Three Days Trip in Siem Reap
Hi, my name is Kimsan, but you can call me Kim. These are some suggestions for your 3 days tour in Siem Reap.
When you arrive in Siem Reap, you must be tired from a long flight. So you might just need to have meal and then relax to be more energetic for the next following days. I am not sure whether you like to go for sunrise at Angkor Wat during your trip. If yes, I like to recommend that you should do so on the second day. Bellows are the details of each day.
Day1: Trip around the city
- Driving cost (Tuk Tuk) = only $ 15
- Places to visit
o Trip around the central city (Pub Street and night market which was known as the French Quarter in Siem Reap, Beautiful Buddhist temple, Royal palace.)
o Museums: There are 3 good museums:
Killing field is free to visit.
War museum costs other $ 5 each for entrance
Siem Reap National Museum cost $ 12 each for entrance
o Silk farm (To see where people get the silk from, cotton plants, Larva, how people collect the silk, and the silk products. This is free to visit.
o The rice field and farming down town
o Floating village ( if you wish to see how people make a living, school, fish farm, crocodile farm, and sunset, you have to take a machine boat. Then you have to spend other $ 20 each for the boat. )
- Day2 and 3: Trip around Angkor Archaeology Park (Small Circuit and Grand Circuit)
o In order to visit all the temples in small and grand circuit you will have to pay for Angkor entry ticket which is 1 day = $37, 3 days = $62, and 1 week =$ 72, for 1 person.
o Day 2
Driving cost (Tuk Tuk) = only $ 17
Temples: Six temples
o Day 3
Driving cost (Tuk Tuk) = only $ 20
Temples: Six temples
o But, this is another option, if you want to see Beng Melea and Rolous Group
(Lo Lei, Preah Ko, Bakong and Floating village) instead of one of the 3 days program. Please see below:
Driving cost (Tuk Tuk) = only $ 30
$ 5 for ticket to enter Beng Melea
Also use the normal ticket for Rolous Group
Notes:
- You will be served with free cold drinking water all day
- Free pick up to dinner around town and back to the hotel
- Free telling brief history of each temple from outside and in front of the temples
