Hola! Estamos organizando un viaje a Hawaii para finales de enero. La idea es estar en 4 islas- Oahu Kauai, Big I. Y Maui.
Estamos viendo precios y estamos realmente asustados con MAUI.... Muchos hablais de B&B y AIRNNB .... Acepto gustosa contactos de alojamiento.
Por otra parte... He leído mucho y veo q casi todos os inclinais por 2 noches en Maui. 1-2 en Oahu y 3 en BI y Kauai según rutas a hacer....
No sé si será demasiado estresante... de ahí q me plantee quitar Maui solo por precio de alojamiento.... Aunque esa carretera de Hana....
En fin... Si me podéis ayudar con tema de alojamiento para no descartar....
Es q es tenporada mega alta??? Habrá algún evento???

No puedo dejar de pasarme por aquí para daros las gracias @flotas y @wanderlust por la recomendación... Recientemente he recibido las Hawaii Revealed correspondientes a Big Island (octava edición, de 2017) y Kauai (décima edición, 2018) y no solo recogen un montón de información sobre las islas y mapas super-útiles, sino que llevo un buen rato descojonándome de risa yo sola, leyendo concretamente la de Big Island que es la que tengo empezada. La de Oahu está en camino... Seguro que no defrauda.
Tengo también la Lonely Planet "Lo mejor de Hawaii" y ni punto de comparación, me sumo a la recomendación sobre las Hawaii Revealed (todo un descubrimiento para mí, soy fan del autor desde ya ).
Por poner un ejemplo, en el apartado "Hazards" (peligros) encontramos las siguientes perlas :
- The hazard that affects by far the most people (excluding the accommodation tax) is the sun.
- In general, don't go around worrying about sharks. Any animal can be threatening (even Jessica Alba was once rudely accosted by an overly affectionate male dolphin)
- Try to not fall ill when you see how much stores here charge for a small bottle of repellent - mosquitos aren't the only blood suckers in Hawaii.
Y así todo...
En fin, que aunque por designios del destino finalmente no logre viajar a Hawaii, habrá valido la pena pillar las guías tan solo por los buenos ratos que estoy pasando con ellas. Así que gracias mil!
