Para el pedestal no se para la corona seguramente no porque tienes que rservar la entrada segun sale, no puedes llegar allí y decir que quieres subir,este hilo te puede servir

En la Estatua de la Libertad no. Salvo para pasar el control de seguridad de la entrada.
Hola voy ahora en mayo, y he comprado la NY City pass, es necesario reservar para hacer la visita?? o entras a la estatua igualmente??

Con la city pass tienes entrada pero sólo tienen algunas asignadas a los que tengan la tarjeta, tienes que ir pronto por la mañana a las taquillas a recogerlas y pronto es el plan a las 8 cuando abren. Con eso tendrás acceso al ferry y al pedestal de la estatua, nunca a la corona (estas entradas hay que cogerlas con más de 4 meses de antelación)

Hola, me equivoque de post y me han dirigido a este, por lo que hago la consulta aquí.
He intentado reservar en la corona pero la primera fecha disponible era en octubre, así que solamente he podido reservar en el pedestal y dando gracias que sólo había a las 2 de la tarde...
Por lo que he leído por aquí en el foro, entiendo que esa hora que te asignan es para el ferry que va hasta la isla y no para acceder a la estatua, por lo que entiendo que al comprar la entrada al pedestal de la estatua incluye también la entrada al ferry que te lleva hasta la isla no??
He leido todos los mensajes destacados y algunos sueltos de los demas y no he encontrado respuesta, pero es posible que alguien ya lo haya preguntado.. en ese caso sorry!. Alguien puede decirme si merece la pena coger la entrada que incluye la visita al museo de la inmigración en Ellis Island (Hard Hat Reserve Ticket)?.
Si querríamos bajarnos en Ellis Island por verlo, pero no se si merece la pena coger la entrada al museo, que ademas me supone no poder coger la subida al pedestal (la corona ya la he dado por imposible...).
Yo creo que es un tour diferente al que solemos hacer, la entrada para la estatua o la isla te incluye la entrada al edificio en Ellis Island por tu cuenta.
El que tu comentas te lleva a los hospitales que hay en la isla.

Por lo que he visto, subir a la corona en Agosto, imposible, no hay disponibilidad.
Mi idea es comprar la NY explorer pass, pero en la opción del viaje de la estatua de la libertad, no viene incluido el pedestal. Sí el ferry y el museo de inmigración.
¿Dónde reservar el pedestal? ¿El pedestal entiendo que es solo acceder a la base de la estatua, verdad? o tiene su museo y demás?
¿Qué tiempo se puede emplear en eso? Es para planificar el día...

Bueno, me contesto yo misma que ya he encontrado bien toda la info. Os había preguntado sobre un tour que no es muy nombrado en este foro pero que también se puede contratar a través de la web de statecruises. Se trata del New York Hard Hat Tour of Ellis Island. Lo describen así:
See the other side of Ellis Island, the unrestored Ellis Island Hospital Complex on a 90-minute "Hard Hat Tour".
Ticket price includes Ferry Ticket and Guilded Tour, 90 minute Guided tour of the unrestored Ellis Island immigrant hospital buildings and "Unframed - Ellis Island," Art Exhibit by renowned French artist JR on display throughout the hospital complex with installations on 16 interior walls.
You will see the Laundry Building, Power House, wards, kitchen, autopsy theater residence and much more as you learn the history of the largest and most modern public health facility of the early 20th century. Tours are led by Save Ellis Island's experts and educators.
A portion of your purchase will go towards the restoration and maintenance of the historic Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital.
Tour Conditions
All participants must be 13 years of age or older.
Participants should expect to be on their feet for 90 minutes.

You must check in at the Save Ellis Island Information Desk on the ground floor of the Ellis Island Immigration Museum when you arrive on the island and again at the start time for your tour. Each participant is to sign a waiver before taking this tour and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver for them.
Preparing for the tour
Tours will be held regardless of the weather; except in cases of extreme cold, heat or forecast of significant snow/ice. Save Ellis Island will make every effort to notify participants within 24 hrs of cancelling tours due to weather.
The buildings are not climate controlled and participants must be properly dressed for weather conditions in New York Harbor on the day of their tour. This may include rain, snow or wind. In extreme weather, the National Park Service may close the island early or for the entire day, requiring cancellation of tours.
There are no working bathrooms on the south side of Ellis Island. Please make use of the facilities in the Immigration Museum before reporting for the tour.
Wear comfortable, closed-toe/heel shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toed shoes and high heels are not permitted.
Bags larger than a standard backpack, 16" x 20", are not allowed on the Hard Hat tour. Over-sized packs and luggage are not permitted. No exceptions.
Building conditions and artifacts
Participants understand that they will enter unrestored buildings containing potential hazards including broken glass, uneven walking surfaces, dust, cracks and loose fixtures. Participants will exercise care to avoid all hazards.
These unrestored buildings do not comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Participants must be able to climb stairs. We regret that visitors with wheelchairs or scooters are not permitted on the tour.
Per National Park Service regulations, removal or disturbance of historic artifacts on Ellis Island is prohibited. Participants will not touch anything in the hospital buildings unless specifically permitted by the Save Ellis Island tour guide.
Photography
Still photography is allowed as long as it does not delay the tour, at the Save Ellis Island tour guide’s discretion. Additional camera gear such as tripods, unipods and additional lighting is not permitted.
Participants are not permitted to take video while on the tour.
This Reserve Ticket offers a self-guided Audio Tour headset as your tour around Liberty Island. The Reserve Ticket provides access to the grounds of Liberty Island and limited access to Ellis Island Immigrations Museum. The Reserve Ticket allows you priority entry to the Boarding Queue which saves you time at the departure point.

Da un poco de cosa el tema de que tienes que firmar un disclaimer diciendo que asumes los riesgos y tal... pero es probable que lo cojamos, así que ya os contaré si merece la pena o no.. (mas me vale porque tela con el precio!!). Lo unico malo es que no incluye la subida al pedestar de Miss Liberty, que me apetecia hacerla, he enviado un mail para saber si puedo añadir ese extra allí sobre la marcha...
