...him as my guide for the trekk. The day after he invited me for a tea at his flat and I could see where my money was going. This is not like the big agencies around thamel that clearly have the money already. Here you are helping someone that does his job because he loves it, but also to provide for a family with 2 young daughters. I could see that even though they live in a very humble place, Avi offered me everything I needed. He borrowed me one of his backpacks for the trekk and also told me he would take a hat, gloves, telescopic poles and a sleeping bag that he would carry for me in case I need it. After claryifying the details, he took me to a local place for lunch, where we also met another girl looking for a trekking. Again, Avi was super kind to her and eventhough taking one more person meant more money for him, he talked to me and let me decide if we would take her or not with us. I thought 3 would be better and it would mean more money for Avi, who after Covid struggled to keep his family and house fine. Avi also helped her a lot to find the materials she needed for the trekk and even borrow and carry most of them.
Once in the trekk, Avi is not just a guide, he is a friend. But obviously he knows a lot about the area. We did the Annapurna circuit and as he promised from the beginning, every time he could find us free or cheaper accomodation/food he did it. He also help us constantly to get what we wanted and to feel as much comfortable as possible. For the first days, he shared with us some cucumbers with himalayan salt that he bought in Kathmandu. He was also always there to offer his food in case we were still hungry. And even with the other girl, he stayed for the whole time next to her, walking at her pace and supporting her since she was struggling to accomplish the trekk. He was really supportive with her and even when she decided to quit for health reasons, he helped her organising her transport back down, getting her the best service and the best price (I was there when he was bargaining for the price).
The last part of the trekk we did it alone the 2 of us. I cant be happier of having completed the Annapurna circuit with a friend like Avi. With him I felt safe and that I could always trust him. After we finished, I saw how other tourists had many problems regarding altitude sickness. However, Avi took me through the right steps and together we managed to pass by 5416m without any symptom.
The last days after the pass he stayed with me and some friends we made along the way, helping us finding the best deal for accomodation and the best option for transport (it is pretty bad the situation in the rainy season). There was not a single person of the ones that stayed with us that didnt love Avi and that didnt tell me how lucky I was of having him. He can really charm anyone, its amazing.
But really, if you are thinking of going to Nepal and trekk around the country, just contact Avi. You will inmediately realised that he cares about the person and not about the money, and you will be helping, not only him to pay his debts from Covid, but also yourself, getting for you the best possible guide you can have.
If I ever go back to Nepal, I have no doubt I will visit my friend Avi! The same way he knows he has a place to stay wherever I am!

