Lenchada Safaris - Agencia local de Kenia ✈️ Foro África del Este ✈️ p02 ✈️

Recién llegada de Kenia, hicimos un safari de 8 días con Lenchada safaris. No sabía muy bien qué esperar, pero el itinerario se cumplió al detalle y el viaje superó mis expectativas.

Al igual que el compañero @lifestyle84, hicimos el recorrido de 8 días con 3 noches en Masai Mara, 1 en Nakuru, 1 en Naivasha y 2 en Amboseli. Este circuito no aparece en su web, pero les dijimos que queríamos una noche más en Masai Mara y sin problema.

El precio total fue de 1180 USD por persona. Era junio, con la entrada a Masai Mara a 100USD. Les hicimos un depósito de 100 USD al reservar y el resto lo pagamos al iniciar el safari. La única pega es que cobran un recargo del 5% por pagar con tarjeta, así que nos llevamos efectivo y pagamos en euros. Nos hicieron un cambio justo.

El recorrido lo hicimos en Land Cruiser y fuimos cambiando de coche, de guía y de compañeros de viaje, ya que éramos los únicos que hacíamos ese itinerario. Empezamos el safari 6 personas, y el último día en Masai Mara nos quedamos solo cuatro. Después nos unimos a otro grupo para ir a Nakuru y éramos 6, y para el Lago Naivasha y Hell's Gate estuvimos solo nosotros 2. Para Amboseli cambiamos de nuevo de guía y éramos 4. Así que muy bien, el coche no estuvo lleno nunca. Dispusimos siempre de agua embotellada en el coche.

En cuanto a los alojamientos, es cierto que eran un poco básicos, pero mejor de lo que me esperaba.

Masai Mara: Lenchada camp. El más básico de todos, con electricidad a ciertas horas, pero suficiente para cargar todos las baterías y teléfonos. Tiene agua caliente pero hay que avisar para que cambien la tubería, y el agua tiene un olor metálico un poco extraño. Tienen tiendas y cabañas. Nosotros pedimos en la agencia que nos pusieran en una cabaña y nos lo respetaron. La comida buffet un poco básica, pero siempre había carne (pollo o ternera), arroz, legumbres, verdura,... Se pueden comprar bebidas a precios razonables.

Nakuru: Buraha Zenoni. Un hotel bastante bueno, con piscina y restaurante panorámico. El buffet era un poco más elaborado que en los campamentos.

Naivasha: Chambai Resort. Un hotel normalito, con piscina, sin ascensor, que parecía estar medio vacío. Las camas muy cómodas. La cena era menú, había que elegir entre varias opciones, y muy bien.

Amboseli: Amboseli Mountain View. Un campamento, nos alojamos en una tienda. A diferencia del de Masai Mara, este tenía electricidad y agua caliente 24 horas. La ducha muy buena.

Copio aquí el itinerario que hicimos. El único día que no me gustó fue el 4, porque no hicimos la visita opcional a la aldea Masai y ese día se quedó sin ninguna actividad, fue solo de traslado. Pero eso estaba indicado claramente en el itinerario, así que si fuera otra vez intentaría buscar un itinerario que tuviese actividades todos los días.

8 DAYS Masai mara/Naivasha/L.Nakuru/Amboseli

DAY 1;Nairobi/Masai mara
Pick up from your hotel at 8.00am and depart from Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve with a stop over at the great rift valley view point. With picnic lunch on the way you arrive at Masai Mara in the afternoon. Proceed for evening game drive dinner and overnight at Mara Lenchada Tented camp with facilities of hot shower and toilet inside the tent.

DAY 2and3;Masai mara full day
After early breakfast with picnic lunch you spent full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park.You have the chance to visit Mara river the border of Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti park where there is concentration of many animals especially the time you will be travelling. All meals and overnight at the camp.

DAY 4;Masai mara/Nakuru park
After early breakfast optional visit masai village and after depart to Nakuru national park with picnic lunch on the way arriving in the evening.Dinner and overnight at Buraha Zenoni

Day 5;L.Nakuru/Naivasha
After early breakfast proceed to the park where you will see alot of flamingos among other birds[about 350 species recorded].This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros.The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the Rhino and also home to Columbus monkey leopards,giraffes,and a variety of plain antelope.Later depart to Naivasha arriving in time for late lunch.Enjoy boat ride at crescent Island dinner and overnight at Naivasha Chambai Resort

DAY 6;Naivasha/Amboseli
After breakfast at 7:00 a.m., visit Hellsgate national park where you will have a chance to visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. This is the only park that allows transport by walking and cycling. Afterward, depart to Amboseli with picnic lunch on the way arriving early evening. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Mountain View

Day 7;Amboseli full day
Morning game drive will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt.Kilimanjaro the highest peak in África.You also guaranteed to see the big elephants,giraffes,lions etc.Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Mountain View/Manjaro Tented Camp

Day 8;Amboseli/Nairobi

Pre-morning game drive to see the view of Kilimanjaro and big elephants, lions, zebras etc and other animals. After breakfast depart from Amboseli to Nairobi drop off at your hotel.

The cost for this will be based on group safari $1180 USD each adult with transport Safari Landcruiser
