Soy Manuel, nosotros hicimos esa misma ruta el pasado octubre. Unos amigos con quien nos juntamos a través de este foro por aquello de ahorrar costes y nosotros contactamos con diversas empresas vía internet, pero finalmemte fue Carlos quie in situ localizó a una empresa en Arusha con quien ficimos el trekking; Ruta Machame 6 días 5 noches. La empresa es Sunny Safaris. En mí opinión el precio fue muy bueno (+/- 1065 $ cada uno, con las propinas aparte) y ficieron un trabayo profesional y responsable. Los guías muy bien (Amani, Tuma, Minja) y cocineros y porteadores con muy buen rollo (Bryson, Erasto, Baltasar,....).
Para el tema del Safari, nosotros contactamos a través de la ONG Born To Learn, donde estábamos en Moshi (tienen un hostel muy recomendable, Karibu Hostel), con la empresa Pristine Trail Safaris. Negociamos con el responsable, Joel y organizamos algo a la carta, 4 días, 3 noches (2 en Serengeti y 1 en Ngorongoro), en tienda de campaña, y nos salió por unos 575 $ por persona. Fuímos con Kili de driver y George de cocinero y tb muy buen rollo.
Tengo pendiente escribir todo ese periplo africano con más detalle, pero desde nuestro regreso tamos teniendo un montón de compromisos laborales y no encuentro tiempo. Aún tamos organizando las fotos !! Pero espero poder hacerlo en enero y ayudar humildemente a los usuarios del foro con nustras experiencias. Un saludo

Hola, ya se que el ultimo mensaje de este foro es de hace tiempo, pero acabo de volver de un viaje con Voluntarios en el Mundo y mi recomendacion es que os informeis de los proyectos de voluntariado por vuestra cuenta. Voluntarios en el mundo te cobra 300 euros de donativo que no sabemos a que se corresponde. en nuestro caso, fuimos a tanzania y ninguno de los voluntarios que estaba alli habia pagado 300 euros, todo el mundo habia localizado el proyecto por su cuenta. el proyecto se llama BORN TO LEARN y es mucho mejor que lo busqueis por internet y los contacteis directamente. Asier o cualquier otro de los promotores os informaran de lo mismo que hace Voluntarios en el mundo, pero sin cobraros por ir.
Ese es mi consejo.

Yo en Leknes contacté con una empresa de autocares, no con los taxis. Los taxis no me hicieron ni puñetero caso, pero lo puedo volver a intentar, bueno puedo no, lo voy a volver a intentar.

Price specifications - payment
The tour offer includes a price for the tour, with an exact description of what is included in the price. Driving and rest time for the driver must be adapted and performed in accordance with Norwegian law. If during the tour the customer requires services in addition to those previously agreed to and confirmed by us, an invoice for the additional services will be issued when the tour is completed.
An order that amount to more than NOK 20,000 may lead to a claim of deposit in advance.
The total credit period is 10 days. After this period, interest will be charged with 8.75% p. a. Reminder fee is NOK 60 per reminder.
For payment with international bank draft we will add NOK 150 to cover the cost for bank services.
Complaints regarding the invoice must be lodged within 10 days from the date of the invoice.

Cancellation may result in a cancellation fee, depending on how long before the cancellation is notified:

Es la primera vez que iria como voluntaria a otro pais., siempre me anda rondando esa idea en la cabeza y nunca doy el paso...el hecho de ser un pais lejano y desconocido..me echa un poco atrás...Pero en verdad solamente necesito a alguien que se anime a vivir la experiencia y además estoy segura de que seria una experiencia increible.
Anduve mirando webs de ongs y me llamo la atención aquí en el foro el comentario de un chico vasco sobre una ong llamada "born to learn", puedes ver aquí el link..http://www.borntolearntz.org/ . Asi que empecé a ojear un poco la web y parece interesante. No te piden formación especifica...y te costeas tu el viaje y el alojamiento en un hostal en habitaciones de 2 o 4 personas; me parece un precio razonable. Tampoco hay limites de tiempo, puedes estar un mes como si quieres un año..
yo trabajo principalmente el verano y los puentes, por lo que me podrian ir bien los meses de noviembre, enero o incluso febrero. De momento me animaria por un mes...aunk sé que será una experiencia inolvidable y que probablemente repetire...

Estoy contemplando la posibilidad de contratar a los Easy Riders para ir desde Ninh Binh a Hoi An en 6 días. Los 7 anteriores estaremos por Sapa y Halong, y finalizaremos con un par de días en Hoi An para después coger un avión de Danang a Hanoi y salir el 25 por la mañana para España.
A ver si alguien puede echar un vistazo a lo que me han ofrecido y que tal está el itinerario... está en inglés, sorry!

- Take a rowing boat along the tiny canal among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc (Three Grottoes)
2nd day ( 17th Oct ): Thanh Hoa - Nghe An
- Visit Sen village where Ho Chi Minh was born and grown up
- Visit Chua village to learn more about Vietnamese history when you visit the Ba Trieu temple
- Go to different small villages to see the locals make the traditional mats, marble stones
3rd day ( 18th Oct ): Nghe An - Phong Nha cave
- Huong Tich pagoda
- The historic vestige Dong Loc Three Way Crossroad
- The Nguyen Du Great Poet Monument
4th day ( 19th Oct ): Phong Nha cave - Khe Sanh (Quang Tri)
- Take a boat along the Son River to tour the Phong Nha
- Ride through the Sa Mu pass, Lang Ho village
- Continuing follow Ho Chi Minh trail to have a chance to see the real trail with its mind-blowing, spectacular scenery - lots of jungle, mountains, waterfalls and villages of the Paco and Van Kieu Minorities
-Visit the Khe Sanh combat base
5th day ( 20th Oct ): Khe Sanh - Hue
- Climb into the Truong Son foothills, pass the Rock Pile and stop at some villages and beautiful natural springs and waterfalls near the highway
- Stop at Truong Son cemetery
- Visit the Vinh Moc tunnels and explore the Demilitarised Zone, stopping for lunch at the Doc Mieu Firebase
- Visit Quang Tri Old Citadel which was a battlefield in 1972 between North and South Vietnam for 81 days and nights
- Arrive Hue at 5:00pm
6th day (21th Oct): Hue - Da Nang - and finish your trip in Hoi An
- Elephant Springs where you can wade in the rock pools
- Stop for photos at Lang Co Beach
- Ride bike follow Hai Van Pass to have a chance to see the spectacular views
- Travel through Danang
- Marble Mountains
- Finish the trip at 4:30 – 5:00 pm in Hoi An
Please note, these are some primary places, we will show you more interesting things on the route.
It is nice if you can ride bike by yourself. So that the price will be: 60 USD/day/person.
