estar en Kuala Lumpur. Agradecería que me proporniaran cualquier tipo de recomendación. Por ejemplo, después de Laos a dónde voy, Vietnam o Birmania. ¿Puedo volar de Vietnam a Birmania sin tener que pasar de nuevo por Laos? ¿Dónde obtengo el visado en Laos para Vietnam y Birmania? He leído que en Laos obtengo el visado en el mismo aeropuerto. Espero que sea cierto porque ya he sacado el billete. Gracias por cualquier información. JAG

En Enero de 2017 tengo pensado ir al Gibon Experience. Me han hablado muy bien, amigos que han estado allí. Mi problema es que no se como ir hasta allí. Llegaré en Avión a Hanoi, y parece que no hay vuelos a Huaxai. Lo mejor que yo he encontrado es volar a Luamprabang y desde allí autobús a Huaxai o Luang Namtha.
¿Alguien tiene una propuesta mejor?
Yo (Míriam) y mi pareja (Joan) estamos planeando visitar Borneo en un tour del 3 al 5 de agosto del 2016. Hemos estado mirando mucho y los precios oscilan entre los 200€ por persona en un tour de 3 días y 2 noches. No obstante, después de mucho negociar hemos encontrado un chico que nos lo hace un poco más económico (2.100.000 IDR por persona -> 147€) con la condición de que seamos de 4 a 6 personas!
Nosotros somos dos, así que .

Day 1#
I will pick you up at the airport and take you to kumai sub district about 25 minutes from the airport, Kumai is a harbor village on the west of Tanjung Puting National Park and also the entrance to the park. After arriving at Kumai we can go straight to klotok and we will introduce you klotok crew who will accompany and serve you during the trip. When everythings ready, we can start the trip to the park. It take two our before we get to the Park, its very possible for you to see some animals such as some species of birds, monkeys, lizards water and very likely the wild Orangutan along the way on the river to first station.
After arriving at the first station we can directly go to see the feeding of the orang-utans at 3 pm, there you can see about 5 or 15 orang utan. After that we return to klotok and continue the journey on the river to see the monkeys that are very easy to take a look at the trees around the river like a monkey and a long tailed macaqe and probusces monkey. During the night we could also go to the nearby nipa palm forest to see the fireflies .
Day 2#
You can wake up early morning to enjoy and listen to the sound of animals such as birds, monkeys or the big male of orangutan long call , after breakfast and drinking coffee we can continue our journey towards 2nd station to see the feeding of orang utan at 09.00 am.
Having seen feeding at 2nd Station we can continue our journey to the 3nd station, and if we leave early, we might be able to see the crocodiles and some of the animals throughout the way to the 3nd station. 3rd station which we call camp leakey to see feeding of orang utan at 2 pm in the afternoon, Camp leakey is the last camp that has a black clean water up the sekonyer river. There are a lot of crocodiles and also we can find a lot of orangutans and other animals such as wild boar and gibbon.
There is an Information Center that is usually open at 12.30 to 02.00 pm.
After we watch the feeding we return back to klotok and find a place to spent the night on the river near Camp Leakey, after diner if the weathers good we can also do the night walk to look for the night animals and glowing mashroom which usually can be found at rainy season
Day 3#

Vamos pasar del norte de Tailandia a Laos en nuestro camino a Hanoi. Alguna sugerencia de lugares a visitar en esa parte de Laos?? No tenemos prisa asi es que podemos hacer la ruta con tranquilidad
El Norte es, en mi opinión, lo más interesante de Laos

No te debes perder Luang Prabang, hacer algún trekking por Luang Namtha, tambien tienes los canopys de la Gibbon Experience, etc

