Los precios para las dahabiyas, son muy variables, depende de varios factores, aparte de os días de la navegación que pueden variar, entre 4 y siete, el punto de partida que puede ser Esna o Luxor, el numero de cabinas que disponga, pues hay Sandals de 2 cabinas hasta dahabiyas de 12 cabinas, así mismo por logica hace variar el precio la categoria de la embarcación y sus servicios, pues las hay con aire acondiconado por ejemplo y las hay de muy sencillas.
También puede dar un precio diferente las visitas que incluya, así como los lugares donde amarre, y por supuesto si se organizan barbacoas u otro tipo de comidas diferentes.
Yo finalmente he reservado la Merit Dahabiya en noviembre. Haremos cuatro noches en El Cairo por libre, una en Luxor para ir más tranquilos, esta travesía y un último día en Abu Simbel o Aswan. Os dejo el itinerario que me han pasado de la travesía por si a alguien le sirve. Todavía pendiente de decidir si hacemos Abu Simbel y Poblado Nubio también con ellos o nos organizamos. The flowers only bloom on certain stretches of the water and you do have to travel some distance in the boat before you see them. Don’t go with romantic notions of being alone with your loved one amongst millions of lotus blooms with nothing but birdsong filling the air. Although the lake is attractive and there is plenty of bird-life on view, it isn’t particularly tranquil. The motors on the boats are noisy and the lake does get busy at weekends and on Thai holidays. Try to visit on a weekday for a more enjoyable experience.

West Bank Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride – We can offer an early morning hot air balloon flight over the Valley of the Kings while watching the sun emerge. When you arrive, you will find your balloons being blown up and glowing in the darkness. From up in the sky you will have a birds’ eye view of the Valley, The Nile River, farmlands and the town of Luxor. The actual flying time is approximately 45 minutes. This pricing on this tour is $80usd per person and includes early morning hotel pick up in a van run by the balloon company.
Full Day East and West Bank Luxor Tour – Enjoy a full day visiting the most famous sites in Luxor on both sides of the River Nile. On the East Bank you will visit the famous Karnak and Luxor temples and on the West Bank you will visit The Valley of the Kings and Queens, Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. This is the best way to see Luxor’s “greatest hits” if you only have a short period of time. This tour includes a driver, late model air-conditioned vehicle and an Egyptologist guide. Entrance fees to the various sites are extra and the fees can be found in the column of your itinerary marked “additional information”.

Luxor to Aswan with stops in Edfu and Kom Ombo temples from hotel – Today you will embark on a journey from Luxor to Aswan. We will begin by picking you up in the lobby of your hotel in Luxor. You will then start the eight hour journey (including two temples stops for one hour each) thru the countryside and towns along the way. The tour includes a safe and reliable driver in a late model air-conditioned vehicle. Entrance fees to the temples are not included but are shown on your itinerary attached in the column labelled “Additional Information”.
The guide (as shown on your itinerary) is optional and can be easily removed if you prefer to go without. The fee to add a guide is $35usd. The guide will join you on your long days’ journey to Kom Ombo and Edfu. Along the way you will have plenty of time to talk about the Egyptian culture, history and the two wonderful temples on your journey. When in Kom Ombo, be certain to check out the famous mummified crocodiles.

yo he leído en algún foro que a una tarjeta oyster de adulto sacada en la máquina solo buscando a un empleado del metro aunque la estación no tenga oficina te puede activar el young visitor discount para un niño menor de 16 años sin foto.

Es donde estoy mirando y nada, no baja de 150€ 3 noches en sitios normalitos y sin aire acondicionado!!! O_O
