El Kilimanjaro lo vimos al segundo día en Amboseli 2 horas y no de forma nítida, es complicado verlo bien en Agosto, pero bueno supongo que me conformo…je je
Fui a Tanzania ( que también salí contento y pagué muy muy poco), Comoras, Uganda( ese ya es más caro porque chimps y gorilas ya son 1000 usd), Burundi, Ruanda y Sudán del Sur ( este último con mala calidad precio en general y muchas particularidades pero tribus 💯 auténticas) también entre otros, a ver si pongo algunas updates para la gente, siempre intentando que la gente no malgaste dinero ( yo soy profe de primaria y al viajar a África hay que tener muchísimo cuidado con lo que se paga)
Por cierto si alguien quiere venir a Yemen conmigo ( yo 40 años) en enero probablemente a partir del 11 enero, vía Egipto ( mainland+ socotra) Que me mande privado.
He de conseguir a alguien que venga conmigo je je para que nos salga rentable… solo es mucho más caro

Pego aquí parte del extracto de un mensaje sobre los Parques de Uganda que he dejado en el hilo general.
Aquí explico mi experiencia con los chimpancés:
BUDONGO (Chimpancés)
El tercer día por la mañana, fuimos al sur del parque Murchison Falls y fuimos al bosque Budongo, concretamente al sitio ecoturístico Kaniyo-Pabidi. Aquí hicimos la actividad de los chimpancés.
Según te vas acercando a la zona de Budongo, por el camino vas viendo bosque a los lados de la carretera y hay muchos monos babuinos acampando en los laterales de la carretera (y en todo el medio también! ).
En Budongo te reciben en una zona de recepción abierta, te presentan a tu guía y te hacen la explicación de la actividad. Hay baños en otro edificio cerca del de recepción, así que puedes ir al wc antes y después de la actividad.
El bosque es una jungla tropical bastante densa, en la que tienes que irte quitando lianas de diferentes grosores de la cabeza, manos y pies para poder pasar , así que es muy recomendable llegar guantes para irte quitando ramas según vas pasando bosque a través.
Es la selva más espesa en la que he estado en mi vida. Increíble, una maravilla.
Tuvimos la mala suerte de que como estaba el suelo algo húmedo, los chimpancés estaban todos en las copas de los árboles (a bastantes metros de altura) y no bajaron al suelo en ningún momento. Aún así, nos fuimos moviendo por el bosque buscando chimpancés y vimos unos cuantos. Estaban bastante tranquilos comiendo hojas en las ramas.
Desde el Covid hay que ponerse mascarilla cuando estás cerca de los chimpancés, para no contagiarles ninguna enfermedad.
Para esta excursión es aconsejable llevar prismáticos, guantes, manga larga y pantalón largo donde te puedas meter el pantalón dentro del calcetín o llevar polainas. Hay unas hormigas (les llaman "safari ants") que se te suben por los pantalones y muerden . En el bosque hace bastante calor porque el clima es húmedo, así que un abanico también va bastante bien para bajar un poco los calores que se pasan .
Al finalizar la actividad y volver a la zona de recepción donde estaban los jeeps, había muchísimas mariposas blancas que se posaban por encima de las mochilas y encima de ti .
Estuvimos en esa zona unas 4h.
De ahí nos trasladamos toda la tarde hacia la selva de Bugoma.
Actualmente tengo una compañera de trabajo en Uganda que ha viajado con la agencia de España - The Rift Valley - y ella ha visitado 3 puntos de Chimpancés. Los dejo aquí como referencia, porque yo no he estado en ellos: Endogo, Kibale y Garganta Kyambura.
Bueno, pues lo prometido es deuda. Hace ya 3 semanas que volví de Uganda y sigo flotando en la nube de este país tan verde y precioso con el que me encontré. Me ha encantado.
Obviamente, no es un Kenia o un Tanzania que tienen mogollón de animales, pero excepto Ñus que no hay y guepardos, que están en un parque del norte-norte, hemos visto todos los animales habituales que se ven en cualquier safari. No hay hordas de animales y algunos están lejos, pero verlos los hemos visto todos.
Y este país tiene el plus de todos los "monitos", que eran el objetivo de mi viaje, así que he vuelto enamorada perdida de Uganda. Una maravilla de destino.
Yo contraté un tour organizado en España porque viajaba sola por primera vez y quería ir con más gente. Contratar en destino igual me hubiera supuesto ir sola y no quería eso... En destino me juntaron con 2 parejas de italianos que no se conocían de nada. En total 5 pax en un jeep para 6 pax.
En España la agencia que elegí fue Viajes Tuareg (operador local "Destination Jungle"), pero hay otras agencias en España que hacen el mismo viaje o muy similar.
La agencia con el itinerario que más me gustó fue Rift Valley Expeditions (operador local "Muafrika"), pero no me cuadraban las fechas ni la duración del viaje (yo hice 10 días en total). Una compañera de trabajo está ahora mismo con Rift Valley 12 días y está viendo los animales mucho más cerca de lo que los vi yo .
Separo la experiencia en varios posts para que no se hagan tan largos y por si los moderadores quieren moverlos de hilos según convenga. Haré 1 post sobre los Parques y 1 post sobre los Alojamientos.
Esa envidia siempre es de la buena, nunca hay envidia mala entre viajeros empedernidos como es este maravilloso grupo .
Ya os contaré, sí. Y dejaré toda la información posible en los hilos aunque vaya en un viaje organizado.
Me gustaba más el itinerario de Rift Valley que el mío de Viajes Tuareg pero por fechas y duración me iba mejor el mío así que, a disfrutar de lo que me encuentre! Expectativas zero para disfrutarlo todavía más!!! 🚀

