El Parque Natural els Ports se extiende a través de la vertiente catalana del macizo de los Puertos de Tortosa – Beceite, unidad montañosa compartida por las provincias de Tarragona, Castellón y Teruel. Els Ports fue declarado parque natural por el Gobierno de España en 2001 y abarca una extensión de 35.050 hectáreas.
Para acceder, la autovía A-7 y la carretera N-340 (ambas entre Valencia y Barcelona) cuentan con salidas, a la altura de Amposta y L’Aldea, hacia Tortosa. Desde ahí, el acceso a Los Puertos se lleva a cabo a partir de carreteras secundarias. Cerca del Parque Natural els Ports se encuentran otros municipios de interés turístico como Horta de Sant Joan.