A mi me llama mucho la atencion el norte de vietnam y laos, creo que es una zona todavia no muy explotada y a nivel natural y etnico muy muy interesante. He oido hablar de la gibbon experience, una serie de tirolinas y casas arbol donde dormir que pinta muy bien, cerca de Huay Xay ¿alguien sabe algo o ha estado por alli?
Fue un viaje de 40 días recorriendo parte del Sureste Asiático.
Principalmente visitamos Laos y Camboya y parte de la Tailandia del norte. El viaje se realizó en noviembre y diciembre del 2012.
El viaje está dividido en 13 Etapas que cuentan un poco nuestras experiencias en estos lugares tan especiales.
El País que me sorprendió más fue Laos.
Me encantó su tranquilidad, su gente y lugares. La selva en las montañas del norte y el gran río Mekong. Es un país para visitar con tranquilidad y sin prisas. No obstante el fuerte calor que había, volvería a relajarme en una de las islas de las 4000 Islas, pero no a Don Det.
De Camboya me encantó su gente y su fuerza para seguir creciendo después de la guerra devastadora que tuvieron. Siem Reap y los Templos de Angkor son mágicos, hay que ir a visitarlos por lo menos una vez en la vida... aunque se están volviendo demasiados turísticos.
Tailandia del norte también es un lugar especial, para descansar en la tranquilidad.
Gracias a todas las personas que encontramos y que hicieron que el viaje fuera aún más bonito.

Aprovecho para hacer otras dos pequeñas preguntas:
1. Estaremos 4 días y medio en BangKok (se que es mucho pero tengo un amigo Thai allí y quiero salir con el y sus colegas, conocer a su familia, etc.)
En ese tiempo además de ver la ciudad tenemos pensado ir al mercado flotante. Además me gustaría saber:
¿me aconsejáis ir y volver el el día con el tren a AYUTTHAYA para ver las ruinas? o un solo día es demasiado poco? En caso de ser poco podría cogerme desde allí el Bus a Chiang Mai (ese de las 10 horas, de noche etc) sin dificultad?
2. Alguien que haya hecho el "Gibbon experience" en Laos. Me decís el precio? he oído algo de 250$... por lo que he oído merece la pena. Se suele hacer 3 días/2 noches verdad?

Voy a Laos en Agosto, y vuelo a Bangkok, y me invade la duda de por donde entrar en Laos. Queria hacer la gibbon experience, pero tengo unas dos semanas y creo que me merece mas la pena bajar directamente; asi que ahi va: merece la pena entrar por Huay xai solo por el trayecto x el rio? o mejor volar directamente a LP
Hola, yo estuve hace ya 3 años, y entonces era un proyecto que estaba casi comenzando creo recordar. nos lo recomendó una chica holandesa en un aeropuerto y fuimos porque nos iba bien según nuestra ruta. la verdad es que, en un principio, también me pareció que iba a ser una turistada. pero después, al hablar con el chico que lo había montado, me llevé una mejor impresión. Entonces sólo había tres cabañas habitables, no sé ahora, y el tipo nos hablaba de que era una forma deconservar el bosque y que la gente nativa no tuviera que quemar para sembrar y demás.De este modo, los guías eran chicos jóvenes del pueblo muy simpáticos, que te acompañaban a la casa que decidías y te hacían caminatas por el bosque,e incluso te cocinaban a la noche.
Bueno, nosotros escogimos la casa más alejada y nos dimos unas buenas caminatas, bonitas e interesantes, incluyendo los trayectos que hacías por cable entre las copas de los árboles y dormir en ellos. También fueron interesantes los sonidos de insectos y animales por la noche y la "gibbon experience", es decir, la serenata que cantaban los gibones por las mañanas.
Un sitio curioso y quizás una ayuda a la gente que vive por allí, está bien en mi opinión para estar (sólo podía elegir 2 o 3 días entonces) si pasas por allí y tienes tiempo.
la oficina estaba en el pueblo de Huai Xai, el que está justo cruzando la frontera por Chiang Kong(tailandia), y el ambiente era muy relajado y agradable, y había hostales muy decentes para dormir.
Yo tengo la misma sensación...creo que debe ser como el Rioleón Safari...Pero también he leído opiniones súper positivas.
De todos modos, como se me iba de presupuesto creo que al final pasaré...

Tengo el folleto precisamente delante, recuerdo haber conocido gente que fue, las opiniones eran dispares, unos decian que era una turistada como lo de los elefantes y otros que era una pasada... juzgalo tu mismo...