Nikos Hardalias stated: “In the six areas we mentioned, I think the epidemiological burden is clear and yes, we are one step ahead of taking concrete measures. However, we believe that we can avoid these measures if we can coordinate all those involved in the next 24 hours and make it clear to everyone that special attention is needed to seal all the clusters and confluences that exist in these areas..
"U.S. will not immediately lift travel restrictions - White House official"
WASHINGTON, July 7 (Reuters) - The Biden administration will not immediately lift any international travel restrictions, even as it faces growing pressure from U.S. business groups and lawmakers, a White House official told Reuters on Wednesday.
In June, the administration launched interagency working groups with the European Union, United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico to look at how to lift restrictions and eventually resume travel.
"While these groups have met a number of times, there are further discussions to be had before we can announce any next steps on travel reopening with any country," the White House official told Reuters.
"We have made tremendous progress domestically in our vaccination efforts, as have many of these other countries, but we want to ensure that we move deliberately and are in a position to sustainably reopen international travel when it is safe to do so."
Dear passenger,
First of all, we hope that you and your family are in good health.
For all of us in the family of AEGEAN and Olympic Air, 2020 started on a high, with optimism and vision for the new year and our next steps.
Unfortunately, the unprecedented situation we have all been faced with during the last three months, has forced us to give up doing what we love most, flying with you. We have had to stop flying with you, but we never stopped flying for you, stepping in to be by your side every time we were asked to, no matter how far we had to fly, to bring back to Greece whatever was needed.
Greece has successfully tackled the first phase of the health crisis, making us all very proud of what we have achieved together.
In keeping with the successful national efforts made so far, we are working diligently to face the new challenges raised by the pandemic. Having as absolute priority the health and safety of our passengers and employees and in close cooperation with the authorities, we have already modified the procedures in place for boarding, both at the gate and for aircraft access, and our inflight service. We have also reinforced the protocols for cleaning and disinfecting our aircraft. The use of a face mask has become obligatory for both our passengers and our crews, and from now on, only one personal item will be allowed in the cabin. Furthermore, the last 3 rows of seats will be kept vacant in case we should need to isolate a passenger with potential symptoms. During the week you will receive detailed information of all the protective measures and new procedures that we will be putting in place within the framework of new protocols for safe travelling.
From today, as travel restrictions to the mainland and the island of Crete have been lifted and from next week, to all the Greek islands, we are ready to fly together on our domestic network.
We are getting ready to gradually restore international operations in the coming weeks and months. Initially we plan to restart operations with a limited schedule from Athens to Munich, Frankfurt, Geneva, and Zurich. At the same time, we shall increase flights operating to Brussels, which is the only international destination that we didn’t suspend. Soon, more destinations will be added.
As we adapt to a new way of travelling, we are adjusting our tickets accordingly so that you can travel with more flexibility and confidence. All new tickets issued between 18th May and 15th June 2020, and regardless of flight dates, will have the benefits of the FLEX fare category, so that you can have one piece of checked luggage free of charge and also the...

In conclusion, please be assured that we shall be constantly monitoring developments and learning step by step how to successfully and carefully progress to the next one. thank you very much for your message and your interest in purchasing tickets for one of our exhibitions.
We are currently updating our booking system and improving our visitors’ service. In this context, our on-line shop is being updated at the moment and is therefore currently is only available to a certain extent.
My advise: You can buy the Museum Island Area ticket (18 Euro) on site at our museums. You may buy it at any of our museums on the Museumisland, however we recommend purchasing the ticket at Bode Museum or Altes Museum in order to avoid long waiting times.
In order to avoid long waiting times in front of the Pergamon Museum you should book timeslot tickets (0 Euro).
Please visit secure.smb.museum/smb/tickets/

Aloha!
Me and my partner are really excited about our next trip from Wales to Hawaii and we'd like to ask for some advice.
We've been planning our trip for months, and just the last few weeks before the trip we started to book all the places we want to visit.
We weren't aware the bookings for Haleakala sunrise would be gone so quick and now there are no options to book. We've check as we read, there are 30 tickets released the day before, but we've check everyday and we haven't seen anything available at all.
We wonder if anyone going the 25th of May, Friday, would kindly take us with you as per our understanding what runs out is the parking slots, but not per person, so once there it's not a problem how many people by car.
That would be amazing if ee can finally make it!
Many thanks
Irene and JuanMa

