Me gustaría preguntar sobre UMM EL QAAB, las tumbas reales, creo que se pueden visitar, alguien sabe los precios?. Voy a estar en Luxor en diciembre 4 días y voy a hacer la excursión denderah y abidos en un día, me gustaría añadir la visita a las tumbas de los primeros faraones.
Creo que los organizadores del chat estáis haciendo un trabajo increíble.
Pero...... Esta complicado, salvo llevarlo atado desde casa gracias a algún guia que sea competente y conocedor del lugar, la visita es casi una aventura, seria aventurarse por tu cuenta con ese probable guia, o con un conductor del lugar, la otra y mas utilizada ultimamente es acordar con el dueño del House of Life Abydos Hotel, que esta justo enfrente de la entrada al templo de Seti I, ellos pueden organizarlo, aunque solo lo hacen para huespedes y no siempre se complican.
Una vez llegaras allí, también es una aventura cual de los conjuntos de tumbas estan "destapados" pues al estar en pleno desierto suelen estar cubiertos de arena, salvo los que se esta trabajando.

...Luxor, el ferry para pasar de la orilla este a la oeste se toma enfrente del museo de Luxor. Dos veces tomé una barca privada en Luxor. Pagué 30 libras por toda la barca (más 10 de propina que quise dar).
- Para el resto de las excursiones he negociado taxi. Doy los precios que recuerdo, pero hay que tener en cuenta que todo depende de la negociación. En algunos casos, yo habré pagado seguro en exceso (y en algún caso puntual he decidido no apretar más). Para ir de Luxor a Dendera y Abydos pagué por todo el día 2200 libras. Tenía referencia de un precio inferior, pero por las circunstancias lo dejé estar. En Luxor el hotel de la orilla oeste me puso un taxi todo el día por 30 euros, pero luego ya me moví otros días caminando o cogiendo taxis por viajes puntuales, lo que obviamente me resultó mucho más barato. En El Cairo por 5 horas pagué 600 libras, incluyendo llevarme después de ese tiempo al hotel en Giza. Luego, negocié 100 euros por tres días: un día completo en Cairo y llevarme de regreso al hotel en Giza, un día completo en Dashur, Memfis y Saqqara, y llevarme al aeropuerto temprano desde Giza el tercer día. En Luxor, New Memnon Hotel, junto a los colosos, en la orilla oeste. En Giza, Life Pyramids Inn. Todos hoteles sencillos pero limpios y con personal amable y acogedor. Recomendados. Si alguien quiere más detalles, los doy sin problemas.
TARJETA MÓVIL:
- Llegué al Cairo de noche, pero había al menos dos mostradores abiertos. Compré una Vodafone que me recomendó el chico que me atendió, en función del tiempo que iba a estar en Egipto (ni la más cara ni la más barata). Como punto negativo, que quizás otros viajeros puedan tener en cuenta para preguntar, después de agotar un número determinado de megas para Whatsapp reducía la velocidad de esta aplicación, por lo que tardaba mucho en enviar las fotos. El resto (Google Maps, navegación, etc.) perfecto durante todo el viaje y con uso intensivo, a veces por trabajo. En general, en los hoteles la Wifi va regular.
MONEDA
- He tratado de pagar casi todo en libras (con algunas excepciones). He sacado alguna vez de cajero y también he cambiado en oficinas de cambio (en el barrio copto, con muy cambio) y en hoteles (cambio algo peor). Probablemente mejor cambiar que cajero. El que no quiera puede pagar muchas cosas en euros, aunque yo soy partidario de la moneda local cuando se puede.
LUXOR / CAIRO PASS:
- Lamentablemente, no pude comprar el Cairo Pass primero para beneficiarme del descuento del 50% en el Luxor Pass, como es recomendable. Lo hice al revés.
- Luxor Pass: Lo compré en el Valle de los Reyes. Ya sabéis que hay que llevar el dinero en euros (o dólares) exacto, más un par de fotos y fotocopia del pasaporte (llevad varias, por si acaso). El pase normal cuesta 90 euros (100 dólares). El Premium, que es el que cogí yo, y que incluye las tumbas de Seti I y Nefertari, 180 euros (200 dólares). El hombre que lo tramitó quería propina. Le di un dólar y punto.

