Hola, alguien ha hecho el Cabot Trail en Cape Breton, Nova Scotia?? Estaremos 3-4 días 3 noches, y me gustaría saber si es mejor en el sentido de las agujas del reloj o diferente, y si es preferible pillar 3 alojamientos diferentes y así no volver a atrás.

The scenery you experience while traveling the Cabot Trail will be vastly different depending on the direction you choose to travel—clockwise or counterclockwise—but either way, the views are breathtaking.
It’s a debatable dilemma. Driving counter-clockwise will allow you to be shore-side for much of the time hugging the shoulder, whereas clockwise will not give you the jitters from the sheer drops on the edge. The choice is really up to you.
Driving counter-clockwise may give you a better view of some of the more spectacular ocean vistas along the way. While this direction is less popular (it's billed as the direction for the brave driver), it may be easier to handle if you dislike slow traffic, as fewer people travel counter-clockwise.

Intentariamos visitar Brunswick, Nova Scotia y Prince Edward Island además de Newfoundland en unas 3 semanas o un poco más
La idea es ferry hasta newfoundland...y ver como cuadran...sidney argentia o sidney port aux basques...si entramos por uno lo ideal sería salir por el otro...pero ya te digo, está muy verde _________________ To look is one thing,

Muchas cosas han pasado desde el ultimo mensaje. Espero todo vaya bien
Tengo una pregunta y es si alguien puede saber si el 1 de Julio se va a poder viajar de turismo a la costa oeste de Canada?, tengo vuelos reservados y pagados con Airtransat y veo difícil que este año viajemos y aun mas difícil que la compañía aérea suelte el dinero sin mas.
Tendría que empezar a sacarme el visado pero no se si perder tiempo y dinero si al final no voy a viajar.
Alguno estáis en esta situación?
Yo tenía previsto viajar a las marítimas de canadá en septiembre...lo he dejado correr...

Las mareas del Cabo Hopewell (New Brunswick, Canadá) son famosas a nivel mundial. Es considerado el lugar de más contraste entre las mareas en Canadá (habiéndose registrado en una ocasión una marea de 21m).
La bahía de Fundy, donde se encuentra este cabo, es mundialmente conocida por sus grandes mareas, según algunas fuentes las más altas del mundo.
Existe una leyenda que dice que las mareas de la bahía de Fundy están causadas por una ballena gigante que agita el agua.
Los oceanógrafos explican de un modo más científico el fenómeno: el período que toma el oleaje para ir de un extremo a otro de la bahía y el tiempo entre dos mareas altas (12,4 horas) es similar. Estos dos fenómenos entran pues en resonancia y amplían la diferencia entre la marea alta y la marea baja.
