Due to a late order of anti-viral medicines (15 mln doses) and a high demand for this remedy around the world - the uk authorities are preparing for the worst. They expect the bird flu to strike before the whole order will be completed by March 2007.

Some scientists now believe that up to 2 mln will die in the UK alone.
