Yo utilizo habitualmente powerbank en mis viajes pero mis compañeras no (y en ocasiones acaban tirando de la mía) pero en este viaje que se usa "tanto" el teléfono ya les dejé en claro que se comprasen una porque no iba a compartir la mía, al final nos la tendremos que comprar todas. Creo (y pongo la mano en el fuego a que no me equivocaré) que nos van a salir mas baratas allí que aquí, casi seguro.
De todas formas, la prohibición es sólo para powerbanks, no? otros elementos electrónicos pasan sin problema... En mi caso llevo baterías extra para mi cámara réflex.

Hola viajo a California el 15 de noviembre del 2024 y el pasaporte de mi hijo vence en enero de 2025 , quiero tramitar el Está para q pueda entrar a los Estados Unidos pero normalmente piden 6 meses de vigencia para no tener problema, q podría hacer por q la renovación tardaría después de la fecha del viaje
Hola, si tiene nacionalidad española no es necesario que tenga 6 meses de vigencia, basta con que no caduque mientras estáis allí. España pertenece al Six Month Club, una lista de países que para USA están exentos de esa regla de los 6 meses:

Nosotros tenemos vuelo de Can Tho a DaNang el sábado 2. Estamos planteando en cambiarlo o incluso desestimarlo.
La otra es volar y pasar unos días tranquilos en HoiAn, si no se ha visto afectada por las riadas. Esto lo desconozco porque no he podido encontrar nada de info.
Y después intentar saltar de alguna manera a Dong Hoi para visitar Phong Nha. Que tampoco sabemos cómo está la situación por ahí...
En cuanto a Vietnam Rails es el único operador de tren? Hasta donde sabemos el tren era un servicio estupendo. Me sorprende vuestra mala experiencia, que por supuesto es la que nos prima.
Nosotros estamos ahora mismo en Hoi An, que llegamos ayer desde Hue. Aquí el río se ha desbordado un poco por las orillas y hay alguna que otra acera cubierta por el agua, pero nada importante. Hoy ha hecho un día bueno porque no llueve ni hace calor pero nada de sol. Aprovechamos para alquilar una moto e ir a My Son y dar una vuelta por toda la zona rural. Pasamos por la playa de Ang Beach y estaba muy malo. Mucho viento, nublado y la arena repleta de restos arrastrados por la riada.
El billete de tren y algunas otras cosas las compramos a través de Phuong Vu, que tiene la agencia Holiday Travelling en Hanoi. La verdad que se ha portado genial y le comentamoa lo que nos pasó. Te pego su respuesta:

This train is government working and they don’t have good service , also in Vietnam they don’t have rules for flight company or train have to make anything for customers if they delay or cancel flight or train . Básicamente que los trenes que opera directamente Vietnam Railways los gestiona el gobierno y tienen mal servicio. Lo comprobamos in situ al ver como los vagones que gestionaban otros operadores estaba vacios cuando llegamos a las tantas a Hue.
El mismo tren tiene vagones operados por compañías privadas como Lanman Express, Lotus Express, Violet... Y luego vagones de Vietnam Railways. Los de operadores privados tienen alguna que otra pijadita mejor pero se paga. No compensa en general salvo casos como estos, donde se nota el mejor servicio.
Jode bastante porque la gente que salió al mismo tiempo que nosotros de Ninh Binh en bus llegaron sin problema y encima el día que pasamos atascados en el tren en Hue hizo bueno.
Además aquí de la misma forma que sube rápido el agua, también baja e igual en un par de días en Hue esta todo OK. Lo mejor es tener planes más o menos abiertos e ir planeando a días vista. Justo nosotros el lunes hacemos el recorrido inverso al vuestro y volamos a Can Tho desde Danang.
Me alegro que poco a poco estéis dejando atrás toda esa odisea!

Además aquí de la misma forma que sube rápido el agua, también baja e igual en un par de días en Hue esta todo OK. Lo mejor es tener planes más o menos abiertos e ir planeando a días vista. Justo nosotros el lunes hacemos el recorrido inverso al vuestro y volamos a Can Tho desde Danang.

En una de las respuestas a mis múltiples reclamaciones, me contestaron que ahora se puede cobrar el importe de los bonos en efectivo en cualquier oficina de Aeroflot. El problema es que en Europa no hay ninguna oficina, pero si da la casualidad que alguien viaja a una ciudad en la que haya una (por ejemplo, Istambul) es una opción a probar.