...2 June, the Troika-Podorozhnik card will be accepted on all types of public transit in Moscow and St Petersburg.
The integrated Troika and Podorozhnik cards used in Moscow and St Petersburg will be available at Komsomolskaya metro station in Moscow and Ploshchad Vosstaniya in St Petersburg starting 2 June. Within a month, they will be sold at all other metro stations in the two cities. The integrated card will be especially useful to tourists and those who often make business trips.
“The introduction of modern methods to pay public transport fares is a priority for the St Petersburg authorities, who want transit around the city to be more convenient for residents and visitors alike. The Sapsan high-speed trains between Moscow and St Petersburg carried over 4.8 million passengers last year. The number of frequent travellers between the two cities is high. The integration of these two cards will make travel more convenient. I’m sure that residents and visitors in Moscow and St Petersburg will appreciate the advantages of the integrated card,” said St Petersburg Deputy Governor Igor Albin.
The cards are identical technically but will look slightly different, with their dominant feature depending on the city where the card is issued. The card’s technical features include two e-wallets for use in Moscow and St Petersburg and the possibility of adding tickets for Russian Railways’ Central Suburban Passenger Company and the Moscow-Tver Suburban Passenger Company.
“Moscow’s ticket system is being upgraded regularly. The Troika card was issued in 2013 and can now be used for all types of municipal transit and also for admission to city skating rinks, the Moscow Planetarium and the Tretyakov Gallery. The next step is the integration of the Troika and Podorozhnik cards. This is a big step forward for the two cities,” said Kirill Yankov, head of the Passengers Union, an interregional NGO to protect passengers’ rights.
Tickets for the routes served by the North-West Suburban Passenger Company will be added to the card in September. The Unified ticket that is accepted in Moscow can be added to the integrated card.
The multifunctional Troika card was integrated with the Strelka commuter travel card used in the Moscow Region in August 2016. Over 120,000 integrated cards have been sold since then.
“Close cooperation was initiated between the transit systems of Moscow and St Petersburg on orders from the cities’ governments. Integrated cards are usually very popular, as Troika/Strelka has shown. Unified cards make the use of the public transit system more convenient for passengers from different regions. Demand for the integrated Troika-Podorozhnik card will be especially high during the 2017 Confederations Cup and 2018 World Cup matches. The Strelka card could be subsequently added to the integrated system of transport tickets in Moscow and St Petersburg,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow and Head of the Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure.
The Troika is the most popular travel card in Moscow and the world. To date, some 11.6 million Troika cards have been sold. Troika cards are used to pay for over 63 percent of trips in the metro and over 70 percent on surface transit.
The Troika card can also be used to buy tickets to the Tretyakov Gallery and the Lunarium Interactive Museum of the Moscow Planetarium, as well as to the Gorky Park and VDNKh skating rinks in the...

Rental car suppliers sometimes have restrictions or additional fees for rentals picked up and dropped off in different locations, to be paid locally.
Should a one way fee be applicable, the final price and one way fee cannot be calculated until you choose a specific pick-up and drop-off location.
The next steps are as follows:
1. Choose your car rental supplier and car group
2. Choose your final pick-up and drop-off location
3. Complete car rental booking including cost of rental and one way
...depends on whether you began the journey on Metro or directly at Pont de Sèvres bus station.
If using regular Metro/Bus tickets (which are same type of tickets: Paris Metro Ticket T+) you’ll need two tickets with total cost of 3.60€, one way (price valid as of January 2015). One ticket will be used for the Metro to Pont de Sèvres and another ticket for Bus 171 from Pont de Sèvres to Versailles, which is in Zone 4 and the Metro only covers Zones 1-2.
Side note: Regular Metro tickets, once used for the Metro, are never valid for transfers onto buses. Transfers from Metro to RER trains are permitted, as are transfers from bus to bus, but you cannot transfer from Metro/RER trains to buses or vice versa using the same Paris Metro ticket. To complicate things a bit further, bus tickets purchased on board buses… are not valid for transfer, even from bus to bus and cost more, €2 vs. €1.80.
If you are within walking distance to the bus station, you’ll only need one Metro/Bus Ticket T+ for the bus ride 1,80 €. As noted above, try to purchase a ticket before you arrive at the bus, since the driver will charge you 2€ if buying on board. (Note: a carnet or booklet of single-use Paris bus/Metro tickets can be purchased at a slight discount, and it makes sense if you’ll be traveling to other places as the tickets are used for all forms of transportation within the city of Paris. See Paris Metro Tickets for more details).
Zone 1-4 day passes good for Metro, train, bus (Ticket Mobilis) and Zone 1-4 Navigo week passes are valid for travel to Versailles. For Ticket Mobilis, which is actually a paper ticket, insert the ticket into the ticket reader/validator next to the driver, about the size of a tissue box, attached lengthwise vertically from a pole. The machine should light-up a green rectangle confirming the ticket is valid. For Navigo cards, simply hold the pass against the purple part of the ticket reader/validator to validate your pass has the correct zones purchased.
To return from Versailles to Paris by bus you’ll need to take Bus 171 from the stop on the opposite side of the street from your arrival on Bus 171. It should be the first bus stop you encounter when walking directly back from Chateau de Versailles along Avenue de Paris. Here’s a Google Map view with the bus actually at the stop."
Joy and Sadness to Join Baymax in Newly Expanded Epcot Character Spot
Epcot Character Spot, located in the heart of Future World at Epcot, is being expanded to give you an opportunity to meet even more of your Disney friends.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy are on hand in their cartoon clubhouse of the future, happy to take a break from creating their latest innovation to make new friends or welcome back old pals. Across the way, you can also step into a makeshift robotics workshop and spend time with Baymax, everyone’s favorite personal healthcare companion from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Big Hero 6.”
And beginning next month, Epcot Character Spot will provide direct access to Headquarters, where you can meet Joy and Sadness, two of the Emotions who help guide Riley through life in the Disney•Pixar film “Inside Out.” On the way to Headquarters, you’ll journey through Riley’s long-term memory, catching a glimpse of her Islands of Personality before joining Joy and Sadness at the console.
Kenny the pirate también lo confirma
Kenny Escribió:
Disney Parks has just confirmed that Joy and Sadness from Inside Out will be coming to Epcot next month as I told you recently in a Rumor Roundup. You’ll find them in the same area as Baymax opposite the Mickey, Minnie and Goofy meet in what Disney terms the “expanded Character Spot.”