I wish to inform on how seriously frustrated and disappointed I am about my recent experience with Klass Wagen.
I did make a reservation for 9 días; 1st of May till the 9th of May under OTP-520114228711 booking reference for Jose Manuel Mariño in Bucarest Otopeni airport.
From the first moment my family and myself did arrive to the main offices, located near the airport, we were almost forced to select a FULL insurance package, with an extra cost of 166€ in total, when I did already have one with Economy car rental , from which I was making the car reservation. At the beginning the conversations and treat from Klass Wagen partners in the office was correct, until we reach the moment to discuss the FULL insurance package. From Klass Wagen staff we did receive different alert notifications with images warning examples, on what could happen if I was not selecting this option. (500€ extra penalty for small scratches). Klass Wagen staff wanted really to scare us. From the moment we did informed that we were not interested in this option the attitude from Klass Wagen partners to my family and myself change drastically, in which we still had some last warning alerts forcing me to select this FULL insurance package, (that we have never experienced in any rental car provider before).
So we didn´t select this FULL insurance package even do the alert messages from Klass wagen staff as we had already had one, and as the cost was super high. In this moment, the Klass Wagen staff did inform that we needed to make pictures all over the car, being this the first time on my whole life I am requested to do this, and honestly, we have been renting cars from a long time. We did make lots of pictures from the areas of the outside & inside car while we were checking the car with Klass wagen staff. After a long process that my family and myself had to suffered, in which we found 50 scratches, my family and myself we were able to leave the office.
Then yesterday, 9th of May when we did return the car back, we needed before returning the same, to clean the same from the inside and outside from a professional place as requested by Klass Wagen with warning advises if we were not doing this. Again, this is something that is the first time my family and myself have been requested, to look for a Car wash place in a country is not ours and that you are visiting on holidays.
After checking again ALL the mention previously 50 scratches + new possible ones, Klass Wagen staff informed to my family and myself that there was a new one that was not reported when the booking started. Klass Wagen staff requested to us if we did had an image on that area, unfortunately we didn´t had no picture from that specific area, (from the 60 pictures we did made, we were not having anyone from that specific area, as is impossible to make pictures of ALL inside & outside areas of car as you can imagine! Anyhow the scratch in concrete was super thin, not even done with a tree leaf as I can show on the below image. I have to say that there were other scratches on the car that Klass Wagen staff didn´t included on the initial contract that were the same as this one! Klass Wagen staff informed that was not possible to add ALL mini & tiny scratches around the car as there were thousands for real!

Con el rompedor arte moderno creado por más de 50 artistas internacionales, la bienal de Liverpool de 2021 va a exponer obras increíbles en galerías, museos y espacios públicos de toda la ciudad. En la XI edición, que debería haberse celebrado en 2020, la comisaria ecuatoriana Manuela Moscoso va a aprovechar todo su saber hacer y experiencia para hacer que el festival de 2021 sea algo realmente especial.

Nos costó 136 dólares y la experiencia muy buena. Fuimos a todos los lugares casi sin gente, el barco grande era nuevo y estaba impecable (apenas un mes que lo vienen usando)

Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay.

12.30: Having lunch on the boat.
Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Dark Cave.
Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas.
Enjoy sunset on the bay.
19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat.
Optional squid fishing at night.
Day 2
- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds limestone island at less touristy areas.
Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach.
Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons).
- After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay.
- Return Cat Ba Town at 15.00 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba).

Jinxi ★★★★☆; (锦溪古镇), se encuentra en el suroeste de la ciudad de Kunshan (昆山市), provincia de Jiangsu, a 100 kilómetros del aeropuerto internacional de Shanghai Pudong y a 75 kilómetros del aeropuerto de Wuxi. Jinxi es una aldea acuática en el sur del río Yangtze con una historia de más de 2,000 años. Es conocida como la "Ciudad natal de los museos populares chinos" y tiene muchos paisajes culturales, sitios históricos e innumerables edificios con características únicas. Las atracciones famosas incluyen la Corte Real de Tongshen, Chen Yushui y el Estanque del Loto.