Un permiso de importación para turistas de 30 días veo que sería la única opción.

Otra formula muy usada y que da satisfaccion al viajero, es un mix, una mezcla entre organizado y libre, es reservar o contratar desde aqui vuelos, transportes interiores entre ciudades y hoteles, y contratar un guia o varios para realizar las visitas a los diferentes lugares.
Pero lo que pasa es que estas intentando hacerlo para esta semana santa, y eso es dentro de muy pocos dias, esta complicado , hay mucha gente, pocos guias para este boom, y las infraestructuras estan a rebosar, seguramente solo se puede hoy por hoy hacer algo sumandose a algun viaje organizado, pero sabiendo el problema de que podeis encontrarlo todo masificado, no se... todo lo que te digo es contradictorio...

Pick up from airport and depart to Naivasha with a stopover at the
Great Rift Valley to admire the Scenic beauty of the Escarpments
arriving after 2 hours.After lunch Visit Hells gate National park
where you will have a chance to visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Ol
Karia and the Hot Springs.This is the only park that allows transport
by walking and cycling.Dinner and overnight at Naivasha dove nest
hotel.
Day 2;Naivasha/Nakuru.
After early breakfast at 6.30am visit Cresent Island for boat ride
as you watch hippos plus other wild animals for about 1 hour.After
depart
to Nakuru with picnic lunch spend the rest of the day to see many
flamingoes among other birds[about 350 species recorded].This is
also home to the black and the white rhinoceros.The park has also been
established for the protection of endangered species such as the
Rhino and also home to Columbus
monkeys leopards,giraffes,and a variety of plain antelope.Dinner and
overnight at Lanet Martfam resort for budget accomodation.
Day 3;Nakuru/Masai mara
After early breakfast at 7.00am depart to masai mara arriving in
time for lunch.Proceed for evening game drive insearch of black manned
lions, elephants,leopards,cheetah,buffaloes and other plain
game.Dinner and overnight at Mara Lenchada tented camp
Day 4;Masai mara full day
After early breakfast with picnic lunch you spent full day exploring
this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous
Serengeti National Park.You have the chance to visit Mara river the
boarder of Masai mara and the famouse Serengeti park where there is
concentration of many animals especially the time you will be
travelling.All meals and overnight at the camp.
DAY 5;Masai mara Full day
After breakfast you spend another day to see the animals in the Park
by visiting different areas, with a hope of seeing more of wild
animals and those you might missed on the previous full day.Picnic
lunch inside the park under a tree near the masai mara river.Later
in the evening there is optional visit masai villages.Dinner and
overnight at the camp.
DAY 6;Masai mara /Nairobi
After early morning game drive at 6.30am followed by breakfast
depart to Nairobi with picnic lunch on the way arriving at around 4pm.Drop
off at your hotel.

1 dia: Nairobi-Nakuru (viendo Nakuru ese dia) Es un parque pequeño.
2 dia: Nakuru-Naivasha-Masai Mara (durmiendo ya en Masai Mara)
Resto de días en Masai Mara.
No dormiría una noche en Naivasha y otra en Nakuru. Lo veo excesivo.
El plato fuerte es Masai Mara.
En mi humilde opinion, haces bastante masai-mara, por lo que estan bien metidos los lagos, por conocer algun sitio más. 6 dias dan para bastante. Al final haces dos dias completos MM y la tarde de elque llegas y la mañana de el que te vas, medio y medio que suman otro dia mas... Creo es bastante...
