Otra pregunta, cuando se hace la actividad del Kayak se puede llevar la cámara de fotos encima, o hay riesgo de mojarla?
Que aconsejáis?
Personalmente nunca llevaria la camara haciendo kayak, a no ser que tuvieras alguna bolsa estanca para tenerla a buen recaudo.
Si está claro, lo pregunto porque he visto fotos desde Kayaks pasando por cuevas y la verdad son muy guapas.
Alguien que lo haya hecho puede comentar alguna cosa al respecto.
Tenemos intención de hacer por nuestra cuenta lo siguiente y me gustaría que me dieseis vuestra opinion.
Cojer transporte desde Hanoi hasta HaLong, contratar un tour diario y dormir en un hotel en HaLong, al día siguiente hacer otro tour diario (no sabemos si todos los tour diarios hacen el mismo recorrido o si hay tours para diferentes zonas) y después del segundo tour ya ver si volvemos a Hanoi directamente segun a la hora que acabe o hacer noche y mirarlo para volver al día siguiente

Por la información que he leido, no te lo recomiendo.
Desde Halong todas las opciones están dirigidas a gente que viene con el pack contratado del barco desde Hanoi, por lo visto hay muy pocas opciones para organizar por libre y además son muy caras.
La opción que planteas de visitar la bahía por libre en tour de 1 día es mucho mejor desde Cat Ba, llegando desde Hanoi via Hai Phong.

Yo lo hice este verano. El barco , al menos, se llamaba igual era de Indochina Junk. Tres días y dos noches. Muy bien, todo correctísimo, la comida exquisita, kayak, excursión con picnic a un islote que tenía una cueva... La verdad que todo muy cuidado.Estuve en la parte norte de la bahía y casi no había barcos, se veía muy bien el paisaje. Al anochecer, el gobierno obliga a ir a todos a la misma zona por cuestiones de seguridad pero solo había 6 o 7 barcos y eso que era agosto. Solo íbamos 15 personas, todos anglófonos, por cierto, ( neozelandeses, ingleses y australianos). Todo un poco pijo pero muy bien
¿Alguien pueda recomendar tours de 1 día desde Halong? ¿O hay que acudír a Cat Ba para ello? Tenemos el hotel en Ha Long y pensábamos hacer el viaje por la bahía desde ahí... Pero he leído que es complicado encontrar viajes para 1 día desde Ha long... Sino ¿Cómo llegar desde Ha Long a Cat Ba?..

Al final voy con Paloma Cruises, ya os contaré que tal. En tripadvisor la ponen bien y además me la ha recomendado un conocido. Por si queréis mirar más al respecto palomacruise.com
La primera diferencia que veo es que van por Bai Tu Long Bay que es algo menos turístico y entiendo que menos barcos.
Al final opto por el de dos días y una noche. Creo que 3 días y dos noches sería ver más de lo mismo y de este modo puedo aprovechar el día que "pierdo" de bahía en ver Hoa Lu – Tam Coc y así ver dos cosas distintas.

Me parece que está muy bien de precio, a mi me ha costado algo más. Si tenemos en cuenta que suelen cobrar unos 20-25usd solo por el trayecto desde hanoi me parece casi regalado.
Yo lo que miraría, si puedes, es la capacidad del barco, no es lo mismo un barco con 10-12 camarotes que con muchos más. Lo que más he visto quejarse a la gente es de eso, del número de personas, calidad de la comida y a los que les toca el camarote cerca de los motores (ruido). Si ves que todo eso esta bien. Has encontrado un chollazo.
