El Bunraku, también conocido como ningyo joruri, es una forma de teatro de marionetas japonés designado como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la UNESCO. Esta forma de arte escénico apareció por primera vez en Osaka durante el periodo Edo alrededor del siglo XVIII. Se ha seguido practicando y mostrando durante siglos hasta nuestros días.