En vacaciones y fines de semana, el casco antiguo estará tan lleno que será difícil moverse. Aparte de esto, vale la pena la visita.
Anchang ★★★★☆ (安昌古镇) es una de las cuatro aldeas antiguas famosas de Shaoxing y es la primera aldea histórica y cultural anunciada en la provincia de Zhejiang. Se encuentra en el extremo noroeste del distrito de Keqiao, ciudad de Shaoxing, conectando con el distrito de Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, con la autopista Hangzhou-Ningbo en el norte. Fue construido en la dinastía Song del Norte. Fue destruido por la guerra muchas veces durante las dinastías Ming y Qing. Hello friends. I would like to suggest to go for Thailand & Malaysia. Yes, Singapore is also the better option, but not pocket-friendly. I had been to Thailand in last year, just for 5 days & had truly amazing experiences with its beauty, nature, delicious food & beaches. As I love shopping, so started our tour journey with Damnoen Saduak, one of the famous floating market in Bangkok. I was just surprised by seeing in real, the markets on water. Later we headed to Pattaya & had scuba diving which I had never been experienced in my life. Had delicious food & spent some time on beach resorts. Then on 3rd day we reached to Phuket & tried to cover the possible attractions like Big Budha, Fanta Sea Show & enjoyed its beaches. Then the next day we kept it for my favourite thing & that is shopping In short, I will never forget those 5 days in Thailand. Now planning for Malaysia at the end of August. Hope it would be too great. Guys please suggest some good places & tips. Visa process centres & tips suggestions would be appreciable. Thanks you friends.

Hola a todos. Estoy organizando mis días en Guilin/Yangshou y me vendría bien algo de ayuda...
Llegamos viernes por la noche y estaremos hasta el martes por la tarde, o sea, que tenemos unos 3 días y medio más o menos. Nuestra idea es ir un día a ver las terrazas de arroz, ver algo de Guilin y el resto dedicarlo a Yangshou. Siguiendo consejos del foro, he contactado con Gary de winwintravels y me propone:
Day 1: Tour 101, rice terrace and Li River.
1, Pick you up and take private car from your hotel in Guilin to Longsheng ( Longji ) rice terrace.
2, Visit Ping an Zhuang Minority Village to experience the local people life and culture: wooden house, wind rain bridge, long hair and so on.
3, Visit Ping an rice terrace, it is also known as Dragon Backbone rice terrace:
No: 1 Scenic Spot of Seven Stars Accopany the Moon, enjoy the perfect curves of the rice terrace.
Hike on rice terrace from No: 1 to No: 2 and enjoy the gorgeous views of rice terrace on the mountains.
No: 2 Scenic Spot of Nine Dragons and Fiver Tigers: hike on rice terrace and enjoy the gorgeous views of rice terrace on the mountains.
4, Take private car from rice terrace to Yangdi.
Stop to see and take photos of Kissing Hill near Yangdi.
5, Do Li River cruising from Yangdi to Nine horse Hill Dock and back to Yangdi.
Views of the river, mountains are very good, good for relaxing, sightseeing and taking photos.
6, Take private car back to your hotel in Yangshuo.
During the way, stop to see and take photos of Kissing Hill; the hill looks like two hills standing there to kiss each other.
Day 2: biking, Yulong River bamboo rafting, Moon Hill.
1, Biking from Hotel to Jima Echo Valley to enjoy the beautiful views and take wonderful photos of the reflection of montains.
It is a hiking path area, very good environment with good view, quiet and fresh air.
2, Biking to Yulong River and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Yulong River.
The newly built path along Yulong River is only for biking and hiking. The landscape is very good with beautiful reflection of the karst peaks on the river and flesh air: good for taking photos.

In short, I will never forget those 5 days in Thailand. Now planning for Malaysia at the end of August. Hope it would be too great. Guys please suggest some good places & tips. Visa process centres & tips suggestions would be appreciable. Thanks you friends.
