A ver el tema es que en China existe un bloqueo a diversos sitios de Google, Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, Youtube, etc...Y hay sitiios web que estan vetados y a la hora de acceder te da error. Si realmente necesitas conectarte tendras que instalarte algun programa VPN para poder saltarte el bloqueo. Leete esto para que veas a que me refiero:

Lo más importante son los primeros 3 días. Mis dudas, que me estoy volviendo loca... leyendo el foro y mirando en google maps... Qué me recomendáis para ir a los arrozales? Dazhai?? Sí, Dazhai en mi opinión tiene los mejores "spots"
Noche allí en un hotel o se puede dormir en casas o cómo va eso? Lo comento porque hice una excursión parecida en Vietnam y dormimos en casa de una tribu, viaje organizado claro. Hay algunos alojamientos por allí. Casas como para quedarse a dormir, no
En cuanto a hacer trekking, está bien señalizado para hacerlo por nuestra cuenta o mejor coger una excursión? Está suficientemente bien señalizado porque básicamente solo hay un camino. No obstante, con el GPS del móvil iréis aún más seguros.
Si lo puedo hacer esas dos cosas (arrozales+crucero) quizá quitaría el cuarto día... no sé... qué os parece? Exacto. Ese cuarto día lo podrías eliminar para dedicarlo a algo más interesante

Day 2,
Take private car to and visit Bai li xin cun.Bailixincun is an rural area with villages and beautiful landscapde near Yangshuo town and Li River.
It is a New and less spoiled area: off the beaten track, where you will see the real rural villages.
(1): See local agriculture: kumquat orchards, pomeloes, chestnuts, to see how the farmers use organic fertilizer and how to avoid the soil flowing away with the water.
(2): See gorgeous mountain views: Buddha Hill, Eagle Hill, Snail Hill, Mummy_baby Hill, Xianggongshan Hill, Horse Face Hill:
The mountain views looks like paintings: the colour changes from Dark to Light according to the distance from near to far. You can see the wonderful karst peaks layer after layer.
(3): Play the echoes against the hills behind hills at the Echoes Valley to get the Quick Echoe; Triple Echoe with scare, weak and long sound,
Look down at Li Rive from tops of mountains; to see and take photos of the gorgeous landscape of Li River and karst mountains.
(4): Climb up to the top of Xianggongshan Hill to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Li River and mountains.
Xianggongshan Hill is a place for many couples to go there for wedding photos.
2, Take private car to and enjoy the beautiful views of Wulong: rice fields, karst peaks.
3, Take private car to Yangdi.
During the way stop near Yangdi to take romantic photos before Kissing Hill.
Do Li River cruising by taking raft from Yangdi to Xingping( nine horse hill dock ) and back to Yangdi.
4, Take private car to Fuli Bridge. It is an ancient arc stone bridge with nice views.

Day 3,

It is flat, quiet and the air is flesh, so it is very good for hiking and taking photos. It is also a good place to see bamboos.

Estoy organizando mi ruta de China y tengo unas dudas, a ver qué os parece. En la zona de Guilin queremos pasar unos 4 días
Día 1 - Excursión arrozales
Día 2 - Arrozales y vuelta a Guilin
Día 3 - Crucero Río Li hasta Yangshuo
Día 4 - Duda qué hacer