Most eTA applications are approved within minutes of applying.
However, some requests may need more time to process. If this is the case for your application, you can expect an email from CIC within 72 hours that tells you what your next steps are.
As the eTA program is new, definitive processing times are not yet available. This page will be updated when this information is available.

You will be notified by email when your eTA is approved. Your eTA is linked to the passport you used in your eTA application. You will need to present the passport you used to apply for your eTA to airline staff each time you board a flight to Canada.
Hello Vinsensius,
We finished our Komodo tour 10 days ago and you have not asked us anything about how it was. Well, I am going to give you feedback anyway and tell you my next steps about it.
We are very happy that we decided to go to Komodo because the place is really beautiful but we found your attitude, organization and quality of the service as absolutely HORRIBLE. I tell you why:
- Your only interest from us was to be paid. First with the international transfer that we had to do with a cost of 500.000 Rupis; and then because we had to pay you all the rest as soon as we arrived in the car. After we paid you, we knew NOTHING about you, we did not hear anything from you.
- The planning of the trip was changed by you and you just told me when we had already paid.
- We expected to do a trek of 3 hours in Komodo island and when we arrived the office was closed so we had to do the short one.
- We had no details about the trip, just a conversation of 2 minutes with you. Absolutely not enough.
- The staff of the boat did not speak english (UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!) so we could not ask anything about the islands or even what we were going to do each day, how long we could stay in each spot... NOTHING!!!!
- We saw ther boats during the trip and our boat was the worst by far.
- I told you about the toilet before you went away and you did nothing. We saw other boats toilets and they were clean.
- We found lots of COCKROACH and bugs in the bathroom.
- We did not have a place to stay upstairs with hammocks as other boats have.
- We finished our trip at 11 am the last day so we had to wait so long in the airport, when we could have stayed in the boat snorkeling or sunbathing.
- And the last thing is that you told us you will send a driver to drop us off in the airport. But you sent a taxi that WE HAD TO PAY!!! Another extra cost!!
The conclusion is that all you care about is your money so you try to give the cheapest service to get more money. You don't care at all about the client.
My next step, now that I can't do anything from my country, is to write my opinion about your service in several forums. I don't want that other tourist trust in you as I did and have the same bad service we received.
