Alguien sabe la fecha de la Feria de camello de Pushkar para el 2018? También tengo entendido que el festival Kumbh Mela no se realiza hasta 2019, ¿es así?

Hola,

Aunque este mensaje es del 2006 igual a alguien que vaya en el futuro le sirve la respuesta.

Estuve este año 2012 unos 3 meses por India, y en el festival del camello todos los días. Y eso que no quería quedarme más que 2, pero la buena gente, la musica, la comida, el ambiente, está genial.

Ir para ver camellos es mejor al principio. Al final quedan los que no se han vendido. Recomiendo los shows que hay por la noche, mirad mi video blog de Pushkar Musical para que tengais una idea de que se hace.

Los hoteles te cobran un poco más, pero siempre hay sitio. El último día coincide con luna llene y se juntan miles o millones de personas, nunca vi tanta gente junta. Ese día puede ser mas complicado encontrar hotel, pero seguro que hay habitaciones caras por 10 euros. Normalmente valen 3 euros.

Id con cuidado en pushkar. Aunque fue uno de los sitios que más me gustó, puede ser peligroso. Cuando os acerquéis al lago, os intentarán cobrar todo lo que puedan por unos pétalos de rosa o por bajar al ver el lago. Aunque me consta que mucha gente no habrá tenido problemas y le habrá pecido seguro, a nosotros nos arrinconaron y conozco unos andaluces que se pegaron.