Gracias por tus observaciones. La verdad es que aun estoy hecho un lio con esto de las rutas, formas de desplazarse, etc. Parece que es un poco mas complicado que en Japón, pero haber que sale. Entonces en base a lo que dices dejaría el itinerario de la siguiente manera, a ver si queda mejor.
05 Oct. Llegada a las 9:30 al aeropuerto de Shangai. Resto del dia en Shangai (pudong, nanjing road) . Noche ahi.
06 y 07 Oct. Visita a la ciudad por el dia. En la noche del 07 de oct tomar tren nocturno a beijing.
08- 13 Oct. Dias libres en beijing para conocer los atractivos de la ciudad y la gran muralla. La noche del 13 de octubre viajar en tren hacia xian.
14. Dia libre en xian para conocer atractivos
15. Tomar tren rapido muy temprano hacia pingayo, conocer la ciudad. y por la tarde noche volver a xian en el mismo tren para dormir.
16. Terminar de visitar xian. En la tarde noche tomar vuelo xian-guilin. Noche en guilin.
17. Dia libre en guilin para conocer atractivos de la ciudad.
18. Por la mañana muy temprano ir a los arrozales y las aldeas. Regresar a guilin a dormir.
19. Por la mañana muy temprano tomar el crucero por el rio lijian que llega hasta yangshuo. Recorrer yangshuo. Noche en yangshuo.
20. Tomar autobus muy temprano hacia guilin. En la estacion de buses de guilin tomar transporte hacia al aeropuerto de guilin (seria en autobus?) para poder tomar vuelo hacia shangai. Resto del dia libre en shangai.
21. Por la madrugada ir al aeropuerto para tomar vuelo de vuelta a Mexico.
Como podras notar quite un dia a beijing para poder visitar pingyao. Realmente creen que vale mucho la pena dicha ciudad o que es una visita realmente imprescindible?, aun con los pocos días que estoy en china (16 efectivos)? Me gustaría mucho saber la opinión a este respecto , de quienes han visitado esa ciudad y ya sobre ello poder decidir si incluirla o no en el itinerario, pues soy de las personas que me gusta ver pocas ciudades pero bien vistas, a ver muchas en poco tiempo y mal.
Los primeros 3 dias que le dedico a shangai me pillan justo en los ultimos dias de la semana de vacaciones chinas. Creen que los atractivos de dicha ciudad esten atiborrados de turistas chinos y por ende no pueda disfrutar como se debe a shangai? o no es para tanto?
Otra cosa, me recomiendan pasar noche en yangshuo?

Sigo viendo que das muchas vueltas innecesarias. Me imagino que el hecho de entrar por Shangai y salir por alli es porque ya tienes los billetes de avion comprados de esa manera o que te sale mas barato asi porque tambien podrias entrar por Beijing directamente y salir por Shangai. dices que solo tienes 16 dias pero tampoco veo mucha variedad en tu itinerario, hay gente que incluso con menos dias, tiene mas variedad. Para que te hagas una idea yo con 15 dias estoy en Beijing, Datong, Pingyao, Xian, Zhangjiajie, Guilin y Shangai.
Si quieres entrar y salir por Shangai yo modificaria algunas cosas.
Uno el trayecto de Shangai a Beijing yo lo haria en avion. En tren el ultimo tren de shangai es sobre las 21 horas y el trayecto dura unas 12 horas, vas a llegar reventado. Si lo haces en avion puedes hacerlo o bien a ultima hora del dia y hacer... Leer más ...

Es el plan perfecto y de hecho es el que hicimos nosotros pero a la inversa (bus a Ping’an, trekking de Ping’an a Dazhai, noche en Dazhai, bus desde Dazhai a Guilin).
Lo único que me gustaría aconsejarte es que una vez que empieces a andar hacia Ping’an tengas margen suficiente para poder llegar a Ping’an con algo de luz. Nosotros llegamos un poco justos y la verdad que acojonaba la idea de quedarnos sin luz en mitad del camino. No hay ni Dios xD
Son arrozales eternos, por lo que lo unico que hay es un sendero que los comunica.
El unico transporte llega a la base de Ping'an o Dazhai. De ahí a los puntos de interés es andar y subir

Muchas gracias laura por tu respuesta. Perdón por seguir atosigando con preguntas pero se me ha ocurrido una alternativa.
Si quisiéramos estar el día completo en los arrozales y al día siguiente tras ver el amanecer, desayunar y dar la vuelta para ir a yangshuo se me ocurre la opción de ir de Guilin a Dazhai (me suena haber leído que hay autobuses que hacen eso), ver el pueblo y hacer el trekking hasta Ping'an donde haremos noche y veremos por los alrededores el atardecer para al día siguiente madrugar e ir a Guilin y de ahí a Yangshuo.
Son arrozales eternos, por lo que lo unico que hay es un sendero que los comunica.
El unico transporte llega a la base de Ping'an o Dazhai. De ahí a los puntos de interés es andar y subir
Al final -animado por vuestros consejos- pasaré de visitar guilin y haré noche en Ping'an por lo que durante el día haremos la ruta de trekking que comentáis. Sólo una consulta, la vuelta también tendría que ser en el coche de San Fernando (un ratito a pie y otro andando) o por el contrario hay transporte público entre ambos puntos.
Lo unico que hice con él fue el river cruise de Yangdi a Xinping y fue perfecto.
Lo demás, sinceramente es más divertido y libre hacerlo por tu cuenta. Y muchas cosas me parecen prescindibles
