Dear Marta,
Greetings from IndiGo!
With reference to your email, we understand that you were unable to board your flight due to your arrival at our check-in counters after the stipulated check-in closure time.
We would like to inform you that, as per the terms and conditions accepted at the time of booking, passengers reporting within 60 minutes of departure for domestic flights and 75 minutes of departure for international flights cannot be accepted for travel. This information is also mentioned in the itinerary shared with you at the time of reservation.
According to our records, you reported at the check-in counter after the counter closure time. As a result, our airport staff were unable to process your check-in or permit boarding. We would also like to clarify that our airport team has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report within the stipulated timelines and complete the check-in formalities on time.
We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. However, please note that it is the responsibility of all passengers to complete the check-in process, including baggage drop (if applicable), security checks, and arrival at the boarding gate within the prescribed timelines.
In view of the above, the booking under the referenced PNR has been classified as a No-Show in accordance with our policy. Consequently, the applicable No-Show taxes have been initiated for refund to the original mode of payment.

Para IndiGo
Dear Mr. Aman Shukla,
First of all, thank you for your reply. However, I believe there has been a misunderstanding regarding the circumstances of my case.
I presented myself at the check-in counter at approximately 11:30 a.m., around five hours before the scheduled departure of flight 6E1104.
Your reply states that, according to your records, I reported at the check-in counter after it had closed. Could you please provide the record or evidence on which this statement is based?
The reason given to me at approximately 11:30 a.m. By both the check-in agent and the supervisor at Dhaka Airport was that I could not board because I did not hold an Indian visa. They also referred verbally to clause 12.7.
As a continuation of my original message, I would like to reiterate the following facts:
I was travelling in international transit through Delhi.
I had already completed the same transit through Delhi on my inbound journey on 6 July 2026.
I had already completed online check-in for my Turkish Airlines flight from Delhi to Istanbul and showed this to your staff.
I was travelling with hand luggage only.
For these reasons, I would be grateful if you could kindly review my original letter once again, as my questions were:
Could you please provide the exact wording of clause 12.7?
Was the decision based on your Conditions of Carriage, an internal IndiGo policy, or a requirement of the Indian immigration authorities?
Why was I denied boarding despite reporting several hours before departure?
I would also appreciate your clarification regarding the statement that I arrived after check-in had closed, as this does not correspond to my recollection of the events.
I wish to reiterate that I am not seeking financial compensation. My only objective is to understand why my boarding was denied and whether the decision was taken in accordance with your policies and procedures.
I would sincerely appreciate it if my case could be reviewed once more in light of the facts described above.
If, after reviewing my original letter, you believe that this matter should be handled by another department, I would appreciate it if you could kindly forward my case accordingly.
Thank you in advance for your attention.
Kind regards,
Marta Inda Matossi
