Y mientras todo el país está que arde contra los turistas, la corona islandesa ha perdido en cinco semanas el 11,23% de su valor y los medios apenas hablan de ello. Esta semana os vamos a aportar la información necesaria para entender esta rápida devaluación e intentar analizar qué puede suceder en los próximos meses. ¿Es una simple fluctuación de una moneda muy inestable o hay algo más? En El Faro de Reykjavík no tenemos una bola mágica, pero hablaremos con expertos para que nos den algunas pistas.

Ultimamente se estan devaluando muchas monedas y todas respecto al euro... Nos sale mas barato comprar fuera, pero nos cuesta mas vender fuera...

Hoy aparece en El País un artículo completo, aunque compuesto de generalidades, sobre el impacto del turismo en la economía islandesa a estas alturas del boom turístico.
Lo más increíble, aparte de que varios turistas hayan muerto haciéndose selfies en la playa de Reinisfjara, es que las enfermeras abandonen sus empleos para ganar más dinero... Como tripulantes de cabina Shocked Si eso fuera cierto, cosa que me permito dudar, significaría que en Islandia las enfermeras están muy mal pagadas xD

Esperemos que el turismo respete la Isla y no se desborde , porque los paisajes naturales que son la razón mas importante para viajar Islandia, suelen ser muy sensibles a la presencia humana....
