Por cierto... La Rabbit Proof Fence (valla a prueba de conejos) se colocó en un intento de evitar que los conejos entraran en las áreas agrícolas de West Australia

La gran mayoría de las Big Things de Australia nacieron como atractivos turísticos, con el objetivo de llamar la atención en torno de una particularidad o un producto local.
Los animales y las frutas son las dos categorías más importantes. Entre los primeros hay insectos y crustáceos (nuestro famoso Larry), aves, ovejas, peces, ranas, vacas y ejemplares de la fauna local como canguros, un demonio de Tasmania, un ornitorrinco, cocodrilos, un wombat y varios koalas.
